Member of the Month

Well, Hello there! Taxi and I (Rose) would like to Thank you for coming to check out La Tua Cantante's Member of the Month page.

This page is devoted to La Tua Cantante members, who have been really active in the guild and have been promoting it as well.

Each month we will have a different member of the guild who has gone that little bit extra for the guild. In the section below you will find out how you can become the Member of the Month

How you can become member of the month

The things that need to happen

So you want to become the Member of the Month, eh? Well, here is what you need to do:

• The first thing that needs to happen, is someone else in the guild must nominate you. That's right, you can't nominate yourself. We think it's best to do it this way because then you know that it's not just you, or us that thinks you are very active, and commit that little bit extra for our fabulous guild.
• Next, after you have been nominated, we (Taxi and I) will give you 3 weeks to see if anyone else thinks that you should be nominated, or to see if anyone else gets nominated.
• After 3 weeks have passed, Taxi and I will go through everyone who has been nominated and look for certain things about you. Those things are listed in the next section.
• After we have gone through all of the nominees, we will select who we think should be Member of the Month, based on the things from the list (in the section below) that apply to you.
• And finally, if you didn't become Member of the Month this month, (for example: January) don't worry. Just hope that the same person/people nominate you again. ANNND, you can only be Member of the Month once a year. We've implemented that rule to make it fair for others. We don't want anyone out shining others, now do we? :)

The Criteria

Ah, the section of Criteria. What we mean by criteria is the list of things that we'd like the Member of the Month to have. We will go through this list each month, figuring out who has what from the the list, and whomever has the most is who will be Member of the Month.

The List of Criteria

1. Posting on the message board frequently (We can check the last time you posted. We have the power to do that)
2. Creating a Graphic(s) for the guild and having it/them on the graphics page.
3. Creating something new for the guild (Example: A Quiz)
4. Participating in Guild activities, including Team Vamp/Wolf activities.
5. Advertising for the guild (Example: if you have something like a banner, button, blog or look up that says 'La Tua Cantante' in/on it)
6. Completing one of the 'Available Tasks' that are on the Guild Website
7. Miscellaneous: Doing something that isn't in the list above

Here is an example to help:

How many criteria she has hit: 4
-Posting daily
-Actively leading Team Vampire
-Creating graphics
-Creating a new avvy lending section

So you see, I have managed to have 4 of the 7 criteria. Where as others who were nominated only had 3.

That is how Taxi and I will decide who the Member of the Month will be.

Who will make the decision

Rose and I will be running Member of the Month. We both felt that having it be just the two of us, it would be much more fair for everyone. Fair in the sense that if we had a Team of people deciding, some times people might bring judgments into their decision, and that Rose and I know quite of few of the guild members. Well, me a little more than she xD

How to Nominate

The Nomination form

When nominating a fellow guild member to be the MOTM, please use the form in the box below. But when you send it to either Rose or Myself, please copy it from the text box.

This way, everyone follows the same form, and has to answer the same questions. Also, when you nominate someone, please don't tell us something along the lines of "Because they are really nice". Everyone in the guild is really nice, but we can't go on that reason because then everyone would be MOTM. So please, try and go from the Criteria list above :D
