Hello! My name is
Emily. I'm an experienced trader, and after answering literally hundreds of mails from users asking what they should trade for or what their pets were worth and seeing the countless daily "What is my pet worth?" boards, I thought this guide may be helpful to quite a few people. Before you start reading, please take a peek at the "Disclaimer/Rules" section further below. You will get much more benefit out of this guide if you understand what you are looking at and how to read it. Also, feel free to neomail me if you need to, but do not do so without first reading the aforementioned section.
And just so everyone is clear:
This guide is NOT law!
It is a guide, with
guidelines as to what pets can commonly trade for. I am not telling anyone what they can or cannot trade their pets for. You can trade your pets for whatever you please. All this is designed to do is give traders a database to look at if they aren't sure if an offer they got is fair, or what types of pets are fair to offer on.

I'll try to make this simpler about mailing me for help. From now on you can mail me any trades for help as long as you have advertised and you include your offers in the mail. It also helps if you include intentions; IE trade up to an ____, keep, etc. so if you're not going down the right path I can redirect you.
I've gotten a lot of requests recently to add draiks and krawks to the page due to their deflation. I don't have any disputes with the fact that some cheaper colors fit within the page but; I really can't think of a way to add colors such as an eventide draik or a robot krawk without making the page terribly confusing since the more valuable ones aren't even close to fitting within my value markers. If you request for me to do this, please include ideas of how to do it as well (:

Sorry to shake up the status quo, but I really don't feel my tier labels were clear so I've changed them. Pets will now be labeled using the terms Very High, High, Medium High, Medium, Medium Low, Low, Very Low. Much more to the point, don't you think? ;) For those of you who liked the old system, sorry! Most people didn't and I understand why. Organizationally, it was a nightmare. If you're confused, here is a
very vague description of each term.
Very High - Most Plushies
High - Most Pirates, Alien
Medium High - Most Royals, Usuki, Extremely popular lab available pets
Medium - Most popular lab available pets
Medium Low - Most unpopular lab pets
Low - Colors with a very low paint brush value, very low popularity, or a combination of the two.
Very Low - Colors with the lowest paint brush value, lowest popularity, or a combination of the two.
Colors with very low value
These colors are all
Very Low value, at the bottom of the food chain and typically trade within themselves. Sometimes a
Low pet can be possible. For these colors species is not much of a factor; they are all
Very Low except for a few special pets. Included colors in this section:
Biscuit, Brown, Camouflage, Checkered, Christmas, Clay, Cloud, Custard, Ghost, Glowing, Invisible, Magma, Sketch, Snow, Speckled, Split, Starry, Striped and Tyrannian.
Exceptions:
These two cloud pets are very fluffy and cute looking which makes them slightly more popular, therefore increasing the value. These guys trade are a
Low value.
The tyrannian gelert is also well liked and decently popular, it is valued in between
Low and
Medium Low
Colors with low value
These colors are
Low valued. They usually trade within themselves, though trades are commonly seem with
Very Low or
Medium Low pets. Included colors in this section:
Chokato, Disco, Electric, Fire, Garlic, Gold, Orange, Pink, Purple, Rainbow, Shadow, Silver, Skunk, Snot, Strawberry, White.
Exceptions:
The Fire Blumaroo, Orange Grundo, and White Kacheek are more popular and are a
Medium value.
8 - Bit
8 - bit has dropped in value since it's release. It is still sporadic and not as constant as most colors. It is currently ranging in between a
Medium and
Medium High.
Alien
Alien aishas are very popular are a
High value.
Baby
These babies are the most popular and easy to trade species and are a
Medium value.
These babies are also a
Medium value, but are slightly harder to trade.
All other babies are a
Medium Low value, but depending on the trader can be
Medium.
Chocolate
These chocolates are
Medium High and generally trade for other similar valued pets.
These chocolates have somewhat of a ranged valued depending on the trader and are in between a
Medium High and
Medium, though they lean towards
Medium.
All other chocolates are about a
Medium value.
Coconut
The Coconut Jubjub is popular due to aesthetics and the fact that it's an avatar pet. It fluctuates from
Medium High to
High.
Darigan
Darigans in this section are
Medium valued and usually trade at about that range.
Other darigans not listed above really aren't sought after much and are around a
Medium Low value. Occasionally someone will be seeking a particular species in this section offering more, but that's not an everyday case.
Desert
Desert pets are quite popular for their easily customizable skin tones and great clothing. These desert are usually about a
Medium to
Medium High value.
These deserts are a
Medium value.
All other deserts are fairly unpopular and are
Medium to Medium Low.
Eventide
Eventide is still quite new and has not stabilized yet. Trades for eventide seem to range from
Medium High to
Medium but being that it's so new value is fairly subjective so there aren't typical trades for it yet.
Faerie
With the release of faerie paint brushes from the plot, faerie worth has dropped a bit. They're still liked, so it hasn't been *too* drastic. They've gone from a
Medium High to the current value of
Medium.
Other faeries rest currently between a
Medium and
Medium Low value.
Fruit
Pea chias are very popular because of the aesthetic appeal and because they are an avatar pet. They are a
High valued pet.
These fruit chias are somewhat popular and are a
Middle value pet.
All other fruit and vegetable chias are
Medium Low to
Low value depending on the trader. Some people despise them and value them with christmas, others love them and have decent offers for them.
Grey
Species is not much of a factor for grey pets, they're all worth about the same. The difference is not enough to make separate sections over. They are about a
Medium value.
Halloween
Halloweens are fairly popular, these halloweens especially. They are about a
Medium High value.
These halloweens are worth almost as much as the first listed halloweens, but they are less popular making trading them difficult. They range between a
Medium High and
Medium value.
All other halloweens not listed above are about a
Medium value.
Ice
Ice pets are very un-popular and hard to trade. They are about a
Medium Low value. Some exceptions:
These two ice pets are a little more interesting and more visually appealing than the others so they trade better. The ice hissi is
Medium High and the ice bruce is
Medium.
The ice bori was only avaliable through a toolbar promotion a few years ago. Because of this, they are slightly rare. They however are not popular so the value is not as high as you'd expect. Most people ask for
High or
Very High pets, but in reality most are traded around
Medium High level.
Island
These islands are pretty popular and are a
Medium High value.
These islands are somewhat popular and are a
Medium value.
All other islands are not as popular and range from
Medium to
Medium Low valued depending on the trader.
Jelly
These jellies are decently popular and range from a
Medium High to
Medium value, slightly leaning towards
Medium but not too badly.
All other jellies are fairly hard to trade and sit at a
Medium Low value.
Mallow
Mallow grundos are a bit hard to find up for trade. They are at a
Medium High to
High value, but lean towards high since finding one UFT can be difficult.
Maractite
Maractite is a mildly popular color and is around a
Medium to
Medium High value.
Maraquan
Maraquans are fairly popular and trade very easily, these maras are
Medium High valued.
These maraquans rest between a
Medium High and
Medium value.
All other maraquans not listed above are a
Medium to
Medium Low value, depending on the trader.
MSP
MSPs are highly sought after and are a
Very High value.
Mutant
Both are still somewhat new, so be warned that the value can fluctuate very quickly but currently these two are a
Medium to
Medium High value.
These mutants are a
Medium value.
All other mutants are quite unpopular and hard to trade, at a
Medium Low value.
Pirate
Most pirates are a are
Medium High value. However, ALL pirates have a shifting worth at the moment due to the new daily and have not yet stabilized, meaning their value is highly fluctuating. Species differentiation will be added when the color is stable.
Pirate buzzes are always way oversupplied due to the buzzin avatar so they tend to be hard to trade. They are a
Medium High value.
Plushie
There are some plushies that are slightly more expensive than others, but as a whole there is not too much of a difference to list. Most plushies are valued about the same, which is
Very High.
The plushie buzz is the only plushie that has a significant value difference. They are also way oversupplied due to the buzzin avatar. Like the pirate buzz they also are hard to trade and are
Medium High
Relic
Relic is not a highly popular color, and has hugely deflated since it's release. For the time being it has stabilized at around a
Medium level.
Robot
The robot hissi and ogrin tend to be the most popular robots. They are
Medium High and easy to trade.
These robots are
Medium. They are slightly less popular and valued. They trade for other
Mediums mostly but robot value has a history of being sporadic and non consistent as a whole.
All other robots are
Medium Low and relatively hard to trade.
Royal
Royal is a hidden tower color and non zappable, so the price of getting one is always the same. It has a pretty stable worth because of that, around
Medium High. Species is not much of a factor with this color. Some species are more/less popular and are easier/harder to trade, but they are all worth approximately the same amount.
Sponge
These sponges are
Medium High to
Medium, leaning towards
Medium. Sponge isn't an overly wanted color, but when someone is seeking one it's generally one of these two.
These sponges are
Medium to
Medium Low, leaning towards
Medium Low
All other sponges are
Medium Low to
Low.
Spotted
The spotted lupe pretty popular and is about a
Medium. Some value it at
Medium High.
These spotteds are better than the orange and black spotteds, but still aren't great. They are a
Medium Low value.
All other spotteds are
Low value.
Swamp Gas
Swamp gas is still a very new color and has not yet fully stabilized, but the general consensus and recent trades show it about a
Medium. Will most likely change as the color ages.
Transparent
These transparents are a solid
Medium High value for the time being.
These transparents are
Medium, sometimes fluctuating to
Medium High depending on the trader.
All other transparents are
Medium Low.
Usuki
The value of usuki/quiguki pets usually stays around
Medium High level. Usukis are easier to trade than quigukis.
Water
Water pets are still fairly new and are trading at a
Medium High to
Medium level but may deflate over time.
Woodland
These woodlands are the most popular and sought after; They are a
Medium High value.
The woodlands in this section are slightly less popular and are about a
Medium value.
All other woodlands are not as sought after and range from a
Medium to
Medium Low value.
Wraith
The wraith gelert is very new and quite popular. Right now it's trading at about a
High value but I suspect it will deflate after a few months.
These wraith pets are pretty popular and trade at a
Medium High value generally.
All other wraiths trade at about a
Medium level.
Zombie
All zombies NOT listed below are
Medium to
Medium High depending on the trader.
These zombies are usually valued at
Medium Low, though some value them at
Medium
