Where can i put the codes?
Well, the random events and buttons you can put on your petpage, your neopet's description, in your shop, gallery and display on your userlookup!
However, the shields can only go on your userlookup, and they replace your current one.

Aren't fake random events against the rules??
Only if they trick visitors into believing they have won something. See here:

If they are malicious in nature or meant to make someone think they received something that they have not, then yes, it is against the rules. If it is obviously not from Neopets and something amusingly benign, such as, "A dragon walks by and steals your socks" then it is fine. You have no idea how much mail we get because someone got a fake faerie paint brush Random Event in a shop and never got the item. =/ Please use your best judgment. If you have doubts whether or not it is appropriate or against the rules, simply don't use it.


What about shields? Are they against the rules?
Again, only if they fake your account age or along those lines. Editorial says:

Why is it against the rules to cover up your shield on your user lookup? I understand the sidebar and overhead bar, but why the shield?
Covering your shield with an image that goes along with your UL theme is fine. What we don't want anyone doing is using another Neopets shield to deceive other players into thinking an account is older or younger than it really is. Your shield can say things like "forever" or "eleventy billion years and still going strong" or something that is obviously fictitious, but please do not place a 56 month shield over your 2 week shield to make your account look older, or vice versa.
And it is perfectly acceptable to replace the top and side bars as well. :)
