Hi! I am user dizziedino and I am interested in adopting Saki. :3 I'm not the best at coding... it will take too long and I'd miss the deadline, so I hope this simple application will be ok. ^-^ UC pets are...well...intimidating. I realize s/he is going to get alot of attention from alot of people....I understand my chances are slim to none as you all get flooded with apps...but figure I throw in a try. ^^; also i was not forced to do this in anyway shape or form! i just couldnt fit all this in a neomail.... plus the neomail filters have a habit of looking for bad words that don't exist. O____x


About me

in RL: I was born with a neurological defect called Aspergers syndrome. As a little kid it really affected my communication and socialization skills. Over time I pretty much outgrew it but I still have issues communicating ideas though not as badly. I work at a copy & print place and do freelance graphic design as sort of a side thing.
In neo: I started playing neopets back in its very early days.But really started becoming active around the tail end of the Tyraninan war when I discovered the beauty contest.


Why do I want saki?
Ive been trying to get a uc faerie for sometime, ever since my own faerie zafara (melissu) was auto converted during the change over.... Faerie zafaras didnt make the uc cut. Im still upset at tnt for that. I liked their look :( most of the old faeries have a grace and beauty to them that, sadly, the newer ones dont really have. I also am in need of a re shield for my faerie account dizzydragon. Paintbrushes are expensive and boochi seems to like me. ;-;


Plans?
She (female would fit the character I have in mind ^.^) will of course be fed and kept happy. I'll make her a petpage, lookup, and get a matching petpet you know, the basics. :3 But I'll also enter her in the bc. Lotsss of bc till her lookup is as cluttered with trophies as the rest of my pets. then bc somemore. heh.



Character?
She'd be loosely based off of my grandmother, who passed away when I was in the 5th grade.Kindhearted yet stern. Given saki's age I figure a wise elderly look would be more fitting. "back in my day, there was no such thing as a purge. Alot of neopets had jibberish for names and we LIKED it that way!" She'd also mix up pet species; calling Eyries as Tatsus, jubjubs as flyeyes, Kaus are all named Macy, etc etc.
any adopted pets? TankerII, Faife, and Veutara were all created.Sempx and Le_koi_super were traded. the rest were adopted. my second oldest pet is keirch who i adopted from the pound about 8 years ago. Spikiepoo, my ghost korbat i adopted via pound transfer (trading function didnt exist at the time) because his owner couldnt find anyone who'd take him. had him about 6 years. Jpg and Vaxine were adopted via neomail app. Taliny, Eruo, Brainfreezy, midexi, melissu and Szern were also pound rescues.

I dunno if I'd be the best owner or not...but I can guarantee S/he will be loved and cared for in the same manner as my other permanent pets. Regardless,I do hope Saki will find the perfect home c: Unconverted pets are the last remnants of neopias' past, they belong in the hands of good, active players. Would be sad to seem them fade away on dead or frozen accounts. Anyways thanks for reading, and good luck!
