Welcome

Silence, a strange thing when you are on your own. You become jumpy, nervous and above all creeped out. In the world we live in silence is something we have far forgotten, but this dark, moonless night there is nothing but silence, and darkness. The hundereds of stars above don't do much for lighting for you are sorrounded by trees in a lage forest. How did you get lost in here? Well you can't really remember but now you want to get out. Suddenly the silence is broken by a snapping twig yo yor side. Jumping back you let out a quiet squeek of shock and backing up more the shadows consealing everything around you. Another snap comes but from behind you, this wasn't good! That was...another break to your side, ok that was it, time for a new plan...RUN AWAY! You thought quickly bolting off in the oposite direction of the last sound as you rushed through the trees some of the low branches scraping across your face as you struggle to keep up the pace and avoid the roots sticking out of the ground that would easly make you lose balance. Something that catches you off guard infrount of you as you try and skid to a stop but ended up triping on one of the roots at your feet and fell flat on your face, greatttttt... You look up coughing a little, dirt didn't really taste that good as you tryed to figure out what you say and looked farther ahead. A light, fire, purple, wait...PURPLE FIRE?! How was that possible? And they where...FLOATING IN MIDAIR?! One...Two...Three.......Six of them all together! As they got closer a figure started to imerge from the fire's light, a...Xweetok? Strange...You quickly sat up as it got closer to you. A blue Xweetok with darker almost black markings, Bright yellow eyes, Something around its neck, Bracelets, Chains, Faerie Wings purple ones and anntenna. The fire balls where at the ends of each wing and the anntennas. The Xweetok looked at you confused "You ok?"

Family

I'm not really sure about my family any more. I havn't seen them in a very long time. My mom is a very beautiful faerie Xweetok and my dad is a fire Xweetok! I have seven brothers to! They never really did notice me much but I guess thats ok! *smiles* They actually resemble my dad a lot more then my mom but I resemble my mom a lot! Though I wasn't born with the purple colorings so I don't know when I got them. But I really don't want to know! ^^

Friends

Tsu
I met her while I was still on my way to the forest. She is really nice but seems to be hiding a lot and says she can see peoples sins, though I really don't know what that meens. She is really kind and has a Pink Ona named Sheolii.

Airi
I met him quite a while ago when I was still new to the forest, of course we didn't meet at the best time, I had zoned out (Again) and he ended up coming behind me and scaring me quite baddly. After some fighting and stuff I got quite mad at him, but after a little more talking we made up, and he gave me a bracelet, that I still wear always. I really care about him and always worry about him because he always seems to get hurt, or lie to me. For some reason though through all of that, I want to stay by his side. He is also an angel from Valhalla. I ended up going there once with him, but not for the best of reasons, but it is very beautiful there and its really cool that a place like that is Airi's home. Maybe some day I should take him to my home?

Petpet .:Demi:.

Well, Its kind of hard to get a picture of Demi so I kind of had to draw a picture of him for now till I can get him to sit still. Anyways, this is Demi, he is a Mutant Ona and my petpet. Isn't he cute? ^///^ A lot of people say that a mutant pet is gross but I don't I think they are just the best! I met Demi not to long after I got to the Xweetok Forest while I was wondering around. Demi is a special petpet, he can talk to you through his mind, oh, and he can spit acid too. He said he use to be able to talk but the acid he can make in his mouth kind of destroyed his voice box so he learned how to speak through his mind. He is
really protective of me and normally doesn't leave my side always laying on my back or sitting on my head. He is actually a real help for me because I have a habit of zoning out and not noticing anything around me, so Demi acts as an extra pair of eyes and tells me if there is something wrong.

Zyask was born into an already large family. With seven older brothers, and her as the first girl to be born she was given some good advantages and of course, some bad. Her mother was a beautiful Xweetok who often spoiled her daughter seeing her as an amazing gift. Her father was a powerful fire Xweetok and also the king of the surrounding land. He was a kind ruler though and many of his people enjoyed him as their right and fair ruler.

Her brothers, the youngest 3 years older then her, all enjoyed to train all hoping they would be chosen to be the next ruler. All six of them where quite close together in age, the oldest only five years more then the youngest. The two oldest where twins and often argued over which of them would some day rule, they where only two minutes different in age but they both saw themselves best fit for ruler.

Anyways, Back to Zyask, she was a blue faerie Xweetok, but back then, her wings where that of a normal faerie Xweetok and she held no purple flame markings. She often watched from the sidelines as her brothers trained with the knights who protected the castle they lived in. Most of the time she wasn't to do much, her mother not allowing her to train with her brothers. She didn't see her father as much as her brothers did but really didn't mind, much of the time she played by herself trying to keep out of trouble. But as she got older she wanted to be noticed by her parents and brothers, who she saw less of as every day passed. Her father didn't seem to care that much for her always saying he was to busy with ruling or helping her brothers. Her mother was a lot of the time off somewhere and left her behind, and her brothers just pushed her away saying things like 'Your to weak for this' or 'You'll just get in the way.' There where many times where she would hide in a hidden part of the castle for over a day or more, hoping one of them would come and find her. But after a day or so she often gave up and when she came out, it was like nothing had happened.

As the months turned into years and years soon enough it was her 10th birthday. Her excitement grew towards this day for months thinking this would be the time she could really be with her family, but they all had forgotten. No one said 'Happy Birthday' to her, no hugs, and no smiles towards her, nothing at all. She waited out the whole day thinking they would make a surprise but there was nothing and when night came and she went to bed, no one even came to her and said anything. She had just been, forgotten.

The next day when she got up she was tired of it all, no one…no one AT ALL had said a WORD to her…NOTHING! She was so mad she could have screamed. She had decided during the night that it was the last straw! She would just leave! She couldn't take this, being ignored, forgotten all of it was past the point of return. That day she snuck out of the castle and headed towards the village. No one there had ever seen her before; they would just see her as a traveler.

When she got there, people where a little surprised by her different look but she just made up a story that she was a traveler and everyone just went about their daily duties. She went into a shop to by some food with a little of the money she had taken from the castle then found a small hotel where I could sleep. She would wait out for a week or so and see what happened.

A few days into her time in the village she ended up talking to a lot of the creatures there, she loved being able to talk to others about all kind of things and her feeling of being alone drifted away a little. Her mind kept going towards her family though, wondering if they did remember her.

A week had soon past and as she went to the store to pick up supplies for her going away now she over heard people talking. The oldest son of the king was turning 18 tomorrow and would be taking over the thrown. She decided to wait and listen but what she heard shocked her. There was a large group of fighters, thief's and other bad people who where planning in intruding on this celebration, and kill all of them, the current king, his wife, and all of their children. With them gone, they could take over! If felt like the life had been just sucked out of Zyask as she continued to listen, her family was in danger! She had to do something!

She quickly started to leave the shop to go back to the castle but someone stopped her at the door and grabbed her by the arm stopping her from getting away. "Where do you think you are going?" He asked smirking at her as the others went around her. "I recognize you, you're the youngest of the king, Am a correct?" He asked. Zyask couldn't make a sound but her eyes showed her fear as he pulled her out of the store and into a different building. He quickly tied her wrists and ankles together throwing her into a corner of the dark room. "Now, we can't have you go spoil our little plans now can we?" He asked as he brought out a large knife walking towards her. Zyask screamed for someone to help her but she didn't get a reply as he brought the knife up above her then brought it down at her as the blade dug into her shoulder going in deep enough to rip through her muscles and cut into her bones. She screamed in pain as he took the now dripping knife out of her and took a step back. Zyask watched confused as another creature came up from behind the other, this one an Xweetok "Will this be good enough?" The first one asked as the Xweetok nodded and told the others around to leave and they did so. The Xweetok smirked at her, "Now, you're going to help us with our plan. Got it?" He said sternly as Zyask shuttered in fear unable to hold back the tears of pain from her eyes. "N...no! I won't! That's my family!" She yelled at him but he just chuckled coldly as he took out something from around his belt "Who said you would have a choice?" He asked. He came down to Zyask's level, the thing he had in his paw, was a veil holding something that she couldn't make out. He took it out of the veil as she watched in fear, she still couldn't make out what it was in the dimly lit room as he put all of it onto Zyask's wound and pushed it all in as deep as she could, as soon as it made contact with her blood Zyask was unable to move as she whimpered in pain. "This," The Xweetok started to explain "Is a special herb I made, it lets me take control of your body" Zyask looked at him in shock, "No!" She yelled in disbelief her voice breaking as she struggled to get it out.

The Xweetok chuckled backing up a little "Oh yes Princess" He said his eyes glowing lime green as Zya stood to her feet, but she wasn't in control anymore. She tried to talk but she was unable to speak now, she had lost all control over herself. The Xweetok chuckled "Now, you're not really strong enough to do much at your power level..." He muttered bringing out his paw in front of him "So I guess I will have to help you out." Right then a purple flame appeared in the Xweetoks paws as he quickly trusted his paw into her chest the fire ball absorbing into her body. Her face went pale as a large amount of pain shot through her body. She would have screamed but she couldn't do anything anymore as her wings suddenly lit on fire and formed into a new set of wings, the ends of her antennas also lit on fire. In her mind she was screaming out for someone to help her as the pain continued to grow. The xweetok just smirked "Now, Here are your orders" He said as if he didn't know Zya was in so much pain "Go and kill your family, and everyone else in the castle" He ordered. Zya screamed out agents it refusing to in her mind but she was silent, her mouth unmoving as she turned and walked towards the castle unable to stop herself.

She casually walked towards the castle. The guards noticed her and recognized her face able to tell she was the princess, but when they saw her wings their suspicion grew as they brought up their weapons a little asking what was going on. Zya looked at them as two fire swords appeared in her paws and in the blink of an eye each sword was in each guard, killing them instantly. The swords disappeared as she walked into the castle, the guard's body's dropping to the ground. She went into the throne room silently as her mother saw her and quickly went over to her, tears in her eyes as she hugged Zya "I was so worried, where have you..." Her body fell to the ground dead her eyes still open in shock. Her father and brothers along with many of the others who resided in the castle saw this some screaming out in shock and others speechless and again more brought out their swords.

Zya's yellow eyes begin to glow purple as fiery blades appeared all around her body, each shooting towards someone, each deadly accurate and killing them instantly, except for her father and brothers which hit them still but not in a killing location. They all watched her in shock as she walked towards them, more blades appearing and hitting but still, she didn't kill them. She was soon right in front of them as her wings burst into flames beginning to light everything around on fire, but it didn't burn her. She created a few more blades pinning them all to the ground then walking away as the area around them began to light on fire and surround them, and to kill them.

The fire quickly spread through the castle as everyone inside was killed with in the flames. Zya walked calmly out of the castle and a little ways off she stopped as the herb the Xweetok had used began to wear off a quite and sad sobbing began to be heard and tears started flowing from Zya's eyes. After a minute she fell to her knees bringing her hands up and covering her face as she cried more shaking her head in disbelief. "I... I... father... mother... brothers... everyone...no!" She whimpered between sobs. Something then appeared behind her smirking "Job well done" It said as Zya jumped turning around but unable to stand, it was the black xweetok again. "Get away from me!" Zya screamed trying to back up but just tripped, she was still too weak to move much.

The Xweetok came down besides her chuckling "You can't change what happened now can you?" He asked a sly smirk on his face. Zya looked at him with fear and sadly tears still flowing steadily from her eyes "W...Why?!" The Xweetok chuckled "Because I wanted them dead, and it was easier to have you do it..." He said standing back up, towering over Zya "Now you're the only one to go!" He said as a red fiery sword appeared in his paw as he quickly brought it down at Zya. She screamed in fear as a purple flamed barrier appeared around her body, he looked at her in shock "What?! You shouldn't be able to use the powers any more!" He yelled in rage attacking her more but the barrier continued to protect her. It quickly shot out blades at him as he yelled in pain falling back, he wasn't dead but he was unconscious now. Zya as quickly as she could stand and ran away, the tears never stopping.

For a month she hide in the forests near by refusing to leave. Her spirit was broken, and her family, all of them where gone because of her. Day in and day out her lost sleep from sadness and got weaker from lack of food and water. She didn't ever care if she died right then and their. One night she finally fell asleep from weakness but that would have been the night she never woke up.

Zya woke up days later to the crack of s fire, and she felt warmth she hadn't felt in over a month. She slowly opened her eyes when she finally noticed; she was in a bed, warm blankets over her. She turned her head a little looking around as she felt a cloth fall off her forehead. That's when she saw someone come up beside her from another room, a green Xweetok, with blue eyes like a jewel. She smiled down at her "Well, I see your awake finally young one" She said picking up the cloth that had fallen from her forehead and putting it into a bowl of water. "Where am I?' Zya asked weakly and confused. The Xweetok smiled at you "I found you unconscious in the woods near my house" She explained "I brought you back here. What happened? Are you ok? Your shoulder is in bad condition, did something happen?" She asked. Zya looked at her sadly as tears once again formed in her eyes "T...They are..." She whimpered her voice breaking. The Xweetok sighed a little putting her paw on Zya's head "Don't worry. You don't have to tell me" She said calmly "Just rest" Zya nodded quickly falling back asleep.

Zya stayed in the Xweetoks, who she later learned her name was Kisa, house and began to get stronger but her spirit was still broken and sad. She soon learned that Kisa lived in the forest to work on making medicines and other kinds of herbs to help people. She also knew a lot of magic and spells that Zya watched her do. Kisa often asked Zya what happened to her in the forest but Zya always was unable to say a word about it. Kisa, seeing that Zya had something horrible happen to her before she found her offered her something. It was a spell she could do to suppress the bad memories that haunted Zya, but of course there was a cost. It would only hide the worst of the memories and only a select few that Zya could choose, she would have to have something with her at all times, the idem would be what hid the memories away and if she ever took it off, the memories would come back.

Zya agreed instantly not caring for what it would cost; she just wanted to forget it all! Kisa created the headband she now always wears and because of the headband Zya's worst memories, of when she had killed everyone in the castle disappeared from her memory. Soon after she was well enough to leave Kisa's house and travel around more. For a few years all she did was travel all across the area and loved all of it. With out those few memories she was able to move on, and though she can't remember any more of the memories the headband hides she knows to never take it off for fear of reliving those memories again.

Over time Zya started to be able to use strange fire powers, which now she had no real control over and didn't even know why she had them, and she didn't know why her wings where different now compared to her memories of her childhood but she doesn't care not wanting to know. She knew that if she didn't remember, she didn't want to know.

Soon enough she heard tales of a Forest hidden in the mountains, a place where many, many Xweetoks lived. All kinds with all kinds of powers and abilities. Out of curiosity Zya decided to find this forest and see if what everyone said was true.

The Look

Wings
Zya's wings are for the most part shaped like a normal Faerie Xweetok's wings. But they do come to a point at the end and the wings markings are that of purple fire that is lightest as the base of her wings and flare out at the edges. When she gets mad and begins to use her powers her wings will turn completly into flames making it so she can make the wings grow to a much larger size and she flyes a lot faster. The flames can also then be used to create barriors and different types of fire attacks. For almost all of the time though the only real fire seen on her wings are at the pointed tips which are small fire balls that are always lit. They are also a show of her mood and energy, when she gets up set then burn smaller and dimmer and when angery they grow and get brighter. At the end of her anntennas there are also fire balls just like these.

Headband
If you have read through Zya's story you will understand why she wears this headband. It is based off an Anime called Naruto but it has a completly different use and sign. The sign on it is a marking of a memory supression though unless someone knows the right kind of magic they wouldn't actually reconize it. If it ever came off the bad memorys of her past that it hid would shoot back at her and most likely break her spirit so bad it couldn't be mended. Once off the spell and sign dissaper and the only way for it to be useful again would be if someone redid the spell causing the sign and seal to reapper.
Zya no longer has her headband but this will be left up here just information wise. And since she doesn't have it any longer she also has her memory's back.

The start shone dimmly in the sky as the sun began to rise, the shadows of the mountians sorrounding the forest creating long shadows through the valley. From the north path something quietly walked towards the forest but there wasn't enough light to see the full figure, the only thing easly seen where six fire balls...PURPLE fireballs? A weird sight for many as the figure got closer towards the forest.

-Not far infront of the figure was another figure. Two purple antennae hung low over her light magenta forelock.Strange hoop like markings covered her torso, legs, and tail most of her face hidden from the shadows.A small pink ona circled the xweetok but stopped seeing the newcomer.-

The figure didn't nitice anyone near by as it continued to walk its head and eyes gazing at the sky as it hummed quietly to herself her tail swishing back and forth.

-Tsu turned her head her pink eyes not blinking as she stared at the figure. Her forelock covered most of her face at the moment.Standing she flexed her hoop like wings and kept her gaze on the figure.-"Do you live here?"-Her voice was strong yet with an air of elegance.-

The xweetok jumped a little falling back to a sitting position looking at Tsu confused cocking her head "Whoa, don't sneak up on people like that!" She said annoyed but grinned showing she was just joking as her tail swished behind her and she stayed sitting.

I was sitting in clear view...were you not the one staring at the sky?"-She asked matter of factly blinking once.-"...You didn't answer my question."-She looked straight at the figure as if she was looking at each detail.-

Well...you...Shouldn't scare others like that!" She said quietly at first but got louder at the end pointing at Tsu still smiling.

...Its not my fault you are easily frightened."-She said returning the smile.-"Is this the xweetok forest?"

Um...Why ask me?" She said confused "Shouldn't you ask someone...who knows where they are?"

Well I did ask if you lived here yet you avoided the question and just went on about you being frightened."-She said cocking an eyebrow.-"If you cannot help me I will find another."-She said turning away,Sheolii her pink ona stayed behind to stare at the figure.-

She just stood walking towards the forest, seeming to follow Tsu humming quietly to herself again looking up at the sky as the last stars faded from view.

-Sheolii ran up to the figure and poked her.As she did so she squealed and jumped on to Tsu's back.-"Sheolii poking strange, easily frightened xweetoks isn't very nice..."-She said smirking to Zyask.-

Zyask cocked her head a little "I'm not strange!" She insisted looking at Tsu annoyed.

-Tsu smirked as Sheolii peeked over her shoulder.-"Yes strange."-She said turning back towards the forest.-"You are not like the other xweetoks I have encountered..but I sense that this forest is full of strange xweetoks."

Zyask grinned happly "Of course I'm not like others. I'm Zyask not other Xweetoks" She said grinning "But I'm not strange! I meen...you...your the ones who strange!"

Oh trying to ruffle my feathers?Because I ruffled yours?"-She said bending her wings.-"Zyask you say?I am Tatsuromi, but Tsu is much easier to remember."-Stopping she spread out her wings and flew up quickly.-"This place..."-She whispered her eyes narrowing.-

You have feathers Tsu?" Zyask said confused watching her fly but stayed on the ground her wings twitching a little as the small fire balls on the tips of her wings sparked a little.

-Tsu looked down at Zyask and landed.-"I don't have feathers..do you have eyes?"-She said bluntly her hoop like wings fluttering slightly.-

Zyask grinned nodding as she walked bast Tsu as her tail poked her in the forehead lightly.

-Tsu blinked and turned smirking.-"Do you always resort to childish ways?"

I have no idea what you are talking about, but do you always act like an old granny who doesn't know how to have fun?" She asked stopping and looking back at Tsu grinning.

Well I am 220 years old...so..I am old..and I have no time to have fun...plus picking on people as a way of covering up my own insecurities is not what I call fun."-She said smirking as she walked past Zya.-

So you are an old granny!" Zya said laughing and followed beside Tsu chuckling "Why are you going towards this forest anyways?"

Why do you insist of avoiding serious situations?"-She asked closing her eyes, but she kept walking.-

What serious situations? I thought we where just talking?" Zya asked confused.

You constantly avoid my serious statements..and always refer to your childish comebacks."-She said walking still-

I havn't heared one of those statments yet!" Zya argued

Of course not.Its called selective hearing."-She stated hovering.-

Zya looked at her confused "O...k...?" She said not sure.

..you are strange"-She said giggling as she took flight.-"How old are you?16?..15?"-She asked turning upside down in the air.-

Zya grinned "16" She answered her wings twitching again as she walked watching Tsu.

Can you fly?"-She asked tilting her head-

Of course!" Zya said shocked by the question "What do you think is on my back?" She asked chuckling "Meepits?"

-Tsu cocked an eyebrow and giggled.-"Of course not they are too purple to be meepits."

Zya grinned as her wings twitched a little more then begining to lift her off the ground and she was quickly above Tsu chuckling.

Oh a show off are you?"-She said keeping the same speed as she was before.-

Zya shook her head "Nope" Just spreading my wings"

-Tsu flew alittle faster and yawned.-"I must find a place to sleep for the night."

But its morning!" Zya said following behind as the sun broke over the mountians lighting the forest.

-Tsu looked to the sky and sighed.-"So it is..."-She said blinking-

Zya laughed a little getting above Tsu and poking her "Can't tell dusk to dawn?"

...Actually in this forest..my eyes are clouded.."-She said sighing.-

Zya blinked a few times confused "What do you meen? Why would the forest do that? Its just a forest and nothing else!" She said.

How little you understand."-She said sighing.-"I see something noone sees."

Zya looked at her confused "Ok...What exactly do you see?"

Sin"-She said twirling around.-"All sin...what everyone defines as sin I see."

Zya looked at her confused "How is that possible?"

Obviously since I have the power."-She said closing her eyes.-

Zya was still more confused then ever as she looked ahead in awe of the forest "Wow...its so...BIG!"

and its full of sin."-She said off handedly.-

Zya looked at Tsu as her tail poked her forehead "Lighten up won't you?" She said gfrinning.

...I'll try."-She said smiling.-"Do you have powers?"

Zya nodded "Yeps I doos!"

well..show me?"-She said opening her eyes-

Zya grinned "Nope" She said flying ahead.

Okay then."-She said landing.-"..I have to go..this way...."-She said walking into the foilage.-"I don't have time to play around"

Zya stopped and landed following Tsu "Ok"

Why do you insist on following me?"-She asked stopping. Her markings began to glow alittle.-

Zya grinned "Cause I want to! Why?"

Its rather annoying..You are annoying."-She said closing her eyes.-"Plus you would not survive long travelling with me."

Zya frowned as her ears and wings lowered "I...I'm not annoying..." She said saddly.

...You..are not what I am used to thats all..I don't want to be followed."-She said walking still.-

Zya looked at her but quickly followed still.

-Tsu stopped her eyes glowing.-"Excuse me.But prehaps I am not being...clear enough"

But..." Zya said saddly her ears lowering "I want to stay with you...I don't know anyone else in the forest..."

You are very childish for a 16 year old.Resorting to picking at people and making jokes...you are not serious.Call me..a granny all you want I have a mission to fullfil."-She said walking again.-

Zya bit her lip following Tsu still.

-Tsu sighed letting Zya follow her.-"...Don't get in my way"

Zya nodded and smiled glad to be with someone. "W...Why did you come here?" She asked.

That is not your business..I told you my power yet you refused to tell me so why should I tell you?"-She said walking still.-

Zya looked at Tsu confused "You can't guess?" She asked confused.

I do not play games."-She said firmly.-

Its REALLY easy!" Zya insisted walking up beside Tsu.

Thats nice."-She said stopping.-"..It was..interesting meeting you."-She said closing her eyes.-"I suggest when we next meet you mind your manners."-She said disappearing.-

Zya looked around confused almost in a panic "Where did you go?!" She called out. She looked around again saddly "Hello?!" She called out then sitting saddly looking at the ground as her tail curled around her. She really didn't want Tsu to leave, she looked around her sorroundings nervously not moving.

-Tsu reappeared and sighed.-"Fine."-She said walking again.-"Be careful around here..there are hostile beings in this forest who constantly commit sins."

Zya jumped up to her feet nodding so much the flame tips on her antenna sparked all over. She quickly followed behind Tsu happly.

So Zya...Sheolii tells me she thinks your power has to do with flames."-Sheolii nodded smiling to Zya.-

Zya grinned happly "Yep, yep yep!" She said chuckling "I thought you wound guess it!"

Sheolii is sharper than me."-She said smiling big.-"Do you not have a friend with you?"

Zya's ears lowered her head shaking "No..." She muttered.

Well..We should find you a friend Sheolii found me."-She said smiling.-

Zya smiled happly "Thats would be really cool!"

I hope we find you someone on the way to the lake."-She said smiling.-

Zya grinned notting "Ya!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Zyask wandered quietly through a darkening part of the forest, the sun was starting to set as long shadows from the mountains grew. She had lost track on Tsu and was trying to find her again sighing. Her and her annoying daydreaming ended with her getting lost. She stopped and sat looking around as her tail curled around her lightly. Her wings twitched making the small fire balls at the tips... spark and crack quietly. "What now..." She muttered to herself looking up at the sky and closing her eyes as she begain to sing softly to herself.

Airi walked through the forest musing over the clan stones. They were proving a difficult object to steal, which of course just made it all the funner. But he had to be careful now, as Aditeya was now looking for confirmation of his presence in the forest. All would be well if he didn't talk as openly to others from now on, and she didn't ask Ouble... or the forest leaders... He looked up as he caught sight of purple light, spotting six odd orbs of purplish light up ahead. He felt his own flames dim as he tensed. Was it someone up ahead? Had they seen his purple flames?

Zya had been facing the other way and hadn't noticed anyone else near by as her mind wandered away from where she was and continued to sing to herself the flames sparking a little from her anntenna's as her tail twitched a little.

Airi crouched low as he sneaked closer to Zya, watching her as she sang. He smiled slihtly, she hadn't seen him, and now his flames were dulled, and didn't throw off much light at all. He continued to stalk closer to her, till there was only a bush between himself and her.

Zya's head swung back and forth slightly her eyes still closed, she was completly out of it with her singing and didn't notice anything around her any more.

Airi grinned as he watched. Waiting for her to finish, still silent, and content to wait in the shadows. As a thief, he was quite accustomed to standing still in wait for the perfect chance.

Zya finally stopped as she opened her eyes opening as she looked at the sky quietly her wings and tail twitching.

Airi stood silently, and clapped his hands, as his flames burst into a bright display of purple light. He was grinning, as his aqua green eyes watched her for reactions.

Far to the left of Airisaz, there was a faint rustle. If anyone was looking, they would have seen a curious sight, plants withering and dropping their leaves before their very eyes. This occured in a progressive nature, as though someone--or something--were approacheng.

Zya yelped in suprise as she jumped to her feet in shock turning around to find out who had scared her but ended up triping on her own tail falling back into her back.

Airi just grinned wider at her reaction, as he hopped/flew over the bush and landed in front of her, offering her a hand to get up. "You really do seem to distract yourself quite profoundly, I swear I could have robbed you blind and killed you without you being any wiser." He said in a gallant voice.

Zya looked up at him annoyed "And you shouldn't scare others like that!" She said as she got up on her own looking at Airi.

The rustiling grew nearer, then stopped. A particularly large gorse bush not far from them began to brown and then blacken, dropping its already sparse leaves.

Airi laughed, backing up as she stood without his help. "Why not? It's so much fun!" His eyes went to the dying bush then, blinking a few times in rapid succession. "Did that bush just up and die right in front of mine eyes?" He asked curiously.

Zya looked at him then the bush confused "How would I know? Wasn't paying attention" She muttered still upset about the scare.

True, you don't seem to pay attention to most anything, actually." He said distractedly, still staring at the bush.

There was a rustiling, and the brown patch moved forward again.

Zya watched confused ignoring Airi's coment as she walked over towards the bush "Is it suposto do that?" She asked.

Airi watched from a more prudent distance, as the patch of dying forest grew bigger, "Not sure, but it does seem to be spreading." He said idly, eyes piercing the shadows.

The rustling continued and a holly bush parted, finally revealing the mysterious source of plant-death as a deep green xweetok with unfriendly eyes stepped calmly out into the open. He gazed coolly at first Airisaz, then at Zyask. He didn't say anything, just stared.

Airi regarded the xweetok, and the deadened forest around it. "Wow, that looks quite unique and special." He said, with a lopsided grin, "How do you do it?"

Zya stopped looking at the other Xweetok quietly not really sure what to say.

Vosidion regarded the winged xweetok coldly. Outsider. "Unwillingly," he snarled. "Are you always this loud?"

Not really, usually I'm quite silent and sneaky, but surprising lone damsels in the night is a favorite passtime i just couldn't keep from practicing." He said gaily. "So, you can't control it then? What is it that kills nature you touch?"

Zya glared daggers back at Airi but then turned her atention back to Sid walking a little more towards him silently.

Poison." Vosidion glared venomously at him. What was this joker getting at? 'Surprising lone damsels?' What the hell was he on? It irritated Vosidion to have been woken by such a waste of time.

Oh, interesting, so like, you exude poison?" Airi continued, completely unaware of the other's glare... or not caring...

Vosidion narrowed his green eyes into slits. "Yes," he siad curtly. "Not too different from your FIRE." He was snarling now, wings rising as he bristled his fur.

Zya sat down not far from Sid watching him confused, she wasn't much more then a tail's length away now as her wings twitched a little the fire balls sparking a little.

Airi looked at his fiery tail. "Oh this..." He said, "Well I *can* control it, you know... I can choose it to be flamable or not, to be hot or not, and I can make it stop glowing as well, since light disrupts the stalking." He said chattily.

Vosidion ground his teeth. He couldn't tell if this outsider was a half-wit or just stupid. "Oh? Well, aren't you lucky." His voice dripped with sarcasm. "Move away now."

Zya watched him confused but she didn't actually move curious to what they where talking about but really had nothing herself to say.

Airi looked at him, then shrugged slightly, "Right you are, I suppose I *am* lucky." He looked at Zya, "Well where were we? AH yes, you were about to tell me your name!" He said, as if he'd just dismissed Vosidion and forgotten he was there.

Zya glared at Airi "Like I'm about to tell you my name?! NO WAY" She yelled glaring daggers at him. He hadn't said sorry or anything! Why would she tell him her name!

Airi blinked, then grinned slightly, "Ooh, a hard one..." He commented, "Well, I did compliment your singing just now, I thought we'd gotten off quite nicely, with me clapping at the end of your concerto, which I patiently heard." He commented, "It is only to put a finishing touch to hearing such a midnight masterpiece, to know the name of the composer!"

Zya didn't lighten up at all as she stuck her tounge out at him "Nope. You scared me" She said annoyed her wings twitching annoyed.

Vosidion raised his eyebrows. This guy sounded like Urleao...

Oh well, I apologize if I scared you too badly, meant no harm really." He said sincerely, taking a few steps towards Zya ith a slight bow, "I admit what first made me stalk... er, come to meet you was the purple flames, so like my own color."

Zya blinked a few times looking at him from head to tail, he did have purple flames, she hadn't noticed before. She still wasn't sure about him completly but sighed "O...ok..."

Airi smiled charmigly, eyes flickerfng to Sid for a second before going back to Zya, "So, now will you grace me with your name, or do I have to steal it from you?" He said slyly.

Steal...a name? He sounded more like Urleao with every passing second. Vosidion sat where he was, instantly killing the grasses beneath him. He did not notice--it was, after all, normal.

Well..." She muttered looking up "Nope" She said looking back down to him grinning "Why should I say mine? I don't even know yours"

Airi considered this, "Well true, but if I told you my name, then I'd have to kill you." he said with a grin, "Although I suppose that could be easily arranged, I'd just have to push you into the sour-face beside you."

Zya blinked confused, was this weirdo serious? "Ya right" She said chuckling guessing he was joking.

Vasidion gave him a narrow gaze, as though to inform Airisaz that he didn't think the joke was very funny.

Airi laughed, "And I do not know your name, so why would I tell you mine? It is a complicated situation, wouldn't you agree? If you will not give your name to a stranger, and I will not either, then who should take the first step?"

Well, You scared me so I say as a sorry you say your name first!" Zya suggested/

I will," Vosidion blurted, a growl in his voice. "If it will shut you both up."

Airi gave Zya a sly glance, then turned in mock surprise to Vosidion, "Oh you're still here!" he said i a suprised tone, "I thought you'd gone to kill off some more forest."

Zya looked towards Sid smiling "Well what is your name?" She asked.

Vosidion was almost shaking with rage at this point, but he kept his mouth shut. Jumping on the flaming xweetok would shut him up, yes, but it wouldn't be very productive, either. "Vosidion," he said tersely. "Vosidion FOLGRARIN."

Zya smiled "Well its nice to meet you Vosidion, I'm..." She stopped her sentence looking towards Airi "And whats your name?" She asked waiting for an answer.

Airi chuckled at Vosidion, "Oh you use sir-name? Never seen much use to them." He commented. He grinned widely as Zya almost said her own name. "My name... is wrapped in a veil of mystery, and better left unpronounced." He said with a flutter of his hand, "But for the sake of introductions, why don't we call me Sat?"

Zya shook her head "Nope You have to say your real name!"

Verbs make horrible names," Vosidion droned, though it was impossible to tell if he was joking or not.

Airi laughed aloud, "True, true, and if you must, my name is ... " he paused as if adding dramatic flair, as he thought of what to use, then grinned slightly, "Urleao! Travelling showman, at your service." He said with a bow.

Zya stopped blinking at him confused "Really?" She asked not sure weather to trust him or not.

Vosidion stood so quickly it was a wonder he didn't kill something. "URLEAO?" He exploded, pushing his face close to Airisaz's--at least by his own standards. "How do YOU know him!?" There was an ominous note in his voice.

Zya looked at the two confused but her gaze went to Airi "You lied?!!

Sid's eyes flicked to Zya and back to Airisaz. Quick on the uptake, at least.

Airi backd up a step, as Sid exploded. /Oh drats, the guy knows him..../ he thought with dismay. "Now that I look at you, your eye-markings do resemble his... what dreadful coincidence." He said with a small laugh, "Now, really though, I meant no harm, he's a good chap, and really is a showman." He said with a nod at Zya. "My own name is Drestal." He said finally, as if confessing a crime.

Vosidion narrowed his eyes. He wasn't inclined to trust this Outsider, but he did have to admit that Drstal sounded like an Outsider's name. "Better," he groused. He hadn't seen Urleao since Ul he'd left to find Ceranda....Ceranda. He felt himself bristling and the pool of browning grass spread around him.

Zya walked over to the two as she poked Airi "I don't know...You telling the truth?" She asked.

Airi grinned mischievously at her, "How would you ever be able to know if someone speaks the truth?" He said, "I could say anything, and you wouldn't be able to tell. Specially since we just met, and I still do not know your name."

Vosidion paused. Urleao would know. Especially if this guy actually knew him. Ul had an uncanny ability to tell when someone was lying.

Zya glared at Airi, no way...NO WAY was she going to tell this...creep her name! From the way he was talking...She bet he was lieing. She smirked a little bringing up her arm and quickly bringing it down hitting Airi hard on the head "I don't belive you!"

Vosidion blinked in surprise. That was....bizarre.

Airi winced visibly, "Ow..." He said, "You'd best be careful... my hair is a continuation of the flames that run down my back and tail, it could have been burning hot, and I wouldn't want you to get burned." He said, rubbing his head, messing up his already touseled hair. "Ok, so if I say my name is Ouble, would you believe me? Or how about Bell? Or Airi? Or perhaps Velemiir? I can choose a name you like better, or perhaps something simple, like Day, or Rob."

How about ideot?" Vosidion grouched, giving him a cold eye.

Zya say looking at him thinking and going over the names he listed trying to think of the one that fit him best "Um...Most of those...don't fit..." She muttered looking at Sid chuckling a little "Ya thats one might work but I like...Um...A...Airi?" She asked smiling her tail twitching.

Vosidion shook his head. "He looks more like a Bell than an Airi."

Na...Bell is to girlly" Zya said grinning.

Airi looked slightly hurt at Vosidion, "That one's not very nice, actually, since I do not look like the behind of anyone, and less of all the orifice." Then his tail twitched, he'd carefully pulled his own name in it, and she'd picked that one? "Well, whichever *I* said is fine, really, I'll respond to Bell or Airi."

Zya grinned "Ok then! Airi it is! But until you tell me your real name, I won't say mine!"

Vosidion gaped at him dumbly for a few seconds. No one had EVER talked to him like that. Then he shut his mouth quickly and tightly, saying only. "Bell, then" in a hostile tone.

Airi laughed, "You do realize you'll never really be sure even if I did tell you?" He said, "And I shall have to call you Firefly then, if you will not say yours."

Zya laughed a little "Ok I'll call you Airi and you can call me Firefly!" She said happly.

So, Firefly, what were you doing in the middle of nowhere singing to yourself?" Said Airi, as if renewing a conversation that had been interrupted.

Zya sighed "I just got to this forest really...I lost track of the Xweetok I met when I was coming here..."

Oh, I see, and where were you going?" Airi asked, "And why is it so important to meet up with this xweetok if you had just met her?"

No where...I just wandered around...and I don't know anyone else here...or know my way around...she was really nice too...So I thought I would follow her...But I got lost" Zya explained.

How do you loose sight of someone you're following? It can't be all too hard..." He said idly, as he eyed Vosidion with interest. "And if you feel the need to follow someone who is easier to follow you could follow Sid here, who leaves a very distinct trail."

Vosidion wished he had the liberty to spit at people. It would make showing his dislike a lot easier. Glaring did not seem to be working. The FANA had the sense to watch out when he glared...

Zya sighed "I kind of started day dreaming and when I came back she was gone..." She then giggled a little nodding "True"

I'm afraid I cannot permit you to follow myself, I do not let people whose names I do not know follow me in my stealthy plotting." He said with a grin, disregarding Vosidion's glare.

Zya chuckled "Well...I want to find Tsu anyways"

Airi nodded, "Well you could try searching for her by flying around, I suppose, although I'd probably wait till daybreakf or that, it's hard to spot people in the dark, unless they're making noises, or have bright purple flames, or kill the plants around them."

Sid twitched. He sorely wished he could cuff this buffoon over the head.

Zya laughed a little "Well Tsu should be able to see me with my flames...but I don't even know which direction she is in..."

or if she is looking for you." He said thoughtfully, "Perhaps she left you on purpose!"

Zya jumped a little looking at Airi in shock "N...no! She wouldn't...I..." She muttered getting quieter...Maybe she had...? Her tail curled around herself and her ears lowered saddly.

Vosidion couldn't help but feel better at seeing her distress. This place...these people took too much for granted. He hoped she really HAD been left on purpose.

You barely know her correct?" He said, "And you seem to fling her name with a lot less precauton than your own." He commented, "More the reason not to tell you my real name, don't you think? If you go then telling my name to absolute strangers."

Zya's head lowered more saddly as she closed her eyes trying to block them all out staying quiet.

-Tsu watched the three as they talked taking note on how they reacted to one another.Closing her eyes she took a deep breath,so much sin,she thought to herself.Walking forward she smiled to Zya.-"So this is where you wandered of to.."-She said smiling to Airi and Sid.-

Sid narrowed his eyes. Her fur was elaborate enough to be Fauna, and he didn't like the way she smiled at him.

Airi smiled brightly at her, "You're Tsu then?" He said, waving. "Seems you have finally decided not to abandon this poor, lonesome, easily frightened and lost girl."

Zya glared at Airi angerly, he was getting more and more annoying! She stood glaring at him "You be quiet!" She yelled hitting him hard as she could in the head again as her tail wraped around his one leg. If she got burnt, oh well!

Vosision gave her a dirty look. These people...why were they so careless and kind? It irritated him.

Oh so you know my name..I doubt you are willing to give your own.Afterall.."-She stopped looking to Sid.Turning to Zya she smiled bigger.-"Ready to be on our way?I found a place to sleep."-She said turning away from the males.-

Airi wasn't about to let himself fall twice for that, and Zya's hand choppd through thin air, her tail missing his leg as he jumped nimbly back. "Wohoah." he laughed, "No need to get angry there!"

Zya glared at him "W...why...WHY ARE YOU SO MEAN!" She yelled her voice breaking. What he had said had scared her, she had been left alone and forgotten before, she had been worryed it had happened again.

Vosidion stepped backwards hurriedly.

Zya.Control yourself.Don't play into his little childish games."-She said strenly not looking to Airi.-"If I left you I would have at least tell you before hand...I have no intention of leaving you.."-She said walking into the foilage.Sheolii peeked through between her wings and stuck her tongue out at Airi.-

Airi frowned, studying her. "It's not that bad being alone you know, and in this forest i've found company is easy to find in others, chance meetings like these are common place occurences." He said placatingly, "I didn't mean to hurt your feelins, really, I tend to be a bit quick-mouthed."

Vosidion watched her carefully, trying to determine if she was indeed Fauna or just another Outsider to be ignored.

Zya glared at Airi angerly as a few tears formed in her eyes "I hate you" She said before turning away and following Tsu.

Airi winced, as he looked at her back. "At least you found company while you waited for her..." He said weakly, shoulders sagging as he looked down, his fire dimming.

Vosidion watched Airisaz's reaction through half-lidded eyes. Oh, so the nuisance wasn reachable after all? On a deeper level, he too was cringing because he recognised that slump.

-Sheolii watched Airi and poked Tsu's head. She turned and looked to Sid.-"May I ask you a question?"She asked him,her eyes glowing for a moment. Her gaze shifted to Airi but she only shrugged it off in her mind and looked back to Sid.-

Vosidion narrowed his eyes at her suspiciously. "What is it?"

Zya noticed Tsu stop and sat waiting till she was ready but didn't look back at Airi "Some company..." She muttered angerly.

How many people have you killed?"-She asked blinking a few times. The markings on her torso seemed to move in waves as she looked at him.-

Vosidion recoiled like she'd slapped him in the face. His eyes flew open and his wings flared in shock. He took a step backwards. "Wha--HOW DARE YOU!" he snarled, anger quickly masking his shock and pain.

Air turned away from them, the picture of dejection, "Of course, it's all fine and well, to continue alone, and unaccompanied... all my life, a string of hate." He had taken two steps and froze as he heard Tsu. Still not moving hiself, his ears swiveled to hear.

That many.I thought so."-She said smiling as if she had won a battle in her mind.-"Okay Zya.If you wish we can leave."-She said turning to her.-

Zya didn't look at him, she didn't want to, what he had said to her...she just couldn't stand it. Besides she still didn't even know his real name. She then looked at Tsu nodding as she wiped away a few tears that had been in her eyes with her paw and she stood.

Vosidion stared at her in astonishment for a second, then lunged forward angrily. "Wait a damn second!"

Airi swiveled on one foot and looked at the two, slightly gaping. "...her name is Zya!" He said then, as if that was the only thing he'd heard.

-Tsu flipped back and cocked an eyebrow at Sid.-"...Can you not handle the truth?"-She asked hovering in the air for a second.-

Vosidion snarled up at her. "I want to know what you thin the truth IS and where you got it!" He flared his own wings, showing he was not unafraid to meet her in the air if she forced him.

Zya winched a little...great! Not this creep knew her name! She glansed back at him her face full of anger but she didn't move any more then that.

Airi offered her a conciliatory smile, and edged around the other two towards her. "I could tell you my real name, if you promised not to hate me?" He offered, "I can be quite a good friend, if you let me."

Zya blinked at him a little confused "How can I trust you" She asked nervously leaning away from him a little.

-Tsu landed and looked to Sid sorrow filling her eyes.-"You can't handle the fact that you kill people? And I can see it..even if my powers didn't allow it...you constantly push people away your body language gives that away along with your angry dispostion."-She said stepping closer to him.-

Airi stopped in front of her, then bowed his head a bit "It seems we haven't quite started our relationship on the right foot, so I propose we try again. If it makes you feel better, you can hit this buffoon on the head, no burning will hurt your hand, and if you think you cannot trust me you may use a stick." He said humbly, "Then we can start afresh, as if we'd just met."

Vosidion flared his wings menacingly as he stepped back, avoiding contact with her. Even Urleao didn't see what happened behind Vosidion's eyes. He snarled. "How well would YOU handle it?" he demanded. "I push people away BECAUSE they die!"

Zya watched him, her glare softened "Really?" She asked turning towards him.

Airi didn't look up, but nodded curtly, "I might have a headache later, but if it'll make you feel better for makng you feel bad, then go ahead."

Zya smirked as she brought up her arm like the first time she had hit him bringing it down hard but before it hit she stopped as she brought up her other paw poking him in the forehead and grinned.

....Just because your touch kills people doesn't give you the right to act like a child."-She said stepping closer, eyeing Zya for a moment she focused on Sid again.-"Does the thought of a friend scare you that much?Or is it..something else?"-She asked looking into his eyes.-

Airi cringed as he saw her hand go up, then felt her poke him. He looked up with one eye closed in mock surprise, "Is that all you're going to do?" He asked, with an uncertain voice.

Zya grinned a little "Yep" She said laughing a little.

Vosidion tried to stare back boldly, but had to break his gaze from hers with a snarl of frustration. "It's not your business!" he snarled, lashing his long tail.

He grinned, standing up straight, "Well, at least I got you laughing again, that's good." He said happily, then in a flash he was up close to her, his mouth up against her ear. "My real name is Airisaz, so you chose the correct nickname." he whispered to her, then backed up just as quick, a glint of mischief in his eyes.

Zya jumped a little when he got close but watched him in suprise "Really?" She said shocked.

...Your right...Its not."-With that said she turned away from him and walked over to Zya.-"I...must be going. Are you coming with?"

Vosidion turned away from her, a snarl etched into his features. He cast a holstile glance at Airisaz, as though daring him to ask.

He grinned, nodding. "You're very perceptive, to pick out my name from a series of false ones." He said. He looked down at the chain in his hand, "And you carry around the most interesting jewelery."

Zya looked at his hand confused seeing the chain then looking down at her wrist in shock "HEY!" She yelled grabing the chain back "THATS MINE!"

Airi could have jumpe away with the prize, but he offered it out to her as she snatched it back. "I just wanted to see it closer, what does the charm represent?" He asked, unruffled by her outburst.

Zya quickly wraped the chain back around her wrist "Its a music note..." She muttered.

-Tsu chuckled at the two.-"Zya.You can stay with him if you wish..."-She said smiling big,as she walked through the foilage more.-

Zya looked towards Tsu saddly not wanting her to go "Will you come back soon?" She asked.

He nodded, "So you like to sing, as I heard you at first." He said, "That is quite nice." He then looked at her, "Well, I suppose you'll want to leave with Tsu, here." He said, taking a step closer, "I'm sure she's better company." He offered her his other hand, a bracelet of iny purple gems in it, "Perhaps this might look good on you."

Zya looked at it in awe "Wow..." She picked up the bracelet amazed "Where did you get it?" She asked never seeing something so pretty.

He smiled enigmatically, "Somewhere where you'd be awed to be." He replied, "But I think it'd look best on you."

Zya grinned happly as she put it around her wrist with the other bracelets on it, but it stuck out greatly agenst the others, "Thank you" She said grinning.

-Tsu turned and looked to the bracelet. Looking to Airi then to Zya she shook her head eyes narrowing.-"If you accpet that.I will not allow you to travel with me."

Zya looked towards Tsu confused "Why not?" She asked saddly.

-Tsu glared to Airi and spread her wings.-"...Why would accept that sin as a gift?"-She asked her eyes narrowing-

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

~Recitation...~" A delicate paw glowed briefly as the burst of non-elemental magic traversed from it onto an innocent looking quill. The quill righted itself, and began tracing the words in an old tome. Aegis' ears twitched as he heard them whispered to him, thanking Sylphe once again for the spell. He reclined on the forest floor, intent on enjoying this solitude. Oranne had long since fallen into dreamland, and he wanted to make the most of her silence. As much as he adored her, she was a pest, plain and simple.

Near by silently another wandered through the forest. Zya looked around bored as usual this time losing track of someone and again getting lost. Her wings twitched a little the fire balls at the end of them sparking with the movment and the ones on the end of her antenna's bobbing up and down. She sighed quietly to herself, this forest was huge but she still didn't know her way around well enough.

Aegis paused the quill mid sentence, sniffing the air that the wind brought to him delicately. That smell...Fire?? He grabbed his oversized fan, hoisting it with little difficulty and strapping it on top of his cloak. He wasted no time feeling for his book and stuffing it back in the worn satchel he carried. "Oranne." he hissed, foot sliding on the soft soil to prod his sleeping petpet."Oranne!" "No master, I don't have the cheese scroll..." The white ona moaned sleepily, and received a tailswat to the face for her troubles,"Don't say stupid things Oranne..I smell a fire. I need you to be my eyes, or I won't be able to deal with it." His petpet instantly seemed more intent,"Fire?" "Yes, you nincompoop. Come on," He held out a hand to her, and she scrambled up onto his shoulder. Without another word, he dashed off, following his nose to the smell of the fire. He skidded to a halt, unsheathing his fan and snapping it open with a deft flick of his paws."Do you see it?" "...Master.." "What?" "...theres a weird xweetok..." "Eh?"

Zya didn't notice anyone near by as her bright yellow eyes gazing at the sky as she continued to walk.

She's on fire," Oranne's voice was puzzled. Aegis groaned."You're kidding, right?" "No..." How was he supposed to respond to that? Well...He'd better try to put her out, then...Wait a minute..He didn't smell anything burning. "You're seeing things," "Obviously, master!" Oranne retorted, looking at him stupidly, "I mean there's no way she's on fire. She's not burning. I can't--" After a moment, he smacked his forehead."Oh drat. Fire magic doesnt necessarily burn what it touches," he muttered. "Well...false alarm then..."

Zya still didn't notice anyone as she walked near by them her mind wandering as she continued to look at the clouds. A mutant Ona, that had been sleeping on her back, woke and looked over towards the other two hissing angerly as it stood its wings flaring out. Zya looked at the petpet confused "Whats wrong Demi?" She asked then looking towards what he was seeing another Xweetok "Oh...Hello"

WOW! another ona!" Oranne squealed."Are you alright? you don't look so good!" Ignoring the xweetok, she fluttered over to the other petpet,"What's your name? Mine's Oranne!" Aegis twitched as his petpet continued to chatter inanely."...Oranne...." he called, but was ignored."...SHUT UP YOU MUTANT CAREBEAR!" *THAT* surely got her attention. "I am NOT a carebear!" She squeaked indignantly. The wind mage rubbed his temples."Did it ever occur to you...That the petpet couldn't talk? Remember, you only can because of your cantrip." He commented with faux calm, tail lashing angrilly. "Oh..Oops." "Idiot.." Aegis growled softly."Sorry to have disturbed you." he retorted to Zya, hoping that he had bowed in the right direction.

As the two talked, another xweetok trotted through the woods. He had been inspecting the surrounding area, when he heard the shouts, and so had sneaked up to see what the fuss was about. As usual when sneaking, Airisaz has his fires dimmed to the minimum, his wings pressed against his back. He smiled widely as he spotted Zya, and inspected the other xweetok with interest. Specially that.. nice fan

Zya looked at the other Ona confused, a talking petpet?! She then looked towards the Xweetok confused at to what was going on. Demi glared angerly at the other Ona growling. Zya smiled "Oh thats ok, and no, Demi can't speak"

What did I tell you, idiot plushie?" Ona swelled with fury at the insult. "Well SORRY. I forgot!" "You'd forget your wings if they weren't attached." Aegis drawled.

Zya looked at the two confused, maybe it was a good thing...most petpet's didn't talk?

Again, sorry to disturb you. I smelled the fire, and.." Aegis shrugged helplessly, snapping his fan shut and slinging it over his shoulder,"I'm not too fond of fire.." he admitted sheepishly.

Airi continued to watch them silently, as he studied the situation. Zya still had the bracelet he'd given her, good. And she seemed to have lost her friend, Tsu... good. Then he blinked, 'smelled' Zya's fire? He backed up slightly. Could the kid smell his own fires or precense too for that matter?

Zya looked towards the Xweetok smiling "So, whats your name?" She asked happly. Demi glared at the other Ona climbing onto Zya's head and laying down again.

Master, we should get that petpet to the hospital! He looks really sick! Maybe he's got a new--" "It's probably a mutant Ona, from how you reacted. You always react that way when you see one." Aegis replied dismissively. "My name's Aegis, of Clan Aleruhn," Though he said it to Zya, actually turned in Airi's direction. Oranne, still miffed, didn't try to correct his position.

Zya grinned happly "I'm Zyask" She said happly looking at Oranne "Ya, Demi is a mutant Ona, but isn't he so cute?" She asked happly.

Nuuu," Oranne whined piteously, suddenly looking indignant on the mutant's behalf."He looks sick! Yo--" Quick as a whit, Aegis's tail zeroed in on his petpet and baffed her good, before she said something potentially insulting. He turned an innocent ear on her indignant look, still facing toward Airi.

Airi frowned slightly, the guy was looking in his direction, yes, but seemed to be trying to converse with Zya. A smile crept on his face, was this guy blind?? Well that was fun! He almost laughed aloud at Zya's oblivious chatter despite the other not looking in her direction.

Zya chuckled a little, she really did think Demi was cute, but he angerly jumped off of Zya's head right infrount of Oranne glaring angerly as he tryed to bite her.

Oranne yelped, and in response grabbed his cheeks with her chubby paws, pulling them. "That's not nice! what if I got hurt!" "...I think that was his intention, idiot plushie." Sightless milky eyes narrowed, and Aegis finally called out, "It's rude to spy on others."

Demi angerly rammed into Oranne again trying to bite her. Zya looked at Demi angerly "Come on now, stop that!"

Airi blinked, ah... well drats. So he wasn't that idiotic then. Airi grinned placidly, as he walked forward out of the shadows, his purple fiery stripe illuminating slightly, as he ruffled his feathery wings, causing sparks of purple flame to fly out to the ground. "Hello there Zya." He said with a grin at the female.

Its alright. She needs to learn to mind her manners anyhow." Aegis seemed wholely unconcerned at his petpets plight, despite her incredibly vocal distress. Without shifting, Aegis addressed then newcomer,"and you are?"

Airi." He said simply, regarding the xweetok's weird wings. "Who are you?"

Zya looked towards Airi happly grinning and running over to him "Hey Airi!!!" She said. Because she moved so fast Demi and Oranne both fell off her back and towards the ground. Demi used his wings to lightly land on the ground.

Airi grinned at Zya, "Nice to see you again, too. I see you finally kept the bracelet, and you seem to have lost your friend again."

Oranne, wasn't as lucky, and she tumbled, landing in an ungraceful heap. "Aegis Aleruhn." He replied shortly. His teeth clenched at the smell of the small fire, and slid out a small fan from inside his cloak. he snapped it open, and with a whoosh, a dabble of wind magic blew out the tiny flame like a candle. Satisfied, he snapped his fan shut and put it away.

Airi blinked as he saw this, then laughed, "You don't hav to worry, my flames won't burn anything unless I want them to, they're completely magical."

Zya looked at her wrist and the bracelet happly nodding "Yep and..." She sighed "Ya...I lost track of her again..." She muttered saddly her anntenna's and the fire balls on the end swishing back and forth. She then grinned "Oh! You havn't met..." She turned to look at her back confused "Where did he go...?" She asked confused not knowing they had fallen off her back.

Aegis twitched an ear at the girls obliviousness in mild horror. Egad...had he finally found..A Xweetok version of Oranne? The only evidence of his unease was the anxious switching of his tail. Oranne picked herself up, glaring at the mutant Ona. "Meanie." She hissed, pouting, and then fluttered up in front of Airi,"Hi! I'm Oranne!" She intoned cheerily. Aegis resisted the urge to drop his fan on her. It was very tempting.

Airi grinned at the small white ona, "Hello there, little chatter-box!" He said, "and who's the mutant horror?"

Demi glared angerly at Oranne and lifted himself off the ground with his large wings and flew over to Zya landing on her head and glaring at Airi Zya just smiled "This is Demi" She explained.

He looks sick, doesn't he? We should--" She was interrupted when a heavy fan was dropped on her head, dropping her."Leave it, Carebear reject." "That was mean, Master Aegis.." she whined. "And I'm NOT a carebear! I'm way cuter than they are!"

Airi burst out laughing, although he had no idea what a carebear was. "So I see." He said. He eyed Demi, nnoticing the glare. "I'd introduce my own petpet, but he's much too buys as always, and I'd hate to bother the little bugger. Besides, he's got a job to do."

Zya looked at Airi confused "What kind of job does a petpet have?" Demi looked at Zya then Airi able to see she knew this Xweetok he tuurned and flew off her head and bolted right at Oranne angerly trying to bite her again.

Airi watched Demi with amusement, "He's... my organizer, he keeps everything in my ah... collection clean and oragnized, and gets me whatever I need when I ask for it." He said, turning to her, "Like the bracelet."

Zya smiled "Oh I get it...I guess..." She said then nodding happly bringing her paw up "Yep its really nice, thank you for it" She said happly.

After a few moments of listening to the two petpets tousle, Aegis was getting perturbed. He slipped out his smaller fan, and pointed it at Demi. "Oi. That's enough. I'm the only one who gets to abuse her more than a little." Oranne had managed to wriggle free, and flew behind him, teary eyed,"Master Aegis, you're so kind!" "..I just didn't want to have to explain to Mother and Father the reason that you ended up needing treatment." "Stingy." Oranne pouted

Airi chuckled slightly, "Zya, you should probably keep Demi in check before he commits any petpet crimes." He commented, eyeung the fans. They were quite pretty, but he liked the big one better, it'd look very nice in his collection.

Demi glared at the two angerly but turned away flying back over to Zya and landing on her back laying down. Zya grinned "He won't do anything to bad. I just found him a while ago but he seems to like me huh?"

Though unable to see it, Aegis apparently felt the weight of Airi's stare."..Yes?" There was something unpleasurable about this guy, but Aegis couldn't put a paw on it. Almost...sneaky.

Airi blinked, very perceptive... "The fan you have is very nice, where did you get it?" He asked casually, stretching his wings behind him.

I made it, along with my two smaller ones. It was the rite of passage for journeyman mage status." Aegis responded blandly, gripping his larger fan fondly. Oranne peeked at Demi, and stuck out her tongue, pulling her eye in an obvious mock.

Zya looked at the two back and forth confused not seeing anything wrong or tense.

Oh I see." Airi's voice was nonchalant, but there was a gleeful glint to his eyes, unique then, just as he'd thought. His instincts had not yet failed in poinpointing unique items for his growing collection. "So you are a mage then... wind mage, and a blind one at that. Wiiith... heightened sense of smell, and , perhaps hearing?"

Indeed. Fancy that," Aegis gave a hint of a smirk,"It was prudent of me to link my fans to me, or else any good thief might be able to take advantage of my....unfortunate circumstances," He commented dryly.

Airi winced inwardly, oooh ouch. Very perceptive. He grinned. Good, he liked challenges. "Oh but I'm sure your other heightened senses would be more than enough to alert you of anyone trying to get at it, if your petpet didn't squeak before that." He said amiably.

Aegis grinned outright,"Perhaps. But be that as it may..It still is prudent of me to be cautious." Sly, buddy. Really sly. But he wasn't naive, in spite of what his parents would think. Oranne, in the meantime, had busied herself poking and prodding Airi.

Airi regarded Oranne with raised eyebrow, "Careful girl, the fires might burn." He cautioned her, the flames on his tail burning brighter as he said this. He sat down, at ease. This guy was proving to be fun to chat with. "I haven't seen you in the forest before, so I gather you aren't from it." he asked Aegis.

No. I live in a small town south of here." Aegis admitted."Oranne. Stop pestering him. I won't give you a healing potion if he burns you for being a nuisance." He retorted flatly, and his sometimes caretaker pouted, muttering something about never getting to have any fun before fluttering back to his side.

Zya looked between the two quietly as she sad down her wings twitching making the flames spark slightly.

Oh I see, well I'm not *from* the forest, although I'm calling it home for the time being." /or untill it becomes too dangerous/ he thought to himself. "But I doubt you've heard of my home."

is that so?" Aegis smiled absently, taking a deep breath."..I seem to have a good bit of luck of late...Two angels so close after one another." he murmured absently, and then blinked, frowning. "Though you act almost entirely differently than she.." he pondered quietly, -disallowed_word-who protested quite shrilly). He unclasped his fan, bringing it out in a ready position with a snap. His tail twitched. and the wind around him stirred restlessly.

Zya grinned happly then looking at the two confused "W...whats going on?" She asked confused her wings twitching a little.

Yes! Just as he'd hoped, now all he had to do was snatch the fan and fly away! He just grinned, watching Aegis. "You'll see...."

Oublessai exploded out of the foliage at the group, speckled brown wings burstinbg from his back as he did so, headed on a perfect track to collide marvellously with Aegis. "HA!"

Zya jumped back in suprise going around beside Airi "Who is that?!" She asked confused as Demi climbed to her head hissing at the new Xweetok.

Aegis swung his fan in a loose arc, pouring mana into it as he went. from it burst a gale blast of wind, pushing back savagely at the newcomer.

Airi just grinned, "A clown." He said, before flying towards Aegis's back, eyes on the fan, planning to duck around him and pull the fan out of the other's grasp.

Oublessai's face split into a wide grin and a sword materialised in his left, apparently made of the light that illuminated air around them. Allowing the wind to tumble him backwards, Oublessai swung around, bounding off the ground and launching himself high above them.

Zya looked at him confused "A...what?" She said watching him confused but didn't know what to do staying back.

Oranne wasn't as oblivious as she seemed, and quickly intercepted Airi with a neat full on tackle that would do a football player proud, sending the pair careening to the ground in a heap. "Che," Aegis growled, "and who might you be?" he called, his grip on his fan unrelenting as he readied it for another swing. "Waah, Airi's sofft!" Oranne squealed. Aegis's tail twitched.

Airi binked and grabed the petpet in both his paws as they tumbled, holding her out in front of him as they came to a stop. "Okay yeah, I forgot about the petpet." He muttered, looking at her. "So maybe I should take you instead." He grinned, keeping a firm grip on her.

Oublessai swooped overhead without answering, curling himself into a ball and dropping at high velocity, cannonballing right at Aegis. He called out as he dove. "OUBLESAIIIII!"

Zya watched him confused "A...Airi?!" She said confused going towards him "What are you doing?!"

Oranne blinked at him owlishly,"I'm sorry, Mr. Airi...But I belong to master Aegis." She retorted politely, and bit down on his paw, hard. Aegis felt the air moving, and sidestepped, letting Oublessai jet past him. He even gave a little 'love pat' with the butt of his fan to help the other along.

Oublessai didn't have time for love pats. As he passed Aegis he exploded back into a moving form again, swinging the wavy sword up and over, as though to decapitate the blind xweetok.

Airi yelped, but didn't let go, swatting Oranne with a suddenly very hot fiery tail, "Bad petpet!" He scowled at her. "Better do this fast, then." He said, as he opened a small portal and threw Oranne inside, quickly closing it after her.

Zya froze confused "A...AIRI!" She yelled in shock "What did you do?!"

Aegis paused,"One moment, please." he commented politely, and faced Airi. "...I would advise you to give her back" the air around him bucked as his grasp on his temper flared.

Oublessai didn't listen. "No time outs!" he called gaily, hopping up with a flap of his wings and dropping to land on Aegis' back.

Or Perhaps you'd like Adi to get more incentive to find you, hmm?" He was bluffing and he knew it, but Airi didn't. Aegis ignored Oublessai, avoiding his attack as he stepped closer to Airi

Airi jumped to his feet, "Sure, I just want the fan, not the petpet...." He scowled, he had lied earlier then, he *had* met Adi.... "I'm sure you can make anouther fan later."

Aegis snorted derisively, and halted, not paying attention to avoid the hit from Oublessai.

In another place entirely, a red, strawberry-looking mazzew was staring in surprise at a white ona. "What the *heck* are you doing here?" He asked in a slightly miffed voice.

Stupid mean Airi threw me in here, said he was gonna just take me," Oranne sulked.

Zya glared at Airi angerly getting infrount of him and right in his face "What is going on!" She yelled at him as her wings flared behind her angerly the flames on her wings and antennas started to heat up and spark more fueled by Zya's anger and confusion.

Oubessai took his chance when he saw it, pouncing to land on Aegis' back. He grabbed hold of the blind xweetok's ears, flapping his wings for balance.

Oh that's nice, and where am I supposed to place a talking white Ona? As if I have enough with talking inanimate objects, he thinks it'll be fun adding live petpets to his collection?" He said, crossing his short hands in front of himself. "You'd better not be here for very long."

..What....The...HELL!" Any pretense of holding his temper was gone, and wind exploded from around the angry wind mage in a furious cyclone. Aegis furthered his rage to temper the hiss of pain from hsi back by swinging his fan viciously back at his unwanted piggybacker.

Airi stepped back as his attention shifted to Zya. The situation was heating up.... He was happy to see Aegis otherwise occupied, but didn't like the look on Zya's face. "Nothing, nothing, Zya, we're just playing!"

Zya looked at him confused "But...Your lieing again!" She yelled "Where did Oranne go? And why did you go after Aegis even though he was the one getting attacked! Airi I don't understand!"

Oublessai was sent tumbling end over end, his wings flapping furiously in a bid to regain control. His grin was broader than ever. "Hey, not bad!" he called encouragingly to the wind mage, his eyes darting back and forth in an attempot to locate what he was here for. Surely it'd show after THAT display of power...

There was, by this time, a very interesting whiff of... something... hanging from Aegis's paw. It was an odd turquoise in color. Airi just grinned slightly at Zya, "Oh come on, Ouble's just playing!" He said reassuringly, "He'll probably stop very soon too." He said with a look at Ouble. "And Oranne's... er.. meeting Camane! He's my own petpet... you see?"

Oublessai's brown eyes lit up with delight,. "Perfect!" The sword dissolved raidly, replaced by a bottle that Oublessai literally pulled from nowhere. Running to gain momentum, he dove for Aegis.

Zya bit her lip not sure "But...Why did you say...Why do you want his fan. Its his not yours! And why didn't you just ask if Oranne wanted to meet your petpet! You threw her in there!"

Well she bit me, so I thought I'd get even with her." He said, ignoring the other question as his face lit up when he saw the bottle. "Yes!"

What in Sylphe's name is wrong with you!"Aegis snarled, and readied his fan, he quickly drew a casting circle around himself,"~This is a battle spell of the wind element; Battering gale,~ He intoned quickly, and thrust his fan forward. a force of wind so dense it could almost be seen shot out, screeching toward Oublessi.

Zya looked at Airi confused and worryed "But...Still what about his fan?"

Airi laughed slightly, then with a kick at the ground he flew over Zya and went in a tackle-dive towards his fan, which was busily pointed at Ouble.

Oublessai dove for the ground as the wind blasted towards him, catching his wings as he retracted them. An explosion of brown and white feathers obscured him briefly. He looked put out. "Hey! Not so hard!" he complained.

Camane was glaring at Oranne indignanlyt, "So, you just gonna sit there and sulk? What's your name, at least?"

YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT WHEN YOU PULLED MY EARS!" Aegis snarled, whipping around and clubbing Airi in the face. there was a little aftereffect of his last spell, giving the blow a *bit* more bite. "Oranne. You?" Instantly distracted, she regarded Camane curiously.

Zya watched in fear shaking her head not understanding any of this "Airi stop this! Why are you doing this!" She yelled towards him.

Oublessai messeded up his face in a frown as he hopped up and bounded up after him, swinging the bottle at his opponent's paw in a half-fall, half-dive.

Airi felt stars explode in his vision, but he imemdiately clamped all foru paws around the fan, and flapped with his wings as he swatted a heated tail at Aegis, flames sparking brightly. "Camane, the much abused and lone Mazzew." He said with a dramatic sigh. "They really should let us talking petpets choose owners, and not the other way around..."

I don't mind Master Aegis, truthfully." Oranne shrugged,"though he is a bit dumb." Aegis growled, but instead of trying to pull back, he pushed forward, jumping up as high as he could and catching Airi again in the gut. He ignored the sting of the burning tail, and the bottle that was sailing towards him.

Oublessai somersaulted past, corked the bottle quickly, and looked eagerly inside as he righted himself to make sure he didn't need a second go. He hated missing.

Camane laughed, "Airi is just too reckless. He's probably grappling with your owner right about now, unless your owner's not good at holding his own items."

Oranne grimaced."Master Aegis...is stubborn. And a bit mean, when he loses his temper."

Airi made an oofing sound, and finally let go of the fan, flying higher as he scowled. "Oh come on!" He said, as his eye turned to look at Ouble and the not-so-empty bottle. The distraction was over, he'd have to give up. He sighed in disappointment, as he flew down to the ground, sitting down and rubbing his face. That was gonna sting in the morning... Camane snickered, "Then here's to hoping Airi doesn't get whooped, oe we're both trapped in here for all eternity."

Zya looked at the three males confused not understanding any of this as she looked towards Airi silently and not moving.

Oublessai was peering happily into the bottle, memorizing the details of the essence as he folded his wings away. He was totally oblivious to Airisaz's defeat.

Aegis growled,"I really hope you're going to give oranne back. I'll REALLY lose my temper if you make me get her myself.." /I don't many uses of that left, and it drains my mana too much. I doubt i'd be able to cast for a few hours if I activated it.../ Oranne winced,"I guess we'll be here a while..." she muttered, and then produced a deck of neo cards."do you play?"

Camane looked at the cards, "Er... I've had no one to play with in ages..." He grinned, pointing to a small, petpet-sized table and chairs, "But I'm willing to learn!"

Oranne giggled happily, and began explaining the ins and outs of the game. she even was gracious enough to help him build a deck with her spare cards. After all, she had a hoarde of them.

Airi sighed, regarding Aegis, "Oh shush, already, she's probably either having fun or brawling. It depends... personally, I think she'd get along with Camane, so she's probably fine." He replied, "And you ca't get her back, she's not on Neopia."

Aegis shrugged gloomily, and tugged at the feather around his neck. "you'd be surprised." he muttered.

Zya looked at Airi walking over towards him "I want to know what is going on...NOW!" She yelled at him confused sitting down infrount of him angerly a glare covering her face.

Airi looked at the feather, "An angel feather? How quaint." His eyes traveled down to Zya's scowling face. "Oh just ... er... testing each other out in a friendly brawl." He saaid with a smile, he looked over at Ouble, "Let me seeeeee!" He whined at him.

Oublessai tucked the seesence into his stash and turned around. He seemed surprised that they were still there. At Zyasks's outburst, he turned to her and frowned slightly. "No," he told Airisaz. "You'll take it again."

Airi pouted, "I alerady promised you I wouldn't!" He whined.

Neither is randomly attacking someone without a so much as a how-do-you do." Aegis grunted." OH come on, I'm blind and even I can see that's a lie!"

Zya glared angerly at Airi "I don't belive you!" She yelled still. Demi was now on her head again hissing at Airi able to sense Zya's anger.

Oranne made a face,"I just hope he doesn't use *that* spell." she muttered, before returning to her tutorial.

Camane was a quick learner, and he was very happy with the new companion. "What spell?"

Oh, fine," Oublessai reached into nowhere and fumbled around for a second, eventually producing the turquise essence. "It's pretty nice," he commented, pleased.

He knows one light spell, despite light not being his element. 'Familiar invocation'. He can call me back, but it'd drain him. Hurt him, too, probably.

Airi sighed with exhasperation, "I'm not lieing!" He jumped to his feet and walked over to Ouble, inspecting the essence, hands behind his back in a token of 'I'm not stealing it'. "Oh nice, it *is* pretty." He said, completely ignoring the two fuming xweetoks.

Oranne shrugged. Aegis frowned,"What *is* it anyway?" he queried, a trifle irritably./these guys aren't even out of breath! I used most of my mana from this!/ he thought to himself, appalled.

Camane scrunched his nose, "Sounds pretty bad. I doubt Airi'll keep you in here too long, if he ca't get what he wants, he'll ask us both out and insist he was just stashing you in here to meet me."

I know, it was worth the effort." Oublessai tucked it back into his stash. He'd spend tonight reorganizing his entire collection. He used to do it at least once a week, but he'd been so busy acquiring new ones that he simply hadn't had the time. He turned to the wind mage. "They're essences," he said simply, as though that explained everything.

Zya glared watching Airi, she hated he was lieing to her *again!* Demi hissed angerly still at Airi as Zya patted him on the head *Its ok really...I guess he just doesn't like me...* She thought. Demi stopped hising and looked at Zya then at Airi glaring at him angerly.

/Well, that was helpful,/Aegis thought to himself sarcastically. Slowly, he regained his breath. One bonus of being an air mage, was you got your second wind quickly. Literally. "Oh," Oranne frowned a bit. "Why's he so obsessed with Master Aegis's focus anyway? It's not like it would work for anyone but him anyway."

Airi waved his hand opening the portal to his own stash, and poked his head inside, grinning at the two petpets, "You guys getting along?" He asked them, tail flickering idly behind him.

Oranne tilted her head at him"Of course we are! I taught him how to play neo cards!" Insert big, ditzy grin.

Camane laughed, "He never uses anything he steals, it's just his colle..." He turned to look at Airi, "Fine, thanks, I wouldn't mid the company actually, so you can go ahead and steal her, I'm fine."

Oublessai looked at Zyask curiously. "Say, that's a fairly noisy growth you've got there," he said, referring to her petpet. "Have you thought of getting it removed?"

...I'm okay with you stealing me, if you steal master Aegis too." Oranne declared,"he's a tough cookie at this card game, but I think he cheats. It'll keep us on our toes."

Airi laughed, "Thought so, but... I think Aegis doesn't approve." He said, "Said something of getting you back anyways." He considered Oranne's words, then shook his head, "No, I don't feel like adding a blind wind mage to my collection, he'd mess up the stash, and Camane would hate that."

Zya looked towards Oublessai confused "What are you talking about?" She then looked up at Demi remaining silent for a second then looking back at Oublessai "Oh...You met Demi right?" She asked. Demi looked at Oublessai silently.

Oublessai regarded the apparent tumour quietly. "You've named it, how odd. To each their own, I suppose." He shrugged. "Say, that thing looks faily like an Ona!"

Ah nuts," Oranne pouted."Would it help if I promised he'd be on his best behavior?"

Zya blinked confused "What did you think he was?" She asked as Demi stood and flew over towards Oublessai.

Airi considered, "Hum..." He stuck his head out and looked at Aegis, then stuck his head back inside. "You know, maybe I could, I'd get th fan that way, and wouldn't have to worry about him knowing about myself." He said with a grin.

Aegis scowled deeply. Of course, Oranne would want to stay with a new friend.

A very unfortunate growth," Oublessai said, patting the petpet with caution. "Does he bite? He's kind of cute." His ear twitched, overhearing Airisaz. "Oh, don't. Whole people are too hard to hold."

Demi looked at Oublessai quietly cocking his head and standing where he was. Zya grinned "Only if you get him mad. He is cute isn't he?" She asked happly.

Airi turned to Ouble, "True, and he could steal from me... can't have someone stealing from me, it just wouldn't do..." He sighed shaking his head. "Well, how's this, Camane can come out for a while, or you can go visit him whenever you like?"

Aegis snorted, and Oranne hugged Camane,"Can he really come out with us?" she blinked impossibly big, cute eyes at Airi.

He has a certain charm," Oublessai said, smiling at her. "You know, I never knew Airisaz had a sister."

Airi grinend, "Yeah, but just for a while." Camane jumped up and beamed, "Oh yeah!" He ran towards Airi, who lifted him out and placed the stawberry petpet on the ground, then turned back, and held a hand out for Oranne, "Can't leave if it's not holding my hand, so come on."

Oranne nodded, and grasped his hand tightly, humming a chipper tune.

Airi fell forward, toppling onto Oranne slightly, before regaining his balance, and pulling he petpet out of his stash, the portal closing behind them. He put her down beside Camane who had a wide grin, and turned to look at Oubl ewith wide eyes.

Oranne scurried over to Aegis, dragging Camane with her, and beamed at him."Master Aegis! This is Camane." Aegis paused for a long moment, "It's nice to meet you, Camane." He greeted softly, even though his head wasn't turned toward the petpet.

Zya laughed happly "No!" She said grinning "I'm not Airi's sister, I just met him not to long ago!" She said happly.

Oh!" Oublessai didn't seem at all embarassed. "You have the same fire, you know," he said. He flicked his tail tip cheerfully. "You know, I bet you have a very nice essence. You're certainly bright enough."

Camane looked at Aegis, "SO you really *are* blind??" He asked, "Woah..." He grinned at Oranne, "This is amazing, I'm glad Airi tossed you inside, I haven't been out of that dimension in years!" he said, looking around at the trees and bushes with fascination. "Hey, we're not in Valhalla are we!"

Zya nodded "Yes I know..." She looked at him confused "Whats an essence?"

Airi blinked, "Uh....." He stepped forward, "I dunno if that'd be wise, Ouble, really, she's uh, you know, a girl and all, not very poilte to attack girls."

No..I just thought it would be fun and polite not to look at you when I'm talking," Aegis cut in dryly, And oranne elbowed him roughly,"Be nice."

Camane was circling Aegis, and he looked at the large fan, "Oooh, so that's what he wanted.. it'd look pretty, I know just the spot for it too!" Airi shot the petpet a dark look, but said nothing.

Oh, it's really interesting!" Oublessai's face lit up and he leaned forward ever so slightly. "You see, everyone's soul has this tiny part that's part of it but not really atached, and it comes loose when you use magic or get really emotional--like when you fight!" His eyes had lit up, too, he was visibly more lively. "They're very beautiful--and very rare," he said, his face somber. "Every person has only one." He paid no mind to Airisaz's words.

Aegis growled softly at the petpet,"Sorry, but you'll have to make your own. I'm quite partial to this, and won't easily part with it. As your owner could attest to," he added, with a slightly smug look. Oranne snickered.

Zya looked at Oublessai with more intrest not hearing Airi "That sounds so cool!"

Camane didn't seem offended or worried by this. "Oh well, once he eyes soemthing he likes, he's not that easily deterred." He commented, patting the fan. "If I were you, I'd keep a sharp watch on it." Airi turned to Camane, "Time's UP!" He said with a frown. Caman flinched, looking over at him, "NO FAIR!"

It is," Oublessai agreed seriously. "So I think you'll understand when I I want yours!" In another sudden attitude turn-about, the light-made sword rematerialised in his hand and he dove for Zyask, intent on his task.

Zya yelped confused as she quickly moved away from Oublessai in shock "What are you doing?!"

Yeah, no fair!" Oranne yelped, glaring at Airi,"If you bring him back there already...I'll...I'll bite your tail!" "*Enough*, Oranne." Aegis snapped

Oublessai bounded after her, swinging his sword as though it had no weight--which to him it didn't. It was all protons. "Collecting!" he informed her cheerfully.

Airi glared at Oranne, and put his flaming tail in front of her, "Go ahead." He said with a grin. Camane pouted, "Oh come on, it's the first time in ten years I don't have to look at the bleak interior! Lemme enjoy the green! and the trees! And the *living organisms*!"

Zya quickly dodged him again as her wings lifted her off the ground and into the air, Demi had flow back onto her hissing angerly at Oublessai.

...If you let him stay out a while..."Aegis began slowly,"...I'll make you your *OWN* fan. unique to you, for your collection." He offered slowly, a set expression on his face. Oranne gaped at her master,"Master Aegis..."

Oublessai spread his six speckled wings. "You wanna make a cahse of it?" He seemed honestly delighted with the idea. "Okay!" He sprang upwards, followeing her into the air.

Airi stopped short. He looked up at Aegis, "You *would*?" He asked, srprised and pelased at the idea, although the concept of a free item, or a gift, was altogether alien to him.

..Yes. But, in return, you have to let Camane stay out for..more than a month." Aegis affirmed.

Zya spead up more scared then dove down into the trees going around different ones trying to lose Oublessai. She didn't know how to defend herself really and only knew to run.

And...you'll need to give me a day's rest, to recover the mana required to scribe it." he added, grimacing as his back chose to remind him that his wings hurt still.

Airi blinked, and looked down at Camane, who stood with pleading petpet eyes looking back. He then regarded Oranne, and back at Camane. "Well, i suppose since I haven't been adding to the collection lately..."

Oranne squee'ed, and hugged Airi around the leg,"Thankyou Mr. Airi! I take it back! you're not an obnoxious little fire-farter!"

Oublesai spread his wings, then tightened his wings against his body, speeding after her. He plunged through the treees with no heed to the branches or her alarm. All the world was his oyster, and all life was his game to play. He laughed in delight.

Aegis blinked."...Oranne...You never said that." "Oh. Oops." "..Idiot."

Airi grinned finally, "Yeah yeah, I'm such a good guy." He said, then looked down at Oranne, "Fire-farter?" He burst out laughing, his fires bursting up as well. Camane danced happily and higged Aegis in return, "Thanks, mister!"

Demi glared seeing Oublessai catching up as he jumped off of Zya's back and landed on Oublessai's head hissing at him angerly.

Aegis nodded, patting Camane awkwardly and looking mildly uncertain of how to respond to such a random burst of affection not from Oranne.

Oublessai looked up at the Ona and grinned. "Hello!" He called, weaving through the trees in hot pursuit.

Airi looked around again, noticing two absentees. "Oh drats... he must be after her essence..." He said as his fired deflated slightly, "I should probably stop him...."

Demi hissed as he climbed down Oublessai's back then hissed again before spitting at his wings, on contact the saliva burned like acid.

Ow! Hey!" Oublessai did a hasty barrel roll, spinning through the trees, shedding feathers, acid, and Ona as he did so. "That wasn't nice!" he called back.

Then again, he won't really hurt her... I think..." Airi commented, as Camane danced around Aegis happily.

Demi lost balance falling off but quickly regained balance with his wings hissing at Oublessai angerly and flying after him. Zya quickly dove down into the bushes to hide while Oublessai was preocupyed with Demi.

Oublessai shot past her, eyes on the Ona. "You're pretty feisty, I wonder if you have an essence as well!" He arced over a large branch and flew back, putting himself on a collision course with the little creature.

Demi glared angerly at Oublessai spitting towards his face and right before they made contact he shot up into the thick bushes of the trees.

ACKPTHH!" Blinded, the blue xweetok plowed headfirst into a leafy bush and skidded to a halt in the dirt. "OW!" He turned quickly, a frown of determination. "That's it, no more mister nice seraph!" With that he leapt up, beat his wings, and was off like a shot after the acid-spitting petpet.

You think," Aegis muttered dryly, smirking a little as he listened to the petpet dance. Shortly after, Oranne joined him, and the pair jigged around the stationary mage. Aegis hid a fond smile.

Demi easly flew through the thickest parts of the branches, something a regular sized Xweetok would have a large amount of problems in. Zya came out from her hiding spot quietly begining to go back towards Airi.

Airi watched the two thoughtfully, "Well, he hasn't really hurt anyone, and I've seen him collect three essences so far, including my very own." He said, "It's how I met him, you see, although it was his brother that made it appear. He's from Valhalla too, you know?" He said chattily.

Oublessai was forced to weave out and around the branches, putting him behind. "That's not fair!" he complained, putting on an extra burst of speed in an attempt to catch up.

Demi stayed hidden in the thickest branches landing on one and closing his eyes remaining silent.

As an Angel, I kinda figured,"Aegis admitted softly, listening to the sounds of the scuffle.

Oublessai slowed after a second, realising something was up. He slowly backtrached, circling over the cluster of branches where he'd last seen the acidic petpet. "Come out, wherever you are~" he sang. "I'm not gonna hurt you~"

Airi laughed, "He's a Seraph, not an Angel. He's a lot more powerful, and faster, than an Angel." He knew this first-hand too... "Not to mention he has two more pairs of wings..."

Demi heared him as he turned spitting in the direction as a warning, now he was just byeing time as he hissed again angerly.

Aegis nodded slightly, finally heaving a sigh and removing his cape, fully revealing his rather gruesome wings.

Oublessai heard the hiss--both of the acid and of the petpet. "Gotcha!" he cried triumphantly, settling on a branch like an oversized bird. "Come on out..." He reached down through the branches toward the Ona.

Demi jumped back a few branches spitting at Oublessai's paws.

Airi blinked, "Woah, what happened to them?" He asked in surprise, openly staring. Camane had stopped dancing to look at the wings too.

Oublessai withdrew his hand quickly. "Hey!" he exclaimed crossly. "I *said* I wouldn't hurt you!" He flicked his tailtip in agitation.

Potion. Stupid author left out vital information, and they formed wrong." Aegis returned bluntly, and oranne fell into his lap.

Camane walked up and poked at the wings, wincing slightly. Airi hummed, thoughtful, "So they were produced with magic? There should be a magical way to remove them then."

Zya stopped for a second quite a ways away from Oublessai now as she closed her eyes for a second unmoving then continued towards Airi not far off now. Demi, stopped for a minute before quickly shotting out of the tree silently on the oposite said that Oublessai was on towards Zya.

Potions are trickier than spellcasting. I went in that direction because it was said to be LESS likely to mess up." Aegis didn't look happy to admit that he had messed up something that was supposed to be hard to.

Wha--!" Oublessai was briefly left off balance, but he quickly regained his sense and darted after the fleeing petpet. "Come baaaaaack!" He wailed the plea as he followed the Ona back to its master.

Zya quickly hid in the bushes again and a few seconds later Demi darted by towards Airi soon seeing him as he flew behind the Xweetok.

Airi nodded, "Yes, but the botching of a potion usually has worse effects than those of a spell." He said dryly, "Which is why I keep away from them." He added. Camane looked thoughtful, "Hey Airi, what if you use the Gem of Po..." "NO" Airi shouted, interrupting the petpet, that winced, and hid behind Aegis.

Oublessai came barrelling into the group a few seconds later, knocking into Airisaz and flipping end over end into the shrubbery. Oublessai came barrelling into the group a few seconds later, knocking into Airisaz and flipping end over end into the shrubbery. "...whoa."

Demi flew out of the way before he got plowed into and quickly flew back towards Zya who came into view smiling at Demi silently.

Aegis didn't have an answer for that. He blinked, instinctively wincing at the sound of body hitting body. "...How graceful.." He intoned softly.

Airi was caught by surprise, having been busy with Camane's suggestion, and he spluttered as he fell into the shrub. "Ack, Ouble, you already *have* my essence, now get off me!"

I was trying to find out if petpets had them," the seraph whined, picking twigs from his ears. "Now where'd the little devil go?"

Oranne pouted, suddenly interested in the conversation, and stamped over to the seraph." Don't be a bully!" She chided, and reached up, plucking a feather from his wing sharply.

Oublessai looked surprised and offended. "Give that back!" he said, plucking it back from the petpet's grasp. "Get your own!"

Airi picked himself up, dusting the twigs from his mane, and ruff.. "OW" He twisted around, regarding his oddly bent wing. "Oh..." He said, sudddenly depressed, "Now you've gone and done it, Ouble, you broke my wing!" He whined.

Zya looked at Airi worryed as she ran over to him "Are you ok?"

Mean!" She hopped up, and plucked another, and then tickled his sides with it. She yelped as she was pulled back, dropping the feather."Stop making trouble, Carebear mutant," Aegis grunted, still tired despite himself.

Oh, really?" Oublessai looked over mildly. "Oh, so I did. That looks painful." His tone was bland and not at all sorry.

Airi sat down heavily, as he grabbed his iwng, pulling it into shape again with a loud cracking sound, followed instantly with "AAAUGH!" in reply to Zya's question.

Oublessai closed one eye in a wince. "That sounded very nice," he said, dryly. He reflexively retracted his own wings so that airisaz coudldn't break them.

Zya jumped back worryed as Demi landed on her head "I'm sorry! You where hurt cause Demi hid behind you!"

Camane winced and shivered as he heard the yell, walking up behind Aegis. He hadn't seen Airi hurt in... well, ages!

Aegis scuffled in his satchel briefly, and prodded Oranne finally. "find me the healing potion twenty." "But you were saving that for--" "Just do it." Oranne nodded mutely, and placed it in his hand. He fumbled over to Airi, too tied to read the wind, and stretched his hand out."Its not much, but it should help a bit.." He deliberately kept his head turned away.

Airi gave a pathetic smile towards Zya, "My own fault for not seeing the big loaf.." He said referring to Ouble. He shot the seraph a dark look, "And you owe me one, mister..." He blinked at Aegis, regarding the bottle in surprise, "Oh... thanks." He said, taking the bottle and gulping it down. He felt most of the pain go away quite quickly.
