Hey everyone, I'm Georgia. ^__^. I'm 14 yrs old & living in Spain, Barcelona. I enjoy meeting new people, hanging out with friends, shopping, sport & graphic designing. I've been making graphics for about a year now, hopefully improving. In Xylem I've met so many great people that I will never forget ^__^. Hey, my names Liv and I hold the third council position in Xylem. I am 18 years old and I live in England. I have been on neopets now for 9 years now, but alas, my first account has been lost forever. =o In Xylem I currently host the team superhero page, the adoption agency and the jobs page. In my spare time I like to come on neopets, hang out with friends and watch movies. Well, that's about it about me. XD I smell at writing about myself.

History

So I bet you're wondering how Xylem came about. Well the original owner, Mickay, was co owning a guild way before Xylem. She was putting in all of the work and not getting any credit for it. She one day she decided it was time to move on and make her own guild. She chatted with Tiffy, Georgia, and Bree about what she should call her guild. There were many names thrown her way but one that really caught her attention was Xylem. She thought it was unique and a fun word. So her and Abby got started on creating Xylem. After a short while Sophie was on council to help make Xylem a better guild. After Abby left the guild Sophie was co owner and then along came Georgia. Her beautiful graphics gives Xylem a unique touch. Faris is another great owner we have at Xylem. She helps out making layouts, petpages, userlookups, and much more. Of course you all know Xylem wouldn't be where it is today without all of our awesome members. (: Thank you so much for making Xylem the best guild it could be.

Requirements

So you're wondering if you have what it takes to be apart of Xylem? Well you came to the right page. =D We're currently looking for members who are at least fourteen years of age or older, exceptions are made sometimes. I will rarely make exceptions if you're eleven or younger. We also require every member to be fully literate. Meaning you must use proper capitalization, punctuation, and grammar at all times. Members of Xylem should have a decent, pretty font. We don't want fonts that are too bright, too big, or just plain ugly messing up our boards. (: If you don't have a nice font, I suggest you get one. We also want each and every member of Xylem to be active, if you're inactive for a week or more you will be deleted in our weekly member sweeps. The only way to avoid member sweeps are pretty simple. Either stay active or notify Mickay when you will be absent.

Objectives

Literacy is important in Xylem. We require every member to be fully literate. This means we expect you to use proper capitalization, punctuation, and grammar at all times.

You are expected to be active in Xylem. If you are inactive for a week or more you will be deleted in our weekly member sweeps. If you notify Mickay that you will be inactive you wont be deleted.

Please do not spam our boards. You are expected to have at least on sentence per post in every post. Do not post a message with one or two words.

Follow all of Neopets' Terms & Conditions.

First offense: Neomail from one of the owners warning you.
Second offense: Suspension for three to five days depending on the rule that you broke.
Third offense: You will be deleted without warning.

Ownie is a very hard rank to achieve. You must be able to help out the guild in a lot of ways. You must be online a lot as well. Faq

Will I get left out since Xylem is so large? We will try our best to make sure you wont be left out. But do us a favor and make sure you are an active member and if you feel left out let someone know. Most of the time members are just distracted and do not see your first post.

What can I do to help out in the guild? Well there are loads of things you can do. Xylem is always open to new ideas, so if you would like to host anything just mail Mickay. Another way to help out is by joining a team or applying for a guild job.

Why do you have member sweeps? Well Xylem loves to see active members, we don't really like inactive members. Why join a guild if you are never really active? At Xylem we care about quality rather than quantity. (:
