If you knew me and what I do with my life,
you'd say I shouldn't complain.
Believe me, I've seen and heard so many things,
I'm surprised I've never gone insane.
You could say that I'm pretty famous,
but you may say I'm only just a pretty face.
People hate me for different reasons and in many ways,
it is so bad it reminds me of my childhood days.
I've gotten hurt from my clumsy and comical antics,
my nickname being "Danger" makes some people frantic.
I hate it when my band gets compared to a trio of blonde brothers,
but they don't understand that my brothers and I have accomplished
more than them!
Let's not forget the people called paparazzi that prey on my own kind
and like to tell stories that are far-fetched and untrue.
I've been called a "male diva"… all because of a person I played
named Shane Gray who I never want to turn out to be.
I've been called a bad boyfriend… all because of my ex-girlfriend
telling lies about me to get some attention and steal some fans from me…
until I told my side of the story.
I've been told my new girlfriend is cheating on me… there's a big gap in
age between her and me, so maybe her ex-boyfriend may on the rebound…
I can see some rough times in the future for me.
Yet I complain only every once in a while
because I've got so much that makes me happy and always smile.
I've got all my fans that have stayed loyal and true,
through the good and the bad, it's their love and support I value.
I've got a career that has grown over the past two years,
from a future that was unclear to a life that brings much cheer.
I've got a great family, who is there every step of the way,
my parents and brothers to keep me from going astray.
And now I realize that my life is not so bad,
I should forget all bad times and reflect on times that are glad.
I know that I am living the dream,
realizing I have a team looking out to see what is best for me.
I know that the way I live life the way it was meant to be,
like my dad always says: God always stands right beside me.
And so I'll remain the humble man my parents had raised nonstop,
to follow what I always say: "Live like you're on the bottom, even if you're on top."
November 4, 2008:
- Taylor posts a new video on her site. At the 4:20 mark, Swift holds up a Joe Jonas doll and says, See, this one even comes with a phone. So he can break up with other dolls. A few scenes later, she holds up a Taylor Swift doll and says, Stay away from him, ok?
- Taylor also goes on Ryan Seacrest show and talks about the 27 second phone call that led to the breakup… and that she went to the recording studio a few days after the breakup to record Forever and Always (lyrics shown on next section).
November 11, 2008:
- Taylor on Ellen: I'm not even going to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.
- Taylor's 2nd album releases and Forever and Always is included… Secret message in the lyrics is: "If you play these games, we're both going to lose."
November 12, 2008:
- There is confirmation on Joe and Camilla Belle dating… and Taylor puts the blame on Joe meeting Camilla for being the reason for the break up.

To Our Fans from Joe:
This blog is not an attack of anyone. Anytime you are in a relationship for any length of time there are going to be issues. Sometimes they resolve. Other times they lead to a change of heart. This was the case recently.
Several things I will state with all my heart…
I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me.
For those who have expressed concern over the "27 second" phone call. I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when someone else ends the call. The only difference in this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.
There were later attempts at communication that had no response.
I wish the best for the other person but could not sit back any longer and leave our fans with a wrong impression of the truth. Hope this helps enlighten a little.
June 2009:

June 16, 2009:
- The Jonas Brothers 4th album releases and a song Much Better is included (lyrics shown on next section). It is explained as reflecting Joe's life within the past year and how the fans are much better.
July 2009:
- In the second Rolling Stone magazine interview, Joe replies to the question about Much Better taking a swipe at Taylor by saying:
…it's like, 'I don't really want to say anything bad about this person, but I'm just going to write it.' That's just how it goes.
