Pah! Love is useless; it gets in the way. I highly doubt that I will ever find one that captures my heart...

Teritaa (Owned by Cerrice) and Vrun
Teritaa Padded silently along in an open clearing by a frozen lake. It was too cold here and she was looking to get back to her den. She enjoyed reading and writing by herself, but though she was to proud to admit it...she was lonely, she didn't have much experience with social manners though she seemed prim and proper. She sighed and shook off the thought. Shivering with the cold she headed forwards.
Suddenly the ice on the lake next to Teritaa exploded in a certain spot. Shards flew into the air, landing with a clatter on the ice surrounding the hole. A dark green shape rose from the lake, fur plastered to its body. Her bangs were stuck to her face. The Xweetok climbed from the freezing water, shaking herself slightly. She stood dripping on the ice, then trotted onto the solid ground. Suddenly she spotted Teritaa. Her back arched and her eyes narrowed. "Who're you!?
Teritaa spun round on the icy ground. Snow fell thickly through the air. Her blue eye narrowed behind her glasses. "Don't sass me! I haven't done anything to you! You don't have to get mad!" Her own fur puffed and she arched her back. The two blue stones that she wore on her tail and around her neck crackled warningly. When Teritaa was mad, or at the hight of her power, all of that power could be channeled through those stones. When they crackled it was a warning.
She glared at her, relaxing her body. Her orange-brown eyes were still tense. "Alright, relax." She sat down, bringing up a paw and licking it before drawing it around and behind her ears. "Sheesh. Somebody's cranky today.
Teritaa raised an eyebrow! "Me?! That's a good one," She said sarcatically, "Yeah I wasn't the one who spat some sass and yelled out 'Who're you?'" Teritaa was pretending to be angry but through that mask she was relaxing, but she was scared too.
She flicked her tail at Teritaa. "I simply wasn't expecting someone to be here. After all, it is the middle of winter, and normally when I swim here, no one is around." She snorted, standing up and stretching. "So. Where exactly are we?
Teritaa was at ease. "Sorry," She said quietly, "It's just I don't see anyone her either and that's because my den is near here." She thought for a second. "Would you like to see my den?
Why not," She said, sighing. "I have nothing else to do, nowhere else to go. Let's see then." She shook herself a final time, ridding her pelt of water. Now that she was dry, more features were visible- red stripes on her face and forehead, a necklace, earrings, and an odd blue mark on her back. And her tails- they were odd. Two tails, each rather short, and somewhat bristly.
Teritaa noticed the xweetox's odd features but she was used to odd things so thought nothing of it...much. She sighed slightly and flicked her transparent dragonfly wings. "Follow me then." She trotted to a path she knew well thought it was covered in snow. She had only selpt in her dedn for one night and she still got chills everytime she started off for her new home. Thinking she spoke, "Would you like some hot acorn mash when we get there?
Hot...acorn mash." She gave Teritaa a skeptical look, and shrugged. "Maybe. If it's good." She shivered slightly, her paws crunching on the snow. "Is your den warm?" She muttered, her breath clouding in front of her.
Yes it is quite warm. I use a roman fire technique to heat my entire tree." She shrugged slightly. "You probably think that's weird. Oh well. Let's be off" Teritaa started down the unseen snow path towards her home.
Then I'm coming in." She shivered again, her eyes lighting up with the thought of warmth.
