ABOUT ME

Ello! My name's Elly. Welcome to my "About Me" page! I'm much too lazy to put all this up on my lookup and it's frankly much more interesting when it's here on a petpage xD
Oh and this page was originally an owner application so that's why the header says "why should she be chosen?" and the whole page is basically about why I'm so great hehe (:

Here's a little basic information:

• Hometown: Rome, Italy
• I currently live in: Sunny California
• I was born in Rome, but my family and I moved to London, England when I was less than a year old. We only moved here to Cali about a year and a half ago, so yes I have an accent and yes I spell the slang word for mother with a "u" instead of an "o". We also spent about 8 months in Ireland with relatives, and I've been told I picked up a bit of an Irish twang there, but I can't say for sure. Even though I'm from London, I'm mostly Italian and Irish (as well as Norwegian, Japanese, Filipino and French)
• My birthday (just thought I'd put this here; people like sending me stuff xD): May 26th
• I always pronounce the word "bologna" phonetically and never the way it's actually supposed to be said.

So who am I? I'm an avid Neopets player who's been addicted for roughly 7 years (of course I've ended up switching accounts.) This is my side account, elthinae is my main as well as my oldest current account.

Other things you need to know about me:

• I dance. A LOT. It's pretty much my life. I dance 32 hours a week during the school year. I also compete for my studio. I dance for hours and hours and hours a week doing all kinds of dance---hiphop, jazz, lyrical, ballet, modern, character/production, ballroom and even a little Irish. I'm also on my school's Dance Troupe.
• Another large part of my life is horses. There are stables on our land, and we have several horses. Mine is named Dudley. He's a black Fresian. I luff him (: He's the apple of my eye.
• My favorite color's purple! I love everything PURPLE! It might sound cheesy but my room is purple, I buy purple school supplies as often as possible, I only use purple pens, and all that jazz. If it wasn't so violent, I would wish to be a purple people eater.
• I love to read! My favorite series are: Twilight, The Luxe & House of Night. I also have a ton of other books I love, but those are tied for the top slot.
• What else do I do when I'm not on Neo? I play flute/piccolo, drums, and electric & acoustic guitar. I go to school (wow, there's a no brainer, I'm in high school!) I play volleyball and do track.
• I'M LITERATE! I spell everything right (I pretty much always use FireFox) and the only chatspeak I use on a regular basis are "ZOMG" "lol" "haha" and I sometimes make up my own little phrases. I also use -some sort of action here- and TONS of smilies! To be completely honest, it bugs me when people use chatspeak. I've actually been known to leave a guild if more than 2 people say "o u r 2 cool" or anything along those lines xD

EXAMPLES

I know how to use PSP and PhotoShop to create all sorts of graphics (buttons, banners, lookups, layouts, etc.) but I can't really code. I can do basic petpage coding (as you see here. Yes, I did all of this) but I can't code layouts or lookups. I also know basic HTML. I don't know CSS but I could catch on and learn if I had someone to teach me how. Oh that's another magnificent (I like big words!) thing about me - I'm a very quick learner.
