September 5, 2009 - Lots of new affies!
August 23, 2009 - Hey everyone! So I haven't really updated in a month. I've been super busy with work and finished Paramedic school. I haven't added any new pixels, but I do have a few more affies!! Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check out my new Tips section of my page. It's important if you have a pixel page or if you are thinking of starting a pixel page.
July 23, 2009 - I am going to be busy with work over the weekend. I will try my best to continue through all of the customs I'm still working on! I am not going to make any more boards advertising custom pixels until I am done with these. If you have requested two pixels, the first one will be done, and once I finish the list, I will work on your second. With that, I have added yet another custom or two! Also added a new affies, Fresh Baked Pixels!
July 22, 2009 - I've added a Customs section to my page! I've been added to another guide, and have a few new affies! I've also updated my pixels to include some customs.
July 18, 2009 - So I'm kind of disappointed because I was going to be reviewed by two sites, and BOTH of them decided they weren't going to do reviews anymore :( But today I have added 2 new link exchanges, Button Bay and Glitteristic.
July 17, 2009 - Added Rainlight Pixels as an affie! Also a few new customs :)
July 16, 2009 - Added three new pixel affies! The Pixel Cafe, The Pixel Field, and Amber's Pixels! Added a few custom pixels. Also, new link exchanges!

I've decided to begin making custom pixels. I will tell you right now that I FAR MORE prefer to make Neo-related pixels, particularly items. This does NOT mean I will not do other pixels. I also have not yet attempted making actual Neopets, so if you have requested one, it may take me a little longer to make, but I will try my best!

Tips
If you are thinking of starting your own pixel page, or you have one but want to improve, here are some Tips!
#1 - Make it easy on yourself at first
If you are starting a new page, and the idea of creating your own pixels is intimidating, start by making pixels of existing items. Most of my page is like this, but mainly because I just really like mini versions of existing items.
#2 - Make the backgrounds TRANSLUCENT
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make the background of your pixels translucent!! If I use your pixels on my page, the background is blue. If you do not have a translucent background, it is very obvious because the background of your pixel will be white. It tends to look sloppy and may turn others away from using your pixels. Here is an example -
It's clear that the one on the left is translucent and the one on the right in not. Imagine how more obvious this would be if the user had a black background.
#3 - Do NOT steal other peoples pixels
NEVER use other peoples pixels as your own. Don't think others can't find where you got them from. And it can also be quite obvious if some pixels are intricately done while others are quite sloppy.
#4 - Stick with an overall theme
This is sort of opinionated, but I think it's easier and better if you try to stick with an overall theme. A lot of pages are exclusive to food pixels. Others, moreso like mine, concentrate on Neopets related pixels. The benefit of this is it's easier to name your pixel page, and if a user if looking for a specific pixel, they know your page will most likely have it.
#5 - Have coding for each pixel
When a user wants a pixel or pixels, they don't want to have to fiddle around with trying to make their own coding for it. It is ALWAYS a good idea to have the coding premade for each pixel. The other benefit to this is the user will most likely keep the credit on. If they have to create their own coding, who is to say they're going to take the time to link the pixels back to you?
#6 - Get rid of the blue/purple border
It is always important to make sure both on your page, and in the coding for each pixel, there is NO ugly blue/purple border around the pixels when they're linked. This is a very easy fix. After you type the location of the image and end the quote, hit the spacebar and then type border="0".
So it would look something like this:
IMAGELOCATION.jpg" border="0"
And this is the difference it makes:
