BasicsThe Basics
Always best to start with the basics.
So what are trophies?
Trophies are awards given for reaching a certain level in games or winning a competition
or being one of the best scorers in a game when the game trophies get handed out.
When do the game trophies get handed out?
Trophies start going out at 10:50pm NST and take a couple of minutes to all get handed out. They get processed in game ID order.
What trophies don't require a high score to get?
A list of those trophies can be found in this section of the guide or on this petpage:

Once you get a trophy can you lose it?
No, once you have a trophy it's yours forever
What is the gaming day?
It is the time you have to send a game score, it starts at 12:40am NST one day and ends at 12:39am NST the next
It was brought in to stop people holding scores from one day to the next
Here is a basic High Score Table from an old game:
| Pos | Username | Points | Trophy |
| 1 | Player A | 993 | ![]() |
| 2 | Player B | 981 | |
| 3 | Player C | 967 | |
| 4 | Player D | 959 | ![]() |
| 5 | Player E | 956 | |
| 6 | Player F | 947 | |
| 7 | Player G | 944 | |
| 8 | Player H | 930 | |
| 9 | Player I | 925 | ![]() |
| 10 | Player J | 917 | |
| 11 | Player K | 909 | |
| 12 | Player L | 905 | |
| 13 | Player M | 889 | |
| 14 | Player N | 885 | |
| 15 | Player O | 884 | |
| 16 | Player P | 880 | |
| 17 | Player Q | 879 | |
| 18 | Player R | 876 | |
| 19 | Player S | 870 | |
| 20 | Player T | 869 |
As you can see Players A, B and C occupy the gold trophy positions and would get Gold at 10:50pm NST.
Players D, E, F, G and H occupy the silver trophy positions and would get silver at trophy time.
Players I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P and Q would all get bronze at trophy time.
Players R, S, T and all below them would not get a trophy
Do I get np every day I have a trophy?
Not quite, you get np for every day you are in a trophy position,
Each day in a gold trophy position you get 750np each day
Each day in a silver trophy position you get 500np each day
Each day in a bronze trophy position you get 250np each day

Tied Scores
Now onto tied scoresHere is the same basic High Score Table from an old game but a few of the players have improved and tied those above them:
| Pos | Username | Points | Trophy |
| 1 | Player A | 993 | ![]() |
| 2 | Player B | 981 | |
| 3 | Player C | 967 | |
| 4 | Player D | 967 | ![]() |
| 5 | Player E | 956 | |
| 6 | Player F | 947 | |
| 7 | Player G | 944 | |
| 8 | Player H | 930 | |
| 9 | Player I | 925 | ![]() |
| 10 | Player J | 917 | |
| 11 | Player K | 909 | |
| 12 | Player L | 905 | |
| 13 | Player M | 889 | |
| 14 | Player N | 885 | |
| 15 | Player O | 884 | |
| 16 | Player P | 880 | |
| 17 | Player Q | 879 | |
| 18 | Player R | 879 | |
| 19 | Player S | 879 | |
| 20 | Player T | 869 |
The same trophies would go out as before despite Player D equaling Player C scores and Players R and S would still miss out
The High Score Tables are 1st come 1st serve with a few exceptions whoever gets the score 1st tend to be higher on the table

The Exceptional Eight are the 8 games where that if you get the max score and are in the top 100 at trophy time you get gold.
*Note: the trophy system for these games can occasionally be glitched by stupid people

The Last Smiley
| Pos | Username | Points | Trophy |
| 1 | Player A | 810 | ![]() |

| 17 | Player Q | 810 | |
| 18 | Player R | 810 | |
| 19 | Player S | 810 | |
| 20 | Player T | 810 |
As previously meantioned Players A, B and C occupy the gold trophy positions and would get Gold at 10:50pm NST.
Players D, E, F, G and H occupy the silver trophy positions and would get silver at trophy time.
Players I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P and Q would all get bronze at trophy time.
Players R, S, T and all below them would not get a trophy.
The only way to get a trophy would be for the High Score Table to fill with 810 scores and people would start being bumped up the table,
However this is unlikely to happen as the table rarely gets close to filling with max scores these days.

Easy Trophies
16 Trophies i think anyone can get
1. Cheat!

Victory in Round 3 = Bronze
Victory in Round 5 = Silver
Victory in Round 7 = Gold
Tips: Best advice is don't cheat unless you have to
I like to leave gaps of 2 between cards and 2 gaps of 1 or a 3 for example A,4,7,10,Q
2. Snow Wars

Victory in Round 2 = Medal
Victory in Round 5 = Bronze
Victory in Round 7 = Silver
Victory in Round 10 = Gold
Tips: I like to start on B2, B4, B6, B8 and then D2, D4, D6, D8 and also F2, F4, F6 and F8
I then start on the places where the remaining lines cross C3 or E5 for example where you are
more likely to find the 3-long(horizontal) or the two 2-long(vertical) pieces
Then it's luck finding the 2 single snowmen.
3. Cellblock

Tournament 1 Level 4 = Medal
Tournament 1 Level 8 = Bronze
Tournament 11 Level 4 = Silver
Tournament 11 Level 8 = Gold
Tips: Follow one of the Cellblock guides on this petpage
Normally the same moves each time throught the first few tournements and just takes alittle patience
4. Pyramids

2 Clearances = Bronze
5 Clearances = Silver
2 Clearances in a Row = Gold
Tips: Be lucky, hope to get the cards in the right places
Takes a few games but eventually you'll get the clearances
5. Sahkmet Solitaire

2 Clearances = Bronze
5 Clearances = Silver
2 Clearances in a Row = Gold
Tips: I prefer to draw 3, more aggressive strategy than draw 1
Like Pyramids, keep playing and eventually you'll get the clearances needed
6. Go! Go! Go!

Victory in Round 2 = Bronze
Victory in Round 5 = Silver
Victory in Round 8 = Gold
Tips: Try and keep some of your more useful cards like 2's 10's and Aces
Also try and remember what cards your opponents pick up when they pick up the pile
Also a good Neopian Times guide here
7. Beating Punchbag Bob
Battledome Victory = Gold
Tips: A test of endurance, make some time, alittle training doesn't hurt either
Getting a couple of decent cheap weapons like 2 Scarab Rings will help cut down the time this takes
The battle must end before 10:50pm NST of the day of the battle else you won't get the trophy
8. Invasion Of Meridell

Victory in Mission 5 Battle 3 = Medal
9th-17th High Score Table = Bronze
4th-8th High Score Table = Silver
Top 3 High Score Table = Gold
Tips: Try and raise you ranks quickly and not lose villages
Some good Invasion Of Meridell linked to on this petpage
9. Round Table Poker

Victory in Tournement 5 = Medal
9th-17th High Score Table = Bronze
4th-8th High Score Table = Silver
Top 3 High Score Table = Gold
Tips: Learning the ranking of hands is a good start, they are from highest to lowest:
Royal Flush = 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace of the same suit
Straight Flush = 5 consecutive cards of the same suit
Four of a Kind = 4 cards of the same value, ie. 4 Aces or 4 Threes
Full House = 3 of a Kind and 2 of a kind, ie. 3 Queens 2 Fives
Flush = 5 cards of the same suit, ie. 5 cards that are Diamonds
Straight = 5 consectutively valued cards of varying suits, ie. Jack of Spades, 10 + 9 of Clubs, 8 + 7 of Hearts
Three of a Kind = 3 cards of the same value, ie. 3 Aces or 3 Threes
Two Pair = 2 sets of 2 cards of the same value, ie. 2 Kings and 2 Jacks
Two of a Kind = 2 cards of the same value, ie. 2 Aces or 2 Threes
High Card = When you have none of the above, unlikely to win with this
You can find links to a guide on this petpage
*For the next 3 trophies you need to enter the monthly competitions here
(Note: Sadly these 3 are currently glitched and broken, hopefully be fixed soon)
10. Kacheekers
(broken)

Victory in Week 2 = Bronze
Victory in Week 3 = Silver
Victory in Week 4 = Gold
Tips: If you know the game checkers it's exactly the same
Try and get to the other side of the board so you have king pieces
Often this trophy can be for just showing up and 'Move or Losing' your opponent out
11. Geos
(broken)

Victory in Week 2 = Bronze
Victory in Week 3 = Silver
Victory in Week 4 = Gold
Tips: Make the 4 shapes, don't combine 2 shapes as that is an instant loss, 1st move is useful
Often this trophy can be for just showing up and 'Move or Losing' your opponent out
12. Armada
(broken)

Victory in Week 2 = Bronze
Victory in Week 3 = Silver
Victory in Week 4 = Gold
Tips: A good start is useful getting into the lead and having pieces sealed off
Never give up in this game, even if you are 10 boats down it can turn around quickly
Often this trophy can be for just showing up and 'Move or Losing' your opponent out
*For the next 4 trophies it is best to read the Exceptional Eight section first so you understand the trophy system
