I am
Keyial, the founder of
Serendipity. I run this adoption/zapping agency. How the pet holding works is that we adopt "unwanted" pets from the pound or from people who don't want them anymore, and then we zap them until they're a "desireable" color/species that will help them get adopted. We stop zapping them and put them officially up for adoption. If no one adopts after a certain time, we keep zapping. We zap multiple pets at a time, and zap every day, or at least every day we can get on.
When a pet is up for adoption, people like
you can submit
applications for the pet. What an application is is explained in that section. Once an application from one person is submitted, the pet is held for one week to give a chance for other people to submit an app. Then the applications are judged for up to a day, depending on how many we get. The best application submitter is given the pet after the judging. If, for some reason, the person doesn't want/can't have the pet anymore, then the pet is given to the second best submitter.
~Rules~
✦Your account must be over four months old.
✦I only do safe-transfers. If you have already used up your safe-transfers for the month, I will wait, and if I have used my transfers, I will expect you to wait. If you're really desperate to get the pet quick, I'll do a pound transfer, but I am in no way responsible if the pet gets adopted by another player.
✦If you want the pet to be a different gender, I'd be happy to change it for you if you can't.
✦Please do not apply if you are going to trade.
✦Please use the phrase "the Chupacabra ate my socks" somewhere creative in your application so I know you read my rules. :)
✦Please apply for the pet you want on your main, even if it is going to your side. But mention if it is going to your side, please.
✦You can apply for pets while they are being zapped if you like them, just be sure to mail me letting me know, and I'll stop zapping them for you. But you still have to make an application. In this case, someone else could also send in an application if they wanted, but sending in apps would only be open for five days.

Applications
An application is something you send to someone who has an up for adoption pet, either on a petpage or through a neomail, and says that you want the pet, and helps convince the owner (
me) that you would make a good owner.
I don't ask for very fancy or intricate applications at all. A neomail application with three or four sentences would be completely fine. Applications are mainly just to let me know you want the pet, but they also help me in a situation where more than one person is applying. I just want to know a few things about you, and why you want the pet, and past things you have done that could help me trust you more. If you want to go above and beyond with an amazing mind-blowing petpage application, with artwork, personality, story and all, then that's awesome of you. That will definitely help you if more than one person is applying for the pet.
If you feel you want to redo your application to make it better, feel free to do that, but I won't extend the date for you. If you're doing a petpage application, feel free to use a premade layout. I understand lots of people can't code effectively. (me included!) Also, don't feel bad if you can't draw. It's completely fine. I look for trustworthiness, not just effort.
Please, PLEASE have your application be semi-literate. I can understand a few typos and spelling errors here or there, but nothing like "I luv tis peet becuz he iz awsom, nd im gunna pant him royul".

What browser do you use?Internet Explorer, but if your layout on a petpage app isn't IE compatible, I can switch to Firefox or Google Chrome. :)Can I apply for more than one pet? Yes, but no more than two at a time.
