Who are we?

We are a guild for neopians aged 18 and over. To keep Elapsed close-knit we are private. Being dark themed with a themeless message board provides a twist on traditional "guild life". Although we try our best to cater for a variety of interests, if you have an aversion to anything spooky and/or sinister, we may not be the guild for you.
Our members vary in age from 18 to 50 which makes for fascinating conversations, and we have monthly member sweeps to ensure that our active member count isn't falsely inflated.
If you are still interested in joining us then you must meet the following requirements.
Requirements
As a prospective member of Elapsed, you must meet at least
two of these requirements before applying:
An account of 6 months old.
Two limited edition pets or painted pets (or a combination), OR two pets above level 20 (or one above 40).
100 games played.
120 avatars.
50 stamps and/or neodeck cards.
Three trophies (not including the lutari talisman or NC Mall), OR one of the following:
Gallery spotlight winner, User lookup spotlight winner, Neopian Times Champion, Random contest winner, Poetry contest winner, Kad feeder or Caption Contest (whether these trophies are bronze, silver or gold is irrelevant).
A pet with an intelligence of above 250.
A size 20 and themed gallery.
Level 50 Habitarium.
100+ redeemed gold KeyQuest keys (please provide screenshot if necessary) OR 300+ games overall.
In addition to the above, you must join on your main account.
Why do you have requirements?
We want to make sure that anyone who may be joining us is somewhat dedicated to neopets. This is to help prevent inactivity and by being online on a regular basis, it allows our members to get to know one another and develop friendships.
What if I'm an experienced player who is starting over on a new account?
I'm sorry but because people have lied in the past, we cannot make exceptions to these requirements.
Rules
Maturity is a must. Be civil to each other and if you have a problem with another member, let a council member know.
Post once every two weeks. This is the minimum requirement to avoid being deleted. If you are going to be busy or away then let a council member know.
Don't beg or even ask other members for items, neopoints or pets.
We are semi-literate+. Smileys, "OMG" and "LOL" are fine but please use correct spelling and grammar to the best of your ability. Post "spooky" at the beginning of your application if you read the rules.
Follow all of neopets rules. Even though this is an adult guild we still can't discuss real world issues.
Ranks
Mist: This is the default rank. You are finding your feet.
Lurking Shadow: 1 week in the guild and 50 messages. You know the basics of the guild and have yourself a grave.
Grim Student: 1 month in the guild and 250 messages. You've established yourself.
Sinister Intern: 2 months in the guild and 500 messages. You've proven yourself to be dedicated.
Evil Plotter: 3 months in the guild and 800 messages. You're a loyal member and known by most everyone here.

Read and discuss a new title each month with fellow guildies if desired.
Custom guild layouts.
Changed once a month on average. As with the newspaper, anyone with the ability to make layouts is welcome to do so.
Weekly auctions & silent auctions.
