My History:
I was a perfect pup under the reign of the Pharaoh, many thousands of years ago. My family had been slaughtered by his army, so only I was left, leaving only the cobrall dagger they had been killed with. I cooked his meals, cleaned his floors, I even made his clothes. Why would I do this? Simple, he promised me wealth, gold, riches beyond belief. I was greedy, and wanted everything I could get, so I worked for him, being treated like dirt. One day, the Pharaoh fell in love with a beautiful girl. They got married and had children, a proper family they were! But still, the Pharaoh treated me like dirt. His wife hated me, his children despised me, but I continued to work silently, hoping for his promise to be for filled. Then, one day, I walked into his bedroom to clean, when I found him lying in his bed, cold and as hard as stone. Little did I know that when a Pharaoh died, all of his belongings, treasures, and slaves were buried with him. So I was thrown into a chamber, surrounded by gold, with the Pharaoh lying in a gold coffin next to me. I was there for weeks, months, maybe even years, never dying. Then, out of nowhere, hands erupted from the ground, and dragged me under, into the Underworld.
Still I did not die, when I was thrown in front of the Master of the Underworld. He smiled at me,
You have been tricked," he snarled, showing crooked fangs behind his dark lips, "you knew you were never to get his treasure, but still you worshiped him like a god!" The Master laughed. I took a deep breath,
You're right," I muttered, "that evil creature tricked me." I glared at the Master, "Bring him to me, I want to give him something." I clutched a cobrall dagger that my parents had been murdered with. I always carried it around with me, keeping it hidden. The Master chuckled again,
I have a proposition for you," he grinned, "I'll let you go back to your world, live forever, and be invinsible," I raised an eyebrow,
What's the catch?" I growled, still glaring at him,
You will never die, but then you will never live," The Master chuckled, "you will stay as you are, thin, weak, dying, for all eternity, but," he paused, "you must bare the mark of the Underworld like a scar!"
Fine!" I snarled, stepping towards him,
No, no!" The Master laughed, "I have not finished! Because of your greed, this scar will make you kill every Pharaoh that will ever come to reign, when you set your eyes on them!"
I am not a murderer!" I hissed cruelly, "What makes you think I shall kill?"
I do!" The Master hissed back, he held his hands together and created a mysterious ball of black fire. The fire almost exploded, but in its place, lay a small Wain. "His name is Aswad," the Master explained, "He will help you," the Wain opened its enormous black eyes and stared at me,
"What you looking at?" He barked. I flinched at the sound of its shrill voice and glared back at the Master. He held out his hand like a gun and shot it at me. Suddenly, everything went black.
I woke up in the Lost Desert, the sun beating down on me. I sat up, my head throbbing dangerously. Aswad was sitting impatiently next to me, holding a stick,
About time you woke up!" He growled, standing up, "I've been poking you for hours!" I giggled and winced at the pain in my shoulder. A strange, golden symbol had been burnt into my fur. A weird golden necklace hung around my neck. I was about to take it off when Aswad growled at me again,
I wouldn't do that if I was you! That is what is keeping you alive!" I instantly let go of the necklace and looked around worriedly. In the distance a new Pharaoh was being crowned. When I looked at him, my heart raced, my blood boiled, all I could think about was murder, blood being spilt over the hot sand. But I closed my eyes, trying to block out these thoughts.
My mouth was dry, but when I drank, nothing happened. My stomach squealed for food, but when I ate, nothing happened. I was not quite dead, but definitely not aliveā¦
