How it works


Current Neopets Caption Contest

Every two weeks I will put up a picture from a previous caption contest for you to submit captions for. Those submissions will be judged partially by me, but mostly by your fellow Amity members. You don't need to worry about not getting points if you don't win, because you get 50 points for just submitting a caption to Christina!

The 27th of June (4pm NST) will be the deadline for submissions. I will pick 3-5 captions that I like for each picture and there will be a poll put up with all the chosen submissions. There will be a new image on June 29th at 4pm NST. Once the new image is put up the voting will be over and a winner will be declared, earning that member 500 points!

Rules

You've started reading the rules, awesome! You are now one step closer to that 500 point prize! There are only a few rules to this contest, but they are very important so please read carefully and follow them. Failure to follow the first three rules will result in disqualification

1. Keep it appropriate. No crude language, no extreme violence, etc.
2. Be nice. Meaning be a good sport if you don't win or your caption is not chosen. There will always be the next one :)
3. MAKE UP YOUR OWN CAPTION. If you plagiarize, I will know. I do look at the winning captions for the picture I chose so don't try. I hope that I do not have this problem from Amity members, that would be out of character.

And lastly

4. Have fun! There is no point to guild activities unless you're having fun!

Reward

We all like to be recognized or rewarded for our hard work, right? Definitely. So if you participate in the Caption Contest, you will get 50 points. If you win the caption contest, you will get 500 points. Pretty sweet huh?
