So what is The Dainty Donut, you ask? This is the most delectable, delicious and quaint bakery in all of Neopia! Run by Tulse, the one and only part-baker part-baked good marshmallow, who is often kept in the company of Wilburt, his Candy Vampire.
Here you will find a delightful assortment of cream-coated, vanilla-dipped, oven-warmed, fluffy, sugary adoptables for you to eat, take home and give to loved ones. So what are you waiting for?! Come on in!
The Dainty Donut had its ribbon cut on February 14 2012 and was immediately swarmed by inhabitants of Neopia far and wide! Nobody seemed able to resist the smell of cinnamon butter melting, fruit-filled danishes cooling off on the windowsill, and most of all, the marshmallows! What began as a mere hobby of Tulse's soon turned into a full time job - putting on his baker's hat and creating the ultimate comfort foods, made with hand selected sweets, freshly picked fruits, thick icings, real butters, jams, spices, egg-nog, cookie dough, cream, marshmallows, and melting bread spreads of a wide variety. Oh and a few rather "unique" ingredients in particular batches - like lavender, popcorn and ice cream cone! 
On August 1st 2012, The Dainty Donut won the Site Spotlight! Tulse and Wilburt were so thrilled that they gave out free treats all day to those wandering in and out of their bakery. Now their shiny trophy perches in a glass cabinet behind the counter so they will always remember their hard working paying off!
All this talk of marshmallows and gooey treats has made you very hungry, hasn't it? Well you're in luck because Tulse just pulled out a fresh tray from the oven! Why don't you take a peek and see if there is a dessert you'd like to nibble on while you're here? All that is asked before you begin munching is that you read the following and accept such terms:

Tulse is usually so busy concocting new recipes and combining delicious treats to find new flavors, but there are those slow days where he finds himself a little bored. And so, occasionally Tulse will put up a small sign in the shop that offers a special custom made and designed baked good (adoptable) for people to take home!
If you're lucky, the sign below will read "open" (though it is rather rare), and in which case, by filling out the little form and neomailing it to Nicole, Tulse will bake for you ANY dessert your heart desires! All that is asked is that you make sure to respect the sign - if he is not accepting custom requests, please do not send a form. ♥ When Tulse is finished with your treat, he'll leave it out below this form to cool off from the oven, waiting for you to pick up and take home.
The Dainty Donut provides a wonderful service of gift wrapping any treats or pastries you want to take home, eat on the go, or give to a special someone! With your choice of a bowed pastry box for large quantities, a cellophane and ribbon-tied parcel, or an individual "cupcake" box sealed with a heart - great for single purchases.
Tulse's sweet tooth often gets him into trouble! Not only does this little marshmallow like to bake, but he also loves to eat! He simply cannot resist stepping into any bakery or pastry shop without sneaking in for a quick treat. Unfortunately Tulse's taste can often be quite expensive, so he enjoys writing out shopping lists & wish lists of his absolute favorite and most desired desserts.
Wilburt: Um... Why are you adding marshmallows to your wish list? Tulse, you are a marshmallow...
You've stumbled into the pantry! A place where you will often find Tulse rummaging around for ingredients and maybe the odd snack. Tulse is very proud of his collection and spends a great deal of time in and out of the bakeries, candy shops, cupcake boutiques and specialty bulk ingredient stores searching for Neopia's greatest treats. From creamy butters to lavish macaroons, Tulse has a little bit of everything in here.
Tulse is always adding to his pantry so be sure to check back the next time you're in and see what Tulse has gathered - who knows, they might end up in a cupcake!
Nicole: It was about a year or so ago that me and my little Neopian family realized something was missing. While we all agreed that something did not feel quite complete, we weren't sure why that was.
While Tulse and I are sometimes more like best friends than we are an owner and pet, I cannot say the same for the rather insolent little being you've probably seen periodically peeking out from behind sweet jars and doughnut holes - Wilburt, Tulse's Candy Vampire. And I should warn you that his appearance is quite deceiving. He may look like a sweet candy corn but he seems to be the product of a strange Science experiment gone wrong, and he's proven to have very sharp teeth.
Oh dear, is it already that time? It's getting rather late and Tulse is quite sleepy after a hard day's work of baking, glazing, decorating and ...eating.
