Restocking Guide (by toot126)


Technique to Restock
This is my personal technique to restock properly. Firstly, I will have two windows opened, the Food Shop and the shop I am restocking in. Why the food shop? It is because it is the first shop that will be restocked once the restock time comes.

Now, you must be wondering when does restock come? It is actually random in terms of minute, by in terms of second, it usually restocks at the same time. For instance, the food shop will restock on the dot of the minute, and other shops will restock in a later millisecond, depending on their shop code.

The shop code refers to the number in the URL of the shop. For instance, food shop is code 1, magic shop is code 2, faerie furniture shop is code 75... the smaller number shop code gets restocked first.

Thus, only refresh at the start of the minute (first 2 seconds), if the food shop does not restock at that time, don't bother refreshing until the next minute...

In Overall, there is NO SPECIFIC TIME OR SECOND for any shop to restock, since shops restock in order based on their shop code number.

There are many good shops to restock in Neopets... it is just which is your favourite. The shops listed below give you some tips on what to restock in there etc., and how much neopoints you should have on hand in case an expensive unbuyable gets restocked!

BUY: Basically, every book is profitable. Buy those that are 1 to 3 in stock, and stocks for high price (e.g. 5,000np or more) - usually, the higher the price, the better and rarer the item is.

AVATAR: Just buy any chocolate item that stocks for 5,000 NP or more and you can be awarded with a very special Chocolate avatar.
