Topic & Other Info

This Month's topic is The Ocean.
It's summer time, and who doesn't love going to the beach? If you don't, then you at least know the beach and bathing suits and sunshine are all signs of summertime! Or the Bahamas. But either way, the Ocean is this months theme. Photographs, drawings, and writing of ALL TYPES are accepted. Please be appropriate and respect TNT's Rules! You do not need to be on the list of participants to participate!

This Show Ends August 20th!
 Voting will be from August 21st - August 25th!

This story will be written until someone ends it. The cover will be drawn until someone finishes that as well. This could take until a year from now, but let's not take THAT long. xD You must be on the participant list to participate. Participants who have contributed to the book so far will have a strike through their name. The person whose turn it is currently will be underlined. If you are listed as an Artist & Author (Both), you will be allowed a double strike-out, meaning you can write and draw for one book.

PS. If you have an idea for a title, let Lola know. To submit a title, you MUST submit a portion to the book/draw a part of the cover.

Story #1

It wasn't the first time Kevin lost a match. The only part that made it more embarrassing was that he lost to his dad. He had his girlfriend, Jenni, his mom, even his grandparents watching him play! And his dad, his 53 year old father, beat the 17 year old in a simple game of soccer.
He walked off the field with his head down, and though he wanted to congratulate his dad and say well done, he didn't feel he could. His face was red enough already and if he turned around, he was sure his dad would just say a joke about the whole thing, which would make him feel worse about the situation.
No one said anything, but his grandmother called out, *Kevin sweetheart, don't you want to the picnic lunch we packed?*
He mustered up the courage to turn around and look at them. *No thanks, I'm just going to go home.*
Jenni looked at him curiously, but as she ran up to him to ask him what was wrong, his car pulled away. She, of course, had her car, and she couldn't let him go like that. She jumped into her car and followed him, leaving his family standing in middle of the soccer field, while she turned onto the busy streets of St. Louis.

Welcome to Showtime & Endless Possibilities. Hosted by the fantastic guild, Adrenaline, with your host, Lola! I'm sure you are wondering, what on Earth could this be? Well fear not, just 2 fun activities that are too entertaining for your own good. xD
Anywho, here's a small description of each activity.

Showtime

Showtime is where it's your turn to be the director, the boss, you know, the head-honcho! A topic will be posted, and YOU will have to write something. Either a skit, poem, short story, any form of writing you can think of! But of course, this activity is NOT limited to only the wonderful writers of our guild, but also to the fantastic artists, photographers, and other types or artists our members are. If you draw, draw the topic. Makeup artist? Paint your face to go with the flow of things. Get creative! All entries will be posted above, in the Showtime box, so look for yours!

Endless Possibilities

Now this activity is for writers and artists as well. This time, someone is going to start a short story...or long story depending how many people write a part of it. They will write between 3 to 7 paragraphs (unless it's dialogue), to add into our guild's story. Then, that person will neomail someone else saying your turn! And you have to come and add on however much you'd like. Each story will need at least 5 participants, so unless you are #5 or higher, DON'T END THE BOOK! All authors that wrote a section will appear after their paragraphs. Now, artists. We can't have a novel without a cover! So here's your challenge, which I think may be harder than the author's portion! Someone will start drawing up a cover. That person will neomail another artist, saying YOUR TURN! With a link to the image and whatever they've gotten done on the cover. At least 3 people must help draw up the cover, so don't finish it unless your #3 or higher!

Now in order for this whole activity to work, we need participants! You only need to be on the participant list for the Endless Possibilities activity. If you aren't interested in the Endless Possibilities activity, you do not need your name here. Anyone can submit things to the Showtime activity, but Endless possibilities needs a list of who is writing/drawing. So if you are interested in being added to the list, neomail Lola, and let her know! Make sure you tell her what group(s) you want to be put in, author, artist, or both!
