Greetings, guest! This is Tragedy's Tale, which is similar to a parallel universe. Here, you can see the future, or at least a possible one. Some people call this real, others a cheap website. Based upon your stay, you will have to decide which you believe. You must be new. I don't recognize your face, and you bear a confused look. You see, this isn't the primitive year of 2003. This is 3024. The computer is the only escape!
So, tell me. Are you prepared to know the truth about what will happen? It is a difficult thing to bear, and some have gone mad or committed self homicide because of the burden. Are you strong enough? Will your mind block it out, or shut down, not able to accept it? Do you think you can take it? If you don't, you can leave now and never return, knowing that the fate of thousands has been determined by your lack of courage and abilities. Or maybe you are just going to fetch someone more suited to this than yourself. Either way, the people brought here are usually ones who are best able to help the future. Now, I will tell you what I know. Then, you can be on your way.
-:The Future:-
In the future, neopets found a way to escape the limits of the virtual world. The were able to travel Earth, and humans were at first surprised, and delighted. But not all neopets were good, and along with the average neopets, Sloth and his minions also escaped. Humans had to go into hiding for years, and the presidents and Prime Ministers and Dictators of the world had to go into hiding. Some of them were killed in their battles with Sloth, though most retaliated against ALL neopets, destroying some of the best and thus causing hatred between the two species. However, neopets could only die in the real world, and only if they were mortally wounded. Humans were doomed to a death at an early age. As such, we were the stronger race. Now, we live in seperation from one another, except in the neutral zone: the computer.
-:About Me:-
Me? I was born a blue aisha in the first years of neopia. I am approximately 1,022 years old, as I have never fought in a war, and seldom leave the neutral zone. I have weak bones, as was proven when I was young. Back in 2003, I was adopted by a woman with the account of diamondbunny, on June 10th. I was found with zero hit points at a mere 582 days old, with an icy snowball and sparkshooter attached to me. She took pity on me and took me in on her gallery account, becoming suddenly more active due to the adopted pet and guild she had just joined. She made me this webpage layout and instructed me in how to use it. Unfortunately, humans do not benifit from the same immortal gift we neopets do, and she died at the age of 94 in the year 2,084 of old age, shortly after neopets first escaped. She was the only human I ever truly loved and trusted. Why am I speaking to you, then? Because you, guest, are her last descendant.

I suppose after that last comment things I like may be trivial, but this is meant to be an accurate retelling of my life. I have a feeling in the future I will end up having been a great influence, and wish my opinions and thoughts to be known.
I enjoy reading old editions of the neopian times, it reminds me of the better days. Don't call me a when-we. I have no trouble looking to the future and living the present. The past was just so much better.
I also enjoy books. I have too many to list here, but suffice it to say that I have read every book in Neopia. The humans don't know of our libraries. They know only what we let them know. And we prefer to keep it that way.
I also enjoy eating foods such as salads and aquatic items. I am amazed at how many shops remain in existence that you know of, actually. Anyway, here are some of my favourite food items:

-:Things I hate:-
There are few things in this world I hate, and fewer that I like. It's a ravaged world, the computer and the real one. Humans neglected to care for theirs, and war has further destroyed the world you humans once knew. It is hardly recognizable. The neutral zone is not nearly as bad, as humans seem to care for it better than the world they themselves live in. But the once main inhabited areas of neopets have been long destroyed, and now neopets are forced to live in secreted homes. They may not be as glorious, as space is limited, but they are clean, and safer than our old ones. I seem to have veered off track, although my topic is still related. The things I hate most in this world are humans. Our creators, our destroyers. Our enemies. I only tell you this as I know I will somehow help the future. You will take this knowledge back with you to the past, and may be able to prevent this from happening.
I also hate Sloth. Sloth is the reason for all this, or one of the main ones, at any rate. He and his minions are everyone's enemies. They are in a league of their own. No one knows of their whereabouts except when they strike. No one but them.
-:Family:-
My remaining family consists of my two sisters, Serena_of_the_Sea, a Flotsam, and Kynshee, a red Ixi. Serena is very rare, as Flotsams became limited edition, and many were killed in the intial years of the war. As such, she remains in the computer most of the time, venturing out only when absolutely neccesary. Both Serena and Kynshee are the same colour and gender - female. Kynshee has slitted purple eyes that slant back like a cat's, and her legs are very strong. After diamondbunny passed away, she began rigourous training, and is one of the finest warriors we have. Her statitistics are all too high too count, and she has kept the colour bestowed upon her by our owner, although she could have easily obtained a paint brush. I believe it is Kynshee's way of remembering our late owner.
Serena is the oldest of all of us, with a slippery red skin and pink stomach. She stands 21 centimeters, making her half as small as I and four times as small as Kynshee. Her eyes are black and round and still retain that innocence, despite the war she has seen. She holds out hope that one days humans and neopets will live together in harmony.
We once had another sister, although we have long forgotten who she was and where she went. I remember she was a blue elephante, and that is all. We were both very young when she left.
My owner, as you know, the only one I would willingly call that, has been dead for centuries. Her brother and family too, are all gone. She did find a way for humans to enter the computer, but chose death over immortality. I couldn't begin to grasp why, until recently, when another clash between humans and neopets left thousands of wounded and casulaties. I sometimes feel guilty for not helping, but I know I am weak and small, and wouldn't last an hour on the battlefield. No, I am much more useful here, where I can plan and strategize. If we can get you to prevent this, I will have done my duty.

As I mentioned, I am very weak, and when my owner found me, I was in the pound with zero hit points. My previous owner abandoned me shortly after I lost my first fight without even healing me or unequipping my items. diamondbunny first discovered me by accident, searching for a user and misspelt tragedy. She found me, and immediatly logged onto her gallery account, diamondbunny, and adopted me. I was then healed and fed, and promised a web page. To her, it seemed only right.
As such, I don't like to fight, I don't even like to watch fights. I only fought once. It says on the status page that I never fought. Lies. I remember it well. Faulty database prevents transferring battle scores, it would seem. Human error, for not making it so. I would like to move to a lighter subject.

guest, it would appear that your time here has ended. The fabric of the neutral zone is beginning to warp again. It is the same twisting as when you entered. The past has begun to take you.
The world spins as you fight to keep your balance. A grid you'd not seen before is now visible, the lines spiraling toward a center: you.
Fare thee well, guest.
You are sucked into a vortex, and you feel nothing. All your senses have been completely cut off. You see nothing but blackness, you can hear nothing, you don't feel, not even the skin of your body nor your head on your neck. It is a soundless void. You have no idea how long you are in there. None at all.
Suddenly, you land in a chair, the same one you were in when you took your pet to the lab ray. But now, instead of that on the screen, there is a webpage. As you read through it, you find that it is not a story: it is what just happened.
