Guild Rules

  1. We do NOT hold guild contests! There will be NO prizes awarded for the activities you participate in. We just have activities to have fun and socialize with each other. We will not be doing item hunts, item drives, etc.
  2. The guild is public. We like new members, we like making friends, and we encourage people to join. We have a great group of people, and we like for everyone to get along in the guild! We are always looking for active members to join!
  3. Disrespect of any guild member is cause for dismissal from the guild. Please take care of problems privately, or ask a council member for assistance in taking care of problems that you see come up.
  4. If you have a problem with another member, please send Neomail to a council member. Do not post your grievances on the message board. The message will be immediately removed and you will be placed on warning. We will make every attempt to resolve the matter (with the assistance of the Guild Council as needed). Please treat every member with respect -- as you would like to be treated.
  5. All members are encouraged to post on the guild boards. We ask that you try to use more than a few words in any one post. We want to hear what you have to share! We discourage using the message boards to post one-liner messages one after another simply to fill up time and space. Please be considerate of the time it takes to read through all the messages on the boards and combine posts when possible. You can respond to more than one post in your message. Also, please do not type in ALL CAPS! This is very hard on the eyes, and your messages will probably be ignored if not removed. Please do not use any fonts that are hard to read or colors that are very light or bright.
  6. No CHATSPEAK! We know that everyone does not like to type out every word all the time, but we really, really don't want a bunch of posts that look like this:
    How r u doing? I'm gr8! Check out my sh0p!

    If you use excessive chatspeak, you will be given a warning.
  7. Do not post on the boards asking if anyone is online to chat. Everyone is on at different times, and the point of a board is to be able to hold a conversation over time.
  8. NO begging on the boards or in Neomail will be tolerated. If you are truly in need, you may ask for help. You will be directed to the Healing Springs if you pet is sick and to the Soup Kitchen if your pet is hungry. Do not ask other members to donate to you. If you are looking to borrow, that is something saved for private neomails. If you are interested in trading you may post that ONE time on the message board. If you are looking for a particular item, you may post a general request in order to purchase or trade for it with another member ONE time.
  9. Members who have not been active on the guild boards or signed in to Neopets for 3 months, will be removed from the guild!
  10. Overall: Be nice, have fun, participate and we hope you make lots of friends!

Council
  1. Bushi - The Bushi is responsible for all aspects of the guild. This position is a wise Neopian who will help to bring peace to our hectic lives by providing members with a safe haven of rest here in the guild.
  2. Kagemusha - Responsible for layouts, graphics, page maintenance. Assists where needed.
  3. Taisho - Wise Elder responsible for activities, guiding new members and promoting fun.
  4. Akuso - Assists Taisho as needed. Keeps interests going for the guild by encouraging members and spotlights members' achievements.
  5. Bakuhan - Member supporting elder. Keeps membership up, chooses MOTM, and helps to keep peace and foster activeness in members.
Members
  1. Ninja - New members begin here
  2. Ronin - 3 months of active membership - 30 posts
  3. Samurai - 6 months of active membership - 75 posts
  4. Daimyo - 1 year of active membership - 150 posts
  5. Shogun - this is a council designated position for members who have worked very hard and puts lots of effort into the guild. They help new guide new members, have submitted content for guild ideas, have lent a pet to members, made graphics, recruited on the boards constantly, or any number of outstanding things. You must be this rank to qualify for any open guild positions.

MOTM

Every month we will spotlight a member that stands out in the guild. Some of the things we look for when choosing this member: New member referrals, message board activity, behavior in general, ideas and help given to other members. The member of the month is someone who embodies what the guild stands for and spreads that feeling to others. MOTM will get some council privileges for the month, including: Board monitor, POTM decider, and poll patrol. They also get the honors of running Avatar Simon and any other small activities that need to be initiated.
