Health - tells you how much life you have left. The lower your life the darker the color the bar is from yellow to red.
Timer - how much time is left to complete the level. The lower your time the darker the color the bar is from light blue to red.
Scrap - your character. He starts in the same place every time.
Level - the current level you're on. Remember, there are only eight in this game!
Score - this is the current score in the game.
Target Color - the color you're aiming for for each block. The blocks start as brown, then are changed to blue, and then to green if you're far enough in levels.
End Game - pretty self explanatory. Click here to end the game.
Throughout each level in the game you will come across the objects pictured above. Collecting these are paramount to your scoring.
In each game, a sequence of items will appear. We all get the same amount, however, what we get can differ from one game to the next.
This only applies for the gems/diamonds/hearts and timers.
There is a sequence bar on every screen shot shown for each level (As pictured below). This lets you know what to collect and in what order. All are shown in sequence above each level image.
The first level, like most games, is the easiest.
A total of four moneybags will appear throughout the whole level.
Collect the first three that show up while changing the tiles at the same time to the required color.
Make sure to leave one square unturned so that you can wait for the last money bag to appear.
When it pops up, grab it as fast as you can and dash back to the last square to end the level.
Level two isn't much tougher than level one with a few exceptions.
First of all, in this level, unlike the first, there are different heights in the boxes that Scrap must jump on. .
Also, in this level 3 hazards are introduced.
The first being a well or hole, if you jump into the hole the game is over.
The second is a set of spikes, the longer you stand on them the more life they drain from your life total.
The third is a set of thugs, they, like the spikes, will drain your life from you.
In this level only one will appear. From level three on out there will be two or three of them! In this level there are a total of 5 moneybags to collect.
Collect the first four as you're turning the blocks blue just like in level one, leaving the last. Instead of leaving only one block unturned like in level one you'll leave the two on the raised blocks (illustrated on screenie) this just means one less jump on the spikes in this level ,Wait until the last bag appears, dash to it and back to turn the last blocks.
This is the most important level!
It takes the most planning and consideration. New items are introduced into this level.
A blue gem, a green gem, a diamond and a heart are all introduced.
Each are explained in the above pictures.
Your main goals is to collect the treasures along with escaping, during game play a certain number of treasures will pop up, then a clock or heart.
You will collect 6 moneybags and 2 possible diamonds then a clock or heart. If you've lost 1/3 or more of your life a great tip is to stand on a spike until you lose enough to guarantee a heart (recommended)
This fills your life up for the rest of the game until you hit a spike or thug.
In this level you have to jump on the spikes as this level is split into 3 sectors
The longer you stand on a spike the more your life bar will shorten.
The difference between getting the heart and the clock is approximately 10 game points.
Which is more important to you? The 10 points now or the full health? The best way to play this level is to be patient and not to rush! You will have sufficient time! If possible whilst in the 2 small sectors try and turn all the blocks to the target color as chances are you wont need to go there again unless a moneybag or diamond appears there again and stay in that sector until the next moneybag or diamond appears do not go after the blue and green gems they are worth no points
Remember that the more you touch the spikes the lower your life, the lower your life bar gets the more possibility you'll get a heart instead of a clock!
Note: If the clock or heart appears and you do NOT get it but instead finish the level you will NOT receive any more gems/diamonds/hearts OR clocks in ANY of the following levels.
This level is much easier than level 3! There are no hazards that you must go through to be able to complete the level
In this level you are able to collect 2 possible diamonds and 9 moneybags total, (7 before the clock and 2 after)
Whether you get a clock or a heart is dependent on what your health is at, remember the tip in level 3? Well it is possible that you still have full health at the end of this level therefore guaranteeing you a clock bonus and an extra 2 moneybags (40 points).
This level, like level 4, has no hazards that you have to cross.
So you can complete this one without losing any life also!! Also, like level 4, there are a total of 2 diamonds possible for collecting and the clock/heart too.
Collect the diamonds and the 7 moneybags then wait for your clock, grab the last 2 moneybags then turn the last remaining blocks to the target color
Remember that if you are low on life you will get a heart instead of a clock and won't have time to get the last 2 bags!
This level is like level 3 except that there are now 3 thugs to avoid instead of 2.
Also, if you happen to jump onto an already changed square it will go back to its original color.
Collect a possible 2 diamonds, 7 bags, wait for the clock and then collect your LAST bag.
There is only one bag after the clock in this level!
This level can drain away a lot of life, the tip in this level is to use your 'scrap' bonus to restore you health as late in the level as you possibly can, the best time to use this is just after the 7th moneybag or before the clock/heart is due, this gives you a chance of getting the final moneybag and moving onto next level with an almost full health bar.
This level is a bit tougher than any of the ones before, the squares need to be changed from brown to blue to green.
If you happen to land on a green (which is the target color) it will go back to brown and you will have to change it to blue and then green again.
All the hazards can be avoided in this level also!!! So it is possible to go into level 8 with the same amount of health as you had finished level 6 with.
In this level however, you will only get 1 diamond and 4 moneybags before the clock bonus.
Wait for the clock and then grab the last moneybag.
LAST LEVEL!!! The target color is indeed green in this level like the previous.
There are some hazards you will have to cross in order to complete level 8 also.
You will get one diamond, however if your life is low a heart will appear instead.
You will get 4 moneybags, then the clock *hopefully* and one last moneybag.
Hit your last block and you're done!
Hopefully this guide will help you better your score and earn you a shiny new trophy.
