welcome to bumpity bump
Bump! You may have heard of that word a lot, right? Well yes of course if you've been on the boards (you've been on the boards right?). Well this whole entire page has been dedicated to "bumping". Just because some of you have not mastered the great art of bumping.Bumpity Bump was created when after a while I realized something, nobody seems to able to bump at the right times, or even correctly! They always get flamed. It can become very bad, so I typed up a few paragraphs about bumping and created this page. I hope to keep this up and have it be very succesful. So welcome to this page!
I hope you like it!
Bumping is a great art, only achieved and recognized by few
Just to warn you, I might appear to be weird at times, I'm really not.

Bump Situations
Bumps- Different SituationsHave you ever been stuck in a situation where you have no idea what to do? Should you post something witty to the spammer, or should you shut your mouth and move on, for fear you might be called a flamer? Well this guide will help you stop sitting at the computer pointing at the screen doing "eenie-meenie-miny-mo.
Falling Board
Altador cup chat group board falling? Board just for chat or lending or wanting a question of yours to be answered falling as well? Well if you want to bump the board so that people can find it again. (I mean how many people do you know look beyond the first page of boards?) Some people bump boards that really don't need to be bumped. Example would be anywhere between 0-15 minutes from the last post. I usually bump the board If I want to say something, if its just to say "bump" then that's not really necessary. But if you want to say "hey don't know or can't help so free bump!" is great. But if you bump a board on the late second page or third page or more. Than that is ridiculous.
Spam
Ok all we want is for the spam to dissapear. So save your witty comments for later. I have a rule though. First page is ok, but more than that is way too much, just let it asplode. Posting on the board even more gets the spammer the wanted attention he/she has been looking for all along. So posting is well, flaming the board. Just forget it please and thank you.
Scam
Scams are horrible so heres what you do if they hit the boards. If there are posts saying SCAM or IT'S A SCAM DON'T DO IT, and theres like five then don't bump the board. The more you bump the more helpless newbies get stolen accounts =( . If there are no posts like that or no explanations, do so immediately. That's one more step to a safer neopets, make sure to report it too!
Scam Warning
When some board is made about a scam so that you can be warned, you should bump it right away. The longer its up, the better chance somebody will see it. Hence, less stolen accounts. That was an easy and short section right?
AC chat group board
This is just like the falling board category, but put into more detail. First, make sure you read that category. Ok, now if it's the page right before the pawn, and you want to pawn (is it spelled right?) the board sooo bad. Then do not just post one right after each other. In other words 1 minute after you say Bump!, don't realize like zomg! One more post and I get to make the next board! And then post another "bump". It's just, well, stupid. Make sense?
Note: I have personally see this happen, and thought the excuse of "well I bumped it again cause nobody was there" was stupid. Most boards won't give a pawn for spamming. Thanks. Any comments on this tiny sub-section please neomail me by clicking on the envelope in the last header. Thanks…again.
Its not on the first page anymore folks
Ever went to the last pages on the boards and seen some from hours maybe even days ago? Well, those are the boards you don't want to bump. There's nothing more annoying then seeing the time on the post before the bump, and looking at the bump post and see 1 or more hours difference. Seriously people, can't you get that this board has been long gone?! Ha ha…umm ya sorry.
The Question Has Been Answered
Help boards, you guys should know what that is. Hopefully, maybe, or maybe you just avoid it like the plague. Who knows….well see theres tons of boards asking for help. But when the help is given and the board user says "thanks" then theres no reason to bump the board or give more help unless asked. Why you ask? Because one- there is no reason to give more help, the question has been answered. Two- chances are the board creator won't even be there. So it's just no use, sorry.
When You Advertise
Have you ever made a board to advertise something of yours? Well have you ever seen a board advertising something and its been up for hours on end and the only person bumping the board is the board creator? Yup, maybe you have, but i have and I hate it! After 45 minutes to an hour, you need to give it up. Because I guess you just need to make a new board. Maybe theres some big spam or scam board. Or a really interesting question going on. Maybe some advertising board thats just getting more people. It might just not be the right time. Try again some other time. The only acceptable way to have a board going on for hours, is too have other people on the board chatting with you or getting "free bumps". So next time that happens. Go with the cheesy saying, just don't take it the wrong way by bumping every 5 minutes or making 3 boards of the same thing. Oh, and that cheesy saying? "Try, try again!
What is considered bumping?
Now that you know everything there is too bumping, well the question might be whats considered bumping? Well since I'm tired out of typing I'll answer this in one sentence…
Bumping is posting on any board as seen above, just posting is bumping. It brings up a board, a post whatever you would like to call it
Thanks so much for reading this page!
Bye!
