Depending on what your theme you may want the grunge Elegant Punk Guitar or if you plan on doing some digging, you might want to pick up a Respirator Work Mask. Just remember to pay attention, these items go fast.

After you've styled yourself to our wonderful city, I suppose you're hungry. You should head over to Molten Morsels, just remember to not bite into the plates or you could find yourself with a few less teeth, but if you are trying to get the Tooth Faerie avatar, then disreguard that suggestion. Take a peak at the menu and see what strikes your fancy. | Item | Locate | Item | Locate |

Q: Will people enjoy reading my guide?
A: The coals burn brightly in favour of this.
Igneot is one of the more interactive places of Moltara, think of him as a magic eight ball. He can only answer yes, no and maybe. It is unclear as to what he actually does or if his purpose serves beyond asking and recieving a generic answer, but he is an interesting character. If you word your questions correctly, you may find some humor in Igneot.

Q: So, I heard you like Mudkips?
A: The darkness is here and will not be overcome.
I'm sure you've noticed those odd glowing creatures in the city by this point, question is, what do they do? However, there is something I must clear up collecting the worms does not mean you will be granted instant access to the magma pool nor do the collecting of the worms affect when you can swim in magma pool.Looking for the petpet combinations? Click here.
There are ten (10) worms to collect as shown.

Worms, worms, worms galore, in the beginning when the worms started appearing users would click the worms only to be present with a message that they found it, but nothing to put it in.

First, you need something to capture the worms with, so head over to Lampwyck's and get yourself an Empty Lantern this is a no trade item, like the worms, so you cannot sell it. Suggestion: If you don't want your worms or lantern stolen, put them in you SDB or surround them with Pant Devil Attractors. Now, let's go worm hunting, here is where to find them. The creme circle indicates where you find the rainbow worm.

When you find one with the lantern, you'll be presented with this screen.

What do the worms actually do? Well, you need all ten in order to enter the Dark Cave. Without a lighted source, you'll see this when you try to explore.

After you collected all the worms, head back to your inventory. Click the lantern and on the drop down box, select Fill it with worms, it'll be the last option in the drop-down box. You'll now have no worms in your inventory and a no trade Brightly Lit Lantern.
Once you have your lantern, head over to the Dark Cave. You'll see a message about how the worms illuminate the caves and how you can proceed forward. But now its a question of which way do you go?

You can guess, but you'll probably spend a while guessing and going back to the start. An alternative method can be seen here at Apable's Solution Table. If you make any wrong turns you'll hit a dead end or come keyboard to face with the giant lava monster, so make sure you are positive before you click.
Oh, its my big debut! Hi Mom!!

The lantern you get at the end is a no trade Dim Lantern. You can head back to Lampwyck's to hand over the lantern, you'll see a message similiar to this:

But there is a wearable lantern to be had if this is the first time you are collecting worms. Its the Friendly Glowing Lantern. So, if it is your first time, you'll recieve the wearable, any other time, when you turn in the Dim Lantern you'll recieve a thanks in return. Thankfully, the Friendly Glowing Lantern is a buyable NP item and you can find them on the shop wizard.

In order to make all the petpets you'll need Seven (7) of Shiny Obsidian, Seven (7) of Scrap Metal and Stone, Seven (7) of Miscellaneous Gears, Seven (7) of Red Moltite. Once you have the pieces of the petpet you want to make, head over to Tangor's Workshop to begin making them. Make sure to click on the items to make the petpets and not any other items in your inventory.

The Vaggendotra 5000 is wearable! How awesome is that?

With the release of the Magma pool, there is currently two was to get your molten pet. Sadly, Magma isn't an option for the Fountain Faerie Quest. :(Like Robot and MSP, Magma is one of the few colors you can obtain through zapping your pet. It may take one, it may take one hundred, but its all random. If zapping isn't your forte, you'll have to refresh for a paint coat.
Your other option is the dreaded and random Magma Pool. There isn't a set time where you can enter, its random for everyone. For instance, the day the magma pool could be accessed my friend, Anette, was able to go past the guard without a problem, but it took a month (give or take a few days) before I was lucky enough to catch the guard asleep.
If you weren't lucky enough to get in without refreshing you'll see a very viligant guard blocking your way.

Contrary to what he says, you don't have to go read books to your pet or visit the mayor everyday, you simply need to refresh. If you weren't the lucky few that were warmly (more like scorchingly) greeted and let in you'll have to wait until he falls asleep.

Your time frame of how long the guard stays asleep is short, so have your mind made up beforehand or you'll miss your chance. Select the pet you would like to have a new color coat, you'll be brought to a new page with your newly molten pet, congratulations!

The downside to swimming in the magma pool is you can only swim once a week. If you try to re-enter the pool you'll be present with this message.

However, a week really isn't that long is it?

Q: Can you collect the worms on your side?
A: No, because they can be turned in for a NP item.
Q: Can Shiny Obsidian, Miscellaneous Gears and Scrap Metal and Stone be collected on sides?
A: No, but if you happen to find the Scrap Metal and Stone in an RE(random event) you won't be penalized.
Q: Do any of the Moltara shops ever restock?
A: Yes. There are less than 30 items in each shop so when they stock, the items are usually gone in seconds. You have to be quick if you ever hope to succeed.
Q: Can the Moltara worms be sold for profit?
A: No, they cannot be sold, traded, or donated. You can, however, put them in your gallery, safety deposit box or discard them to restart your worm hunt.
Q: Can I use safe transfers without losing the magma color?
A: Yes, just so long as you don't directly pound the pet, it will remain magma if its swam in the magma pool.
Q: How old does my account have to be to adopt a magma pet from the pound?
A:
