Why I Want Ghoriy:
To put it simply, I adore maraquan pets. Out of all the maraquan pets, I think the gelert has the most beautiful design. It may be one of the only pets I think look better than their UC version. I also love her name, Ghoriy. It's very original and pronouncable. I figure her name is a misspelling of "gory" and I think that is pretty cool. :) It's hard to find pets with names like hers.

That being said, I have a pretty non-legit reason to why I want Ghoriy. It's pretty embarrassing as a 17 year old to admit this... I have recently been obsessed with watching The Little Mermaid. I had reunited with Disney Movies; The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, you name it! The Little Mermaid, however, has had the most impact on me. It has made me want to draw mermaids. So I do- in class, on the computer, during a meeting at work- whenever.

Instead of drawing random mermaids I want to be able to draw a certain character with an actual story. And this is where Ghoriy comes in. :-) It may look like she doesn't have much of a character right now, and she doesn't really have much of a story, but I assure you that when I create a character it takes a lot of time and change. So while I'm in class not paying attention to my teacher, I'll most likely be doodling Ghoriy, coming up with scenarios and shaping out her character a bit more.

That is kind of my own way of setting a disclaimer: Ghoriy will be changing a lot throughout time.




About Ghoriy:
She is a mergelert of neopia. She is an only child. Her parents are overbearing and over protective. At age 19, she just wants to be independent and learn about the ocean without her parents. She has a lot to learn, but with the help of her best friend, Fynelli, she learns the good and the bad of the ocean.

Ghoriy loves to play with her petpet. :-) He is her best friend. He looks out for her but sometimes he can get over bearing and over protective.

This is Fynelli and Ghoriy. They have been best friends ever since they were little kids. Their friendship slowly turned into something more....
Together they cause ruckus and have adventures together. They are both entranced by "a world beyond the sea." Their favorite thing to do is lurk among ship wrecks to find human artifacts. Both are sheltered by their parents and find and feel a sense of empathy when around each other.



ABOUT ME: This is probably the most boring part of an application so I'll keep it short and sweet. :) My name is Kayla. (also known as Hachi) I am currently 17 years young and a senior in high school. I am really into youth activism and making a difference in the world. Drawing is my favorite thing to do. I dig walks at 6 'o' clock and pug dogs.

HONESTY TIME:

I'm going to be very honest with you. I'm not going to be entering GHORIY ever week in the Beauty Contest, I'm not going to be RPing with other neopians about how her life would be if the setting took place over 100 years ago. I'm not going to be playing in the battledome with her. I'm not going to be feeding her every day.

What I will do is give her a personally. I will enter her in the BC whenever I feel I have a great entry. As an artist I do not want to enter doodles, I want to be able to enter a great piece of art. I will probably just put her in the neolodge so she doesn't get sick or cry.
