Applications

Q. Can I do a pet page application?

A.

Yes, but remember, we look for the best home for all of our pets, and making a pet page application does not guarantee that you will adopt the pet - you must be an all around great person to adopt from us.

Q. Can I trade the pet I am applying for?

A.

Absolutely NOT! We want all of our pets to go to permanent homes. If you even consider lending a pet for avvies/trading/pounding - your application will be automatically DENIED. If you are planning to do this, please don't bother applying.

Q. What if I realize I don't want the pet after I get him/her?

A.

If you don't want the pet or you just can't take care of it - please notify one of us ASAP. Do NOT put the pet in the pound!!! Please send the pet back to us with the toy, petpet, wearable, background, etc. it came with. If we catch you trying to scam us, we will report you!

Q. Can I PPPLLLEEAAASSSEEE have ____????

Well, what do you think the answer is to that question? If you cant make a somewhat decent application, you wont get the pet.

Q. Cn i tlk lyk dis?

A.

No, we don't like this n00bish talk.. It hurts our eyes and can be reportable. We don't want our pets to be on frozen accounts. People who talk like that on the boards get frozen for spamming all the time. We want our pets in a safe, un-n00bish home.

Q. Would you mind if I used smileys in my application?

A.

No, not at all. We get applications with smileys all the time - feel free to show your emotions and express yourself!=D

Q. I really want to adopt one of your pets, but I don't meet the requirements!

A.

Well, try to meet our requirements if you want a pet that bad. If you want it, work for it. If you still can't get there, neomail littlemissyhissi and we may be able to work something out.

Q. I applied for a pet, but I got rejected. Can I apply again?

A.

Yes, but not on the same pet. On deadline day, (for only some pets) ALL applications must be in if you want a chance to adopt a pet. On the day after the deadline, we go through all applications and do a background check - if you pass and your application is accepted, you will get a neomail saying so, same with being declined.

Q. When is the Application Deadline? And when will I know if my application has been accepted/denied?

A.

It is most likely to be two to three days before the 1st of the next month. We will neomail you the day after deadline day and tell you.

Q. What is a background check?

A.

A background check is when we look at your account and see if it is to our requirements. We look at; pet happiness, pet hunger, pet sickness, account age, shops, galleries, pet pages, trades, and any other accounts

Q. Why do you do background checks?

A.

Because we want our pets to go to the best home! We look at shops, galleries, pet pages, and trades to see if there is anything that could be reportable. We don't want our pets to be on a frozen account.

Q. I want a painted pet/LE pet but my account is under 4 months, can I still adopt?

A.

Yes, we can keep the pet on our account until your old enough. And don't worry, after we pick a new owner, we don't accept any other applications on that pet.

Q.. How much do the pets cost?

A.

All pets are free! It is against the rules to sell/trade pets for np, items, etc

Q. Is there a waiting list?

A.

Yes, if we have multiple pets with accepted applications, there will be a wait (one transfer per month) We'll tell you which month we can transfer to you. Please be patient. If you really want the pet, you'll wait.

Q. Do all pets come with petpets?

A.

No, not all pets come with petpets, due to funds, but we try to have all pets come with something. They may come with a toy, petpet, wearable, background, etc. But if you ask for a item to come with a pet, we consider it as a possible scam, and your application will be automatically DENIED.

Q. I want to apply on a pet, who do I neomail?

A.

Neomail the owner of the pet you want. If you send a neomail to a person who doesn't own that pet - you will be told to copy the application and neomail the foster owner.

Q. What should I include in my application?

A.

We have 3 questions that the answers MUST be in the application; Why you want the pet, Future plans for that pet, and Why we should pick you. Please have at least 3 sentences in your applications.

Q. Do you keep track of pets you already adopted out?

A.

Yes, we look to see if they are hungry, sad, or sick. We also make sure nothing is reportable. If we see something, we will send you a neomail asking you to fix it.

Q. I may have to be off of neopets for a while, is that ok?

A.

We all have a life in the real world. If you have an accepted application and know you will be away, please tell us! If you have been away for 30 days or more, the pet you applied for will go back up for adoption.

Q. Do you list pets outside of your agency?

A.

No, first of all, our coding gets messed up sometimes. Second of all, its a pain to keep track of all the other pets. So please don't ask.

Q. I want a pet, but I already have 4. Can I transfer one of my pets to you?

A.

NO! If you don't have room for a pet, but you want to get another and your willing to get rid of one of your own, you will not be getting that pet. Cause who knows if you find another pet and you want to give up the one we let you adopt from us.

Q. You have one of my pets! Give it back!

A.

FYI, we adopt ALL of our pets from the pound. The pound is fair game and if you lost a pet doing a pound transfer, your fault. There is a safe transfer option. I've seen this happen all the time - mostly because someone painted a basic pet a nice color and they want it. If we interrupted a pound transfer, we'll give it back only if you have proof (screenies, time in neolodge, etc). If you don't have proof, you will have to make an application for the pet and see if we accept it.

Q. Why didn't you give me my pet back? I applied for it!

A.

Because we found a better home for it. Now don't think that you can go on and neomail the new owner to give it back. We will warn the new owner of the pet saying that there has been a person claiming the pet to be theirs. If you keep neomailing the new owner asking to give it back, you will be reported for harassment.

Joining The Agency

Q. I want to join your agency. Do you have any requirements?

A.

Thanks for showing interest in the agency! We do have some requirements. To prevent any confusion, please have your account clear of any pets you want to keep (its best if you make a side account just to foster pets). Please neomail Littlemissyhissi if you want to join. She will help you with becoming a member and answer any questions about joining. After that you will receive a New Member Info Packet from Hyppichica94. This packet is full of stuff you need to know, and has links to our newsletter, guild, UFA pet list, and FAQ. It also has forms for applications and adding a new pet to the agency.

Q. I'm new to the agency, and I still have some questions. Who do I contact?

A.

Contact Hyppichica94 or Littlemissyhissi. They are always there to help.

Donations

Q. I want to donate, what should I do?

A.

This is where people try to scam. If you want to donate money Hyppichica94 is the ONLY account that has a donation shop - no one else! If you want to donate Items, toys, petpets, cures, etc - please send to our agency's Treasurer, Hyppichica94. We don't beg for donations or tell people that if you donate, you get a better chance on adopting a pet. If anyone tells you that, report them and tell us immediately!

Q. Why cant other people have shops for your agency?

A.

Because people may try to scam. Only Hyppichica94 can have a shop and handle donations due to that reason.
