Overall Ways to Easily Make NP in Neopia

There are many ways to make money!

Playing the risky stock market (when you can afford it, buy low & sell high), having a successful shop, and playing the games. I make most of my neopoints from playing select games where high scores are quite easy. If you can think of any other easy and quick ways to make money, please neomail me so I can improve the newbie page.

The Games are mostly flash games, so make sure you have it installed. If you cannot load flash onto your computer for some reason then play the HTML games (they are slower) or go on quests, and get the free stuff every day! You will still be able to make lots of NP if you play often and every day!!

WeedleSqueak's Favourite Overall NP Scoring Games

If you are a newbie with hardly any NP, then play the free games first. Once you have practiced enough, don't forget to submit your score to earn the neopoints!!! You can submit scores 3 times a day. Then when you have earned some money, play the games that cost to play - they are expensive because the wins are higher.

If you play each of these games every day, you will earn thousands. Also the more often you practice the higher your scores will get on the games, and the higher your earnings.

• The Wheel of Excitement (FLASH)
  It costs 150np a play. You can play this game every 2 hours. I have often hit the jackpot (10,000NP!!) about once a week, and more often the other large NP prizes, since I play the wheel about 10x a day. WARNING: Even if you don't click the button you still get the "prize" so make sure your inventory is empty before spinning as you can no longer avoid the pant devil. You can move your items to your shop or safety deposit box for safe keeping when playing the wheel. If you land on the lava ghoul your selected pet will lose health points, and the sickness skull will make your pet fall ill. Instead of spending loads of NP on a cure - rather visit the healing springs regularly until your pet is healed.

• Buried Treasure (HTML)
  Buried treasure is worth doing when you have some NP to spare. It costs 200np and you can play it every 3 hours. You might win nothing, or you could win 5000NP or even dubloons. (You can sell dubloons in your shop to save up for something really nice!).

• Potato Counter (HTML)
  This is a free and easy game to play. If you can count the potatos in under 30 seconds you earn 100np or 50np if you guess in under a minute. You can play this 3 times a day and win an easy 300np a day!

• Potato Counter Extreme (FLASH)
  This is a free and easy game to play. You have to accurately count the potatos as they fly past. You can play this 3 times a day and win an easy 850np a day!

• Kiko Match II (FLASH)
  This is fairly easy to play and it is free. You can earn neopoints from this game 3 x a day, so make sure you practice first before you start submitting.

• Meerca Chase II (FLASH)
  Easy to play and free. You can earn neopoints from this game 3 x a day. I'ts best to play on Medium difficulty as you get a better score.

• NeggSweeper (HTML)
  It costs 30np to play. There is a 5,000np daily limit you can earn. This is exactly the same as the Minesweeper game that comes with Windows. If you've never played Minesweeper before, I suggest you practice playing the Windows version which before you play the Neopet one. It's easy money if you're experienced. When you complete the game with no mistakes, you win the jackpot.

• Cheat (HTML)
  50 NP per play
  A very easy card game once you get used to it, but its time consuming. And every time you catch a cheater you win NP , so even if you lose a game you can still earn the cost of the game back. I love this game because you can earn big nps all day long - there is no limit to play. You also receive trophies for your pet once you have passed certain levels and get rare battlecards to sell or use in the battledome.

• Go! Go! Go! (HTML)
  50 NP per play
  Not as easy as cheat but more fun and the same rewards and trophies apply. A time-consuming game. There is no limit to play.

• Pyramids (HTML)
  50 NP per play
  Also a card game and very easy to play. You can earn a maximum of 5000np per day, so I usually play until I reach the limit. A nice earner!

• Guess the weight of the marrow (HTML)
  Bizarre game but its free. This game runs once a day at a random time. If you are one of the first 10 people to guess the weight correctly you will win a rare item.

Freebies To Be Found In And Around Neopia

There are lots of free things in Neopia once you know where to find them. You don't have to be rich to enjoy neopets!

• MoneyTree
  If your internet connection is fast and your are quick, you can get things people have donated at the money tree. You may have to spend a while trying before you get anything and there are often awesome things up for grabs! If you have Internet Explorer browser, you can press F5 to quickly refresh the page.

• Free Games
  There are a few free games you can play to earn np throughout the day (see listed games above)

• Advent Calendar
  The Christmas Advent Calendar only works in the month of Celebrating (December). Every day you can come here to get a daily free gift. It may be Neopoints, a Rare Item, or junk!

• Tombola
  Every day you get a free spin. You could win a big prize. Sometimes the Tombola is closed and he needs your donations to reopen and give stuff to the needy. Its always a good idea to donate in Neopia, just like in life. It always comes back to you!

• Fruit Machine
  You get a free spin every day and can win a piece of fruit.

• Coltzan's Shrine
  The spirit of Coltzan may bless your pet with foods, levels, stats, dubloons, etc.
  Visit often throughout the day.

• Soup Kitchen
  The soup faerie will feed your pet for free, if you are poor (have under 3000 NP ).

• Free Omelette
  Every day you can get a piece of free omelette from the tyrannian giant omelette which you can feed to your neopet 3 times or sell. Use the shop wizard to see how much it is worth as some pieces are quite rare! If you only have a few pets the daily free omelette will be more than enough food for them as you can get 3 bites out of each omelette. Sometimes the omelette runs out. Just come back later.

• Healing Springs
  If your pet is sick or injured, go to the healing springs every 30 minutes until they are completely healed. Often you will get potions that are useless to you, but you can sell them in your shop. If your pet has a disease - you will have to make him visit the springs every 45 minutes until he is cured. I know from first-hand experience that it works. Patience is the key!

• Daily Puzzle
  1 free play a day. Win NP or items!

• Underwater Fishing
  Fish with each pet. Try again every 8 hours or so.

• The Snowager
  Sometimes when the Snowager is asleep you can get rare items from his cave. Be aware that sometimes he will wake up once you have entered, and blast ice at your pets, so you will need to visit the Healing Springs to restore hit points.
  Times worth checking: 6-7am NST, 2-3pm NST, 10-11pm NST.

• Turmaculus
  Similar to the Snowager.
  Read the guide if you want to know when he'll be awake.

• Deserted Tomb
  1 free play a day. Win NP or items!

• Deadly Dice
  The Count is awake from midnight to 1am NST.

• Monthly Freebies
  1 visit per month. Each pet gets a food item and you get 2000 NP!

• The Shop of Offers
  A rich slorg pays you 50-100 NP just for visiting!

• Mysterious Symol Hole
  Let your petpet climb in and explore each day. He might find NP or items.

• Faerie Crossword
  Earn 600 NP each day if you can solve the puzzle in under 5 minutes. Here's a handy guide.

• Meridell Rubbish Dump
  You might be able to pick up some nice items here.

• Free Bank Interest
  Open a bank account. Every day you will get free interest on your daily balance!! The more you have in the account the higher your balance.
  Remember to draw your free interest first thing, BEFORE you deposit or withdraw money from the bank or it won't allow you to get your interest.

Go On Quests To Earn Rare Items

You can go on the quests below and find items for potions. You will be rewarded with some neopoints and an item or a few items if you can complete the task in the required time-limit. Be aware that sometimes you will not win very much and find that you spent too much.

The best way to tackle this dilemma is to use the shop wizard to find out what each item will cost you first before you buy them. I would not spend more than 600np on a quest and 1000np on the snow-faerie's quest as the prizes are very seldom worth more than this.

Tip: You can also ditch the quest if it is too expensive, and return after the time limit has expired and try the next one. You will be told that you failed the quest and to go away, but just refresh the page and you will be allowed to try a new quest. Lately the quests have been EXTREMELY expensive!!!

• The Snow Faerie's Quest - her prizes are the best as you often get rare items, and NP!!

• The Witch's Tower - her prizes are usually rare creepy things but low NP winnings.

• The Kitchen Quest - now moved from Maraqua to Mystery Island.

• The Esophagor - usually the most expensive quests with pathetic prizes (in my experience).

• The Brain Tree - How to play the Brain Tree:
  Visit the Brain Tree to get the quest question. It will ask you for a date and a place. Then go to the Esophagor and do that quest. You will not get a prize but one answer to the braintree question. Do another quest for the Esophagor and the same will happen, you will get the other answer. Go back to the brain tree and submit both answers.
  You will get 1 prize for doing basically 3 quests. I don't think its worth it.

Note: Random Faerie Quests are different, they will bless your pet with increased abilities or permanent hitpoints, so the cost of the quest depends on how you value this prize. You can also cancel these quests if they are too expensive.
