Hello Sakshi, and welcome to my application for Anarosil (who I will be referring to as Ana throughout the rest of this page).
A Tale Told on Paper
Prologue
Many years ago, when Neopia was first created, the first inhabitants found ways to express their feelings, thoughts, and ideas through different ways.

Our story starts with art, a piece done by two young sisters, done with sharpened charcoal on a rough paper, up near the area of a modern day Shenkuu.
Drawing
Go entertain yourselves! An older women told two little girls, as they crowded her legs. I believe there is some paper in my room. Go draw or something. She said, shooing them away.
Both girls raced to her mother's room, which was up in the treetops along with the rest of their house.
They greedily took the paper, and piece of charcoal and started arguing about who would get to draw first.
Me me me! I'm the youngest, it's fair!
No! I know how to draw better! You can color it in! The eldest answered, figuring her sister would do a decent job with the coloring. Almost in all the lines, pretty blues and greens... maybe even yellow. It would be perfect.
The younger sister started to protest, but finally agreed.
The eldest drew, and drew, and drew, until the drawing was perfected. It was a majestic dragon, one she saw flying through the skies one day. All the adults told her not to be silly since dragons did not exist.
After she finished, she handed the drawing to her younger sister, I have finished, go color it with berries and roots from the lowlands. You can make lots of colors there.
The younger nodded, and went off with the help of her young friend. Together, they colored the picture using the most colorful berries they could find. Reds and blues and greens and purples and more covered the page after they finished.
They brought it back, and the older girl was in tears after she found out what had happened to her drawing. As she sobbed, she told her younger sister to keep it, that she never wanted to see the drawing ever again.
Magic
So the picture of Ana was hidden in a small home in the middle of the Shenkuu mountains, up in a tree, for many many many years.
At this time, a sullen Hissi was exploring the area, holding his staff and his head hanging low. He had been through a lot in his long life, and knew he still had another long part of life to go. He learned black magic, in hopes to help his land, and was banished. He became bitter and angry. One night, he saw a vision of a 'Magnificent Rainbow Dragon' flying through the skies near Shenkuu.
He was here to find this dragon.
And why?
The challenge was calling to him. He wanted to see if a dragon as great as that could perhaps join him, so he could rightfully take back what was taken away...
After getting there, and rifling through many tree homes, he came upon the picture two girls created together a long time ago. The Hissi knew that this is the dragon he was looking for, and spoke in an ominous voice,
O' Great Rainbow Dragon... I will use my power to bring you into this life, as a vision brought me here to do this favor. I ask you to join me, I ask you to feel the wind, and breath the air, and smell the softly scented flowers that surround this place. I ask you to look at me humbly, and realize the good I have done you. I ask you to feel your greatness, and your outstanding color. I ask you to BREATHE, Great Rainbow Dragon, and join me as living!!!
His words fell silent to the wind, and then everything was unnaturally still. After about a minute of the uncomfortable tension, the Hissi sighed and let the paper fall to the ground, slightly frustrated. That is not the Great Rainbow Dragon. He decided, That was a drawing depicting the Great Rainbow Dragon. He or she must be around somewhere... He slithered away, and moved on to a different house.
As soon as he turned away though, a hand from the paper slowly peeled away, and clawed itself out in the fresh air. After that, the arm followed, then the torso, the other arm, the head, the legs, and the tail followed,
until the picture did, indeed, become the Great Rainbow Dragon. Although she, for she was a girl, had no wings, she perched herself on the window and took flight, climbing higher and higher until swallowed by the clouds.
When the Hissi returned several hours later to study the picture, perhaps he was missing something, all he found was a blank sheet of paper.

Name: Anarosil (AN-UH-rose-SIL)
Nickname: Ana
Species: Draik
Color: Rainbow
Special Markings: Ancient tribal markings where the meaning has been lost throughout the times, especially on head. A striped pattern down the belly, and many spineless fins along the back and on the tail.
The fact that Ana came from a picture greatly influences her personality. She is very shy, and self-conscious about what she looks like. She is prone to be untrusting of others, and even after she found her true family was unable to fully trust them as well. Another thing is she isn't very intelligent, when it comes to more school subjects, but you can't blame her, due to the fact she came from paper. Also, her whole life is her travelling, which isn't very much time to learn. On that note, she is smart with survival skills. Overall, she is a kind dragon, not the type to go around and hurt people or anything.
She doesn't have any special powers that can let her do incredible things, except that she can fly, although she doesn't have wings.
Her main goal in life is to pay it forward, even after she finds a permanent home, such as helping a small Neopet finding their toy, although they will never know it's her. It strange though, it seems that a rainbow is always left behind after a good deed, although no rain or sun might be present. It's all she can do to thank the person who brought her to life.
Traits
Why Ana?
With the deflation of Draiks there have been a lot of Draiks, Pirate Draiks in particular, up for adoption. So why did I choose Ana over all the others?
Truth be told, I can't give you a straight answer. Maybe the fact that she was pirate gave me a 'blank slate' for ideas, and just happened to think of the character that I have given Ana when I found her UFA?
Or it might be my obsession with 'A' names. (I know that my pets on neo don't really support that). Whenever I have written a story in real life, my character always has names starting with 'A'. Ann, Ari, Artemis, Aden, Avery...
By the time I complete my neo family, I hope to have two Draiks (I may end up with one or two more, though, depending on color releases). Ana, and a pet I'm trading for, GBA.
And since I hope to get premium, this is what I would like my main to look like.
If for some reason I can't get premium, this account will look the same, except Xafinna would be moved off onto xiaolight_girl.
Future
Customization
This would be Ana's main customization. All together, the outfit should cost a little less than 400k, and 150 NC. Overall, I have to say that's pretty good.
Also, it is subject to change. I'm still waiting for TNT to release the perfect foreground and a handheld item, to finish off Ana's customization. Sadly, I do not think they exist yet.

Petpet
-When it came to Ana's petpet, I first thought that he or she should be rainbow. But after looking at all the rainbow choices and finding no suitable petpet for her, I thought, why not go for the opposite?
This led me to the Seti, just a normal one unless I am blessed with a faerie petpet paint brush someday. He, Bark, would be the opposite of Ana's shy and agreeable personality.
Ana first found Bark with his leg caught underneath some rocks, from a small landslide, barking and whimpering. Being the nice dragon that she is, Ana stops to help, and gains her faithful companion, who happens to be sarcastic and stubborn. Bark rides right in the dip between Ana's two arms, on her back.
Petpage/Story
This is something I really enjoy doing. As you can see, I already have a few of Ana's chapters written up, and her design and character all set up. It would be a simple matter of just putting it on her petpage. Here is an example of what Ana's petpage would look like if I were given the chance to adopt her.

Of course, a few things would be added and taken out as time went on, but that's the basic idea.
More proof that I would actually do something with Ana petpage-wise, is with Echo and with Zaunea. The first is a traditional story/character/art page for him, while the second is a cute fun 'Flying Guide of Neopia'.

On Neopets
-As you know, I'm Ann, and I have been playing neopets for about five years now, and still have my first account.
At first, I was in love with Xweetoks, which probably accounts to the multiple Xweetoks that I have acquired. In the past year, I decided to branch out and now have a few other species.
I can mostly be found at the PC, trying to search for the pets to fill up my last two accounts. Another place you can find me is the AAA or in the games room, trying to gain neopoints to get the various paint brushes I need for my cross paintings.
Or, I am working on making my pets perfect, whether that be customization, their petpages/lookups, and paint.

My first account, made when I was 11 (I think). And I still have it! Woo! I know 64 months isn't quite as impressive as the 100+ accounts, but 64 months is still a pretty big number, and I'm proud of it. It's also my main.
Second account, and just a holding account, where I plan on having some Hissi's and Xweetoks. (Cid and Hynue for sure). Side account.
Started out as a side, but turned into my lab account. When I zap, I zap to either trade or adopt out. (Depends). I don't have any plans on whose going to stay there for sure. Lab account.
I just made this account not too long ago. Will probably end up with all my babies on it, plus one more pet. Side account.
Like bassoonpiano, I made this account not very long ago. I have no clue who will end up on this account. Side account.
In Real Life
I'm a sixteen year old, who adores writing, music, the color green, and penguins.
I play bassoon, and with that includes youth symphony, school band, school symphony, private lessons (both teaching and receiving) and a music camp over the summer.
I also pride myself in my schoolwork, which is why I have a 3.98 GPA, (Lowest grade ever was an A-). Music and school is basically my whole rl.
I also have friends, no worries. ;D
Why Me?
Why me over other people to adopt Ana? The one's who can code amazing and who can produce beautiful art, or the super rich ones, or even the one's who have all complete pets?
I love this site. It's my one place to go to relieve stress from school, my parents, my friends, my music. It's place where I can work for things just for me, not for anyone else, like I am working hard for Ana.
Some of my pet's may not be complete, sure, but that's something I come on the site to slowly do. If I did it in all of two days, what else do I have to work on?
I love working for the pet's I want, and working on the pet's I already have.
And although they are just pixels, I have grown very attached to each and every pet you find directly below here. They all mean something super special to me, and I know for a fact that Ana would join that group. She already has.
And that's why I believe I would be the best owner for Ana. I will not only work on her as one of my pets, but I will love her as a character, someone who could almost exist as a person, and someone who could be one of my best friends.
Family
Here is my neopets family as of right now. Of course, we would all like to see Ana join us.

If there are pets on my accounts that are not listed here, they are either UFT or currently zapping. (I'll take this chance to remind you that Ana will never be UFT).
I created xiaolin_grand_master, who I call Grand. She was my first pet ever, and she is still with me, which makes me a happy camper. I hope to paint her Royal, and then Desert (Or trade for a Royal Xweetok, then just paint her desert) for her crosspaint. She is Zaunea's 'assistant,' but don't let that fool you. She's the one who is actually in charge of the forest, and just let's Zaunea think what she wants. I think Echo and her also have a little somethin' going on.
I also created Zaunea myself, about a year after I created xiaolin10413. She stayed red, until Xweetok Day Y10, when speckled came out. I painted her the same day. Boochi got her at the beginning of Y13, and after awhile of staying baby, she is back to speckled. She is our woodland princess, and likes to think she rules the forest where our family lives. Her wings are just for show, and she is one of the most energetic of all the family.
Xafinna was the first pet I found from the pound that I instantly fell in love with, and I have had him ever since, despite several characters that have failed. As of right now, I am thinking of a character who's just emotionless, who people might think he is evil. He's just misunderstood. One characteristic that has stayed through the years is his solid red eyes. (He can't see very well).
Hynue was the first pet I applied for that I actually was able to adopt, two years ago. He was also my first Hissi. Although he has gone through several failed characters like Xafinna, when I saw Ana which character quickly came together. I can't give too much away, because I'm about to write how he plays in Ana's story in the next chapter, coming up now. I will give you a hint though, he is a magician, and does have some black magic, although he thinks he's great, but not that great.

Heres a list of songs that I believe fit with Ana somehow. It could be character or story or her name. It would be awesome if you listened to them all at some point, but it's not necessary.
1. Drawing by Bare/unclothed/ Ladies
I chose this song not for the crazy lyrics themselves, or for the insane actual music, but the combination. It's about imagination, and drawing. It's also childlike, and a child is the one who thought up Ana.
2. Rainbow Veins by Owl City
This song for obvious reasons, after Rosil 'ruined' Ana by coloring her picture in, and gave her live rainbow appearance.
3. Boston by Augustana
This song is about starting over new, and Ana does this twice. Once when she is able to escape the paper, and once again when she decides to leave Shenkuu.
4. You Found Me by The Fray
This song is perfect for when Ana finds her new family (hopefully ours), while she was broken and uncertain, after many many years of travelling. Much like Boston, in meaning, but instead of leaving her home, for life on the road, leaving life on the road, for home.
5. Fantasy in D Minor by Mozart
First time I ever heard this song (piano solo) I fell in love with it. It starts out slow and sad, (Just like Ana's life) and then goes into a very pretty, melody, that is somewhat happy, then goes into a crazy difficult section, and repeats the patterns in different orders.
I feel like these feelings go perfectly with Ana's story, starting from when she was first drawn.
