The Three Review Site

10/33 Spiffyness - Your layout, errr.. it's very unprofessional and not that internet-friendly. There is no color scheme (except the obvious blue) because there are just random colors. The background startles my eyes, and is way too bright. I'm not quite sure why you have your counter off to the side like that, and why you have the button for Converse AllStarz below everything. If your site was listed there, you should have a section in your site titled something like Listed At where you put all those buttons. *pokes above* like that. The other first thing that I notice is the flashing eye icon in the fashion icons. It's annoying.
The sentence in your welcome, i can make just about any kinda icon that you can think of is kind of braggy, and I should be capitalized. I took the liberty of creating a screen shot, explaining what I mean. (drag it to your address bar to view it full sized.)

30/33 Spiffyness - I love your layout! The colors from the top banner just blend perfectly into the background: that's the first thing I noticed. I love all the gradient/blends that you have incorporated into your div boxes! That's so cool, and I wish I could do something like that for Converse! I also notice how you title everything to fit in with your pirate theme! From crow's nest, to me other ships, and my favorite, me gold doubloons, it all ties in perfectly!
One thing that I do not like is that it is just a one column layout. Even though it is indeed, very purdy, I must say that it is annoying to have to scroll through a lot to get to your sitely matters and such. Also it took me a while to find your link back buttons, and how to get listed. Those things should be easy to find, and convenient for the visitor.
31/33 Content - You have a lot of content, yes. But, as I have previously experienced with ConnXions, you list sites without asking them first. You do tell them, but you don't ask them for permission first.
I love your back to top and navigating buttons! :D
I do see a few errors with your listing though. For one, you have the columns into scroll boxes for categories like Link Directories, Graphics, Guides and Tutorials, Premades, Requests, and Review Sites. And then for the other categories (ie, Pet Directories and Adoptables) you don't. Make sure to fix that in some way!
30/33 Neatness - What I do love, is the way that you organize your links!! I like how you have the most recommended site for each category, and then the links in two columns. How do you do that? I've been trying to do that with Converse for a while, but I just don't know how!!
Your site is very neat, but (as I stated before) it is hard to find the Link back buttons and how to get my site listed! Also, I would think that NP Guides would be with Tutorials and Guides rather than Dailies...
Also, I do love that you are trying to make it easier to sort through your site with SearchSoroptimist, but I do think that it is a tad unnecessary. After all, you do already have all the links organized, if you wanted to organize them further, then you could just make some sub-categories. Such as, under graphics you could have petpages, and button requests, and icons, and ect. I think that would make it easier then searching through a whole-nother page to find what you need.
+ 1 Extra - You incorporate the pirate theme wonderfully! You also have a featured site, and a most recommended page for each category!

31/33 Spiffyness - I just love the layout. It's like all summery but in fall, with a touch of spring, and a bit of winter. You know? *sighs* I just love it! It is a lot of pink though. I understand that you like pink a lot, but toning it down would be okay as well. Scrolling down, I see that you have a lot of space between buttons in your portfolio! I understand why space between the buttons is essential, but I think that the amount that you have not is just a tad too much. You have a lot of room in your side column, so you could maybe put affies and such in that column to avoid the clutter at the bottom of your page. Overall, I love the layout. Oops, I said that already. xD
30/33 Content - You make great buttons, Rebecca! You have a wide variety of borders, which is good, but I think that you should have some more animations to work with! I like how you make the buttons readable (I know a lot of button sites that don't) but how you can still see the picture! In your first about, 3/4, of the collection you seem to use the straight lines pattern a lot. I do like that, but I see a pattern. I'm glad that you are starting to move away from that, but don't totally get rid of it!! Maybe make it an option, for the lines or not?

I think it's the picture, and the colors, with the animation, and how you blended everything together. Love it!
Again, I do think that you should make your buttons closer together in the portfolio. It might make it neater.
32/33 Neatness - Your site is pretty neat and organized! :) I'm glad how you have navigation, but back to top navigation would be good, to eliminate the hassle of scrolling even more! I love how you split that first section in half, half for your welcome, and half for your updates! How do you do that? Please share the secret! xD

30/33 Spiffyness - I LOVE your layout! It seems to work perfectly for you! I also like how your welcome tells a story, and that story seems to be incorporated with the image of your layout! In your nav, though, I see that you have a little pixel on a few of the links. That pixel isn't quite readable... but I assume that it's a pixel for updated sections, so I suggest that you make it more readable.
Looking at your link backs, I can't read the first link back. It's flashing to fast!!

What does it say? At close zooming in, it looks like it might say, In The Quest... I think that has to do with the Aunt Josephine's Quest section, so should be down there not up with your link back buttons.
I was curious, so I scrolled down to the credit's section of your site, to see who made your layout. There is a credit, but no link. There should be a link. You also haven't linked back to The Three yet. -_-
31/33 Neatness - At the bottom of the page, you have the old (or blue) back to top link instead of your newer red arrow. On your quest page, the link back to Locket doesn't work. Also, your affies, listed ats, and such, should be on the sidebar with your link backs.
31/33 Content - You have great content! All the content in the Secrets section is fab-u-lous!! I have to say though, you need some more secrets from the viewers perspective. The viewers perspective helps just as much as the secrets do! So don't forget it!

27/33 Spiffyness - Haha! I like the name! I once did a report on the Forbidden City (got an A-, but it took forever to get the info!) and I still remember it when I hear the name! So, the banner's pretty basic, just an image silhouette with your site's name plastered across it. I like it, but it's a tad too simple for me. You know? And the image doesn't really have anything to do with your name, Forbidden City. Also, your layout is very bulky. Try a cleaner, sleeker, look. I also see that it is a pre-made. It's okay but customs or self-made ones are way better.
You also don't have that many sites listed. I see that you started 22 days ago (haha, I can count. xD) but you shouldn't sit around waiting for sites to come to you. go to them! I see that in your updates, you update pretty often! (Every day, actually, just like I do! Congrats! :D) The only gap that I see is from the 12th-15th. I don't know what happened there.
25/33 Content - You don't have many site's listed. GO TO THEM!! But make sure you ask. I find it rude to go to site owners and be like, Oh, by the way, I listed your site, can you link back? I only do that in dire times for Converse, and I don't ask them to link back if I list them first. Ask by saying something like I was browsing around, and I found your amazing site! I just opened my own directory, and I was wondering if you would like to get your site listed in it? If your interested, please give me the URL, Name, and Category so that I can list it. Thanks! Be polite.

30/33 Neatness - Everything seems to be in the right place!! Nice navigation and back to top links as well! You also have great link back buttons, but the 4th and the 7th I can't read. And the 5th is hard (but not as hard as the others) to read as well.
-1 Extra - You don't have that many sites listed! You also don't have anything extra, that makes your site stand out from all the other directories!

29/33 Spiffyness - I like your layout! It's a bright, but not so bright that it makes me want to press the back button! I do think that you should have a full layout graphic, though, instead of the tiny banner at the top. I Also, think your name is rather clever I think just by looking at it, someone would know that your site is a review site. I like the way your updates move up the box they are in, it adds to your site. However, I don't like the way you have a link to your reviews, rather than having them on the actual site, it's a bit inconvenient for people who are being reviewed.
30/33 Content -You do quite a lot of reviews, but there could be more. You chart your updates, and they are displayed in a pretty cool way! I just don't like the link to the reviews for some reason... and your link back button that you have, is not the one pictured. Why? Also, you need more link back buttons, so that people can link back to you!
32/33 Neatness - Your site is very organized and neat, and the hard work shows on your site! The only thing that I don't like is how you make the reveiwee's go to a different page to get to their reviews. Why? + 1 Extra - I like the flowery theme!

29/33 Spiffyness - I love the layout! It's so cute, original, and simple! I also like the quote that you included in your layout, No need to teach a seed to grow, it's just another ordinary miracle! The colors all fit together so well, and they blend perfectly! I also like how you have your navigation all personalized to go with the site theme, and how you have a little explanation of what goes to where on your homepage!
Looking further, I see that you could use more fonts. Also, why is your waiting list in a textarea? Under Satisfied Customers, you need to include the links on the buttons. I like the idea of the limited edition bases, so smart! But you might want to mention that the ones that have the word wrapped on them are the ones that are grabbed already (I just kinda guessed...) For your awards and gifts, you must link back to where you got them from. Must.
27/33 Content - You seem to have a fair amount of content in your satisfied customers section, but most of the buttons are low-quality or unreadable. They need to be readable, period.
You need some more fonts, and since I see that you can do animation, maybe a few animations to chose from?
I like the Polaroids, but you need more of them! The same with the Resources.
33/33 Neatness - Your very neat and organized, Soph! You tend to update often, which is good as well!

28/33 Spiffyness - I Personally like your layout,but it doesnt tell me what your site is about. When I first look at a site banner/layout I should see what it is going to be about, sure you say its a button request site but it should be bigger. Personally when i seen the banner i thought it was going to be a multi resource page. But I have to say it makes a first good impression on me. As for your welcome message I think it give's me the general understanding of your site.
32/33 Content - I personally like the way your site is ordered giving the visitor a choice of what they are about to request. I think all button request sites should be like that. You seem to put alot of time and effort into your buttons and that comes across in your quality and you seem to have alot of it. I just have one suggestion, I think to improve the quality of your site you should add maybe some more resources eg. Button Bases (all of course linking back to you.) You also seem to be updating often which is good. The longest you have gone without updating is 2 Days.
33/33 Neatness - I think your site is VERY organized. All your buttons and everything are listed and very organized. I like the way at the bottom how you have your affies listed and them all organized and up to date.

18/33 Spiffyness - Okay,Well at first look I thought your site was a Guild Petpage. You need a proper layout or a banner with your site's name on it. I got very confused when I tried to find your welcome message. You have a little encounter message at the begining and I like that...but your actual welcome message is way down the page under the updates. I Think maybe you should blend your welcome message into your encounter message and maybe put your Bulletin notices in a blog or update box.
