The Warrior Code
|*|NOTE: This is from River of Stars and Erin Hunter.
Defend your Clan, even with your life. You may have friendships with cats from other Clans, but your loyalty must remain to your Clan.
Do not hunt or trespass on another Clan's territory.
Elders and kits must be fed before apprentices and warriors.
Prey is killed only to be eaten. Give thanks to StarClan for it's life.
No warrior may neglect a kit in pain or in danger, even if that kit is from another clan.
An honorable warrior does not need to kill other cats to win his or her battles, unless they are outside the warrior code or it is necessary for self defense.
A warrior rejects the soft life of a kittypet.
*Above were taken from Erin Hunter's book Code of the Clans
Murdering is forbidden.
You may join as Clan cat, loner, or rogue (MAYBE a kittypet.) RiverClan doesn't like kittypets.
There is one leader to a clan.
Leaders are responsible for the decisions of the Clan.
There is one Deputy to a Clan. He or she is selected by the Leader following the death of the former. (Done before moonhigh the next night.)
Every cat must obey the Leader, or Deputy.
Warriors are the heart of every clan. They hunt, patrol, mate, and protect.
The majority of cats in a Clan are warriors. They can be either male or female.
Medicine Cats cannot have kits.
Female leaders cannot have kits.
Apprentices always take the name 'blank'paw.
Apprentices must obey any cat older than them.
Queens bear or nurse the kits.
Queens are confined to the nursery.
Queens hand their kits over when they turn six moons.
Queens become elders when they pass fertility.
Elders are always respected.

Swept Away in a River of Stars's rules
|*|NOTE-- If you break a rule, you will get a warning. The second time you break a rule, the same one or a different one, you will recieve one last warning. The third time, you will be deleted and won't be allowed back.
1. You are not invicible. NONE of your characters are. At some point in an attack or battle, you must feel some pain. Maybe even badly injured here and there. It's not hard. Really it's not. Remember, we are based on the BOOKS.
2. Yes, StarClan cats come down to visit--usually to warn cats of trouble ahead, or to give prophecies. Keyword here- visit. We do not need every dead cat in the globe coming to haunt or "re-live" with our Clan. StarClan cats can come down with messages, or to stay for a little bit but only with a reason--and please, if you're not council ask before you have a StarClan cat come down. Think of it this way, once you're dead, you are dead.
3. Don't post over and over. If for some reason you post, and nobody else replies to it the answer is simple. Their character is either no where near you, or they are busy with a bunch of other things going on at once. Just relax.
4. No weird colors. [This includes something like, a black cat with white stripes; marks on the back like wings; etc.] No wings. Don't do that. I mean, please. Be real. You may as well have eight eyes.
5. Just in case rule four wasn't complete enough for you-- You cannot fly either. Hence, the no wings scenario.
6. When you first join, you may have up to 2 characters max. After a few months, ask if you can have another. Four is the limit, unless you've been actively in the guild for quite a while. Then the limit becomes five, but the only council can have six.
7. You cannot have kits in just a blink of an eye. First you must get the whole parent thing settled. You need two cats. Yes, suprising isn't it? *sarcasm* Then do not get detailed with us. Just let them share a den together, and say they fell asleep. That's all we need to know. The next few weeks she can figure out she is "expecting". After that she must be "expecting" for at least four real months. Five or six is preferred.
8. If you are new, please consider having one of your characters a Warrior. We really are in need of Warriors.
9. Do not kill off one of your characters just because you want to have a new one. Once it is dead, it's dead. And you won't be allowed another for quite awhile.
10. If you are a Kit you will be a Kit for 6 moons. Exactly like in the books. 6 moons is 6 months. And yes, that means 6 real months. You stay an apprentice for at least 5 or 6 moons. Yes, that means 5 or 6 real months.
11. Queens-- please do not have more than 6 kits. That rule is simple, so I won't give an example.
12. Your Guild Rank depends on your characters. If you have two kits and one warrior, you will be a Kit. Because you have more Kits than you do anything else. If you have three apprentices and one kit, you will be an Apprentice. Simple right? x___n
13. Hunting is not easy as one, two, three. If you are an Apprentice, that means you are just now learning to hunt. Make your character have troubles, defaults, and flaws. Nobody is perfect. Kits are not allowed to hunt.
14. If you decide your character suddenly comes down with a fatal illness, do not miraculously revive from it. You either die or you don't. If it is a small sickness, then yes, we can all understand our Medicine Cat(s) being able to heal you back to health.
15. Warriors are in charge [besides the Leader and Deputy, I mean]. Just like in the books. If you are an Apprentice you do not go anywhere without a Warrior, or a Warrior's permission. If you do something against the Warrior Code, yes, you will be punished. Your character that is. [Example- If you are an Apprentice, and a Warrior, Elder, etc. tells you to stay in camp and you don't. There is a very good chance that the cat goes to Council and Council decides your punishment. Punishments vary. You could be sent to change moss in all of the dens. Or help clean up the medicine cats den. It is a shameful thing, to break the Warrior Code, so please, don't take it as a 'Well, I can do this just to make my charr. be a trouble-maker.' He or she will be looked down upon. I don't suggest breaking the Warrior Code for fun.]
16. Kits can not leave the camp. They can't leave the Nursury unless their mother is with them [during their younger age.] When a Kit is nearing his or her apprentice ceremony [5-6 moons old], they can go around camp, but not out of it.
17. Kits do not fall in love. As a kit, you are interested in playing, practicing "play hunting" or "play fighting", or exploring. You are not "madly in love with the first male kit that walks past you". Apprentices can begin to learn what a crush is, and sometimes fall in love [older apprentices usually].
