Eye color: White with a very subtle, yellow tint. His eyes are as flat and rigid as opals, and give away no emotion. His hard eyes give him the unforgiving stare of a killer.

Appearance: Sy's fur is short, though it flares at the neck like a mane, and on his bushy tail. Dark grey stripes, only a shade lighter then black, streak his fur at irregular intervals and run under his eyes. White coats his underbelly and runs along the underside of his jaw, bursting out onto his cheeks. The majority of his fur is a murky mix of brown and grey. Sylvain's body ripples with muscles, which contrast sharply with his delicate features. All together, Sy has the roguish good looks of a bandit.

Personality: Unlike most Vide dwellers (or former Vide dwellers, in Sy's case), Sylvaine's mind was never touched by insanity. Most of his thoughts, varied and chaoutic as they were, always had underlying logic. Honesty is something very dear to Sy, as is trust. Kindness is something foreign to Sylvaine, but it creeps into his heart nontheless. Inside, he wants to be good. He is fond of fighting, but was willing to give it up in order to be sent into Maison. Most of the time, Sy tries to be polite, but it's often very strained.

Sins and Crimes: Though Slyvain's lies don't slip of his tongue with the ease his sister's do, he has still tried them on occasion. Usually, he prefers blunt honesty. In the past, Sylvaine has killed wolves, but in most cases it was kill or be killed. In most cases, but not all. Sylvaine tries to be good, though sometimes he can't help it.

History: Sylvaine was born and raised in the Vide. His closest friend had always been Najia, his sister, but that friendship ended brutally when Najia attempted to kill him. He had made the mistake of telling her his dreams of getting sent to Maison. When he was three years of age, Sylvaine saved a new arrival's life. The poor wolf was in an unfamiliar setting and didn't know what to make of it. The newcomer, a year-old pup, made the mistake of picking a fight with a much older, stronger wolf. Sylvaine stepped in and drove the other wolf away, saving the pup's life. For that, he was finally sent back to Maison.

Relations: His sister, Najia Velna, His brother, Fazli Velna (deceased), and his mother, Nasrin Velna (deceased)

Other: Sylvaine was born in the Vide and later granted access to Maison, but now it looks like he's sliding back towards the Vide...
