On a school field trip, I visited this one Palace, (I forgot the name) and I somehow managed to get separated from my group. (-___-) I wandered the stupid palace for the longest time ever. I wondered to myself, "Why didn't they have any ------- maps?!" I mean the place was huuuuuge, anyone could've gotten lost. So I continued my pointless walk in a maze of wonder. I stopped as I saw a part of the palace I had never seen before. (which was amazing since I've been walking for hours..) I entered the somewhat abandoned place, and it was pretty boring. Just a bunch of old furniture, vases, jewels, and stuff like that.. nothing seemed important.. till I tried to take a little shiny rock in a shelf full of other little rocks. I wasn't going to steal it or anything, I just wanted to examine it closer. Then these freako guys popped out of nowhere and ran after me. Ohh mann did I fun like crazy! There was no way in hell I'd let them poke me with their pointy little (some five feet) sticks. I could've sworn that was the longest run I ever had, never in my life did I feel this tired. I finally lost them and took a stop at the pond to lie down. I was about two feet from it. The little bit of water that was picked up from the breeze felt so refreshing. Only to realize I was still holding that stupid rock. "----! I forgot to put it away! Ahh ----.." And 'ahh ----' it was. As I sat up, there was a shadow of something over me. I looked back to see some kid looking at me (more like examining me..) Behind him were those -------- chasing me earlier. I got up and began to back away. I felt the floor beneath me fall and break way for water to surround me. I saw the kid running toward me. Do I ever owe him my life. If it weren't for him I would've drowned in that 'pond' for sure. (thankfully I can swim now) When I woke up I was inside the palace (in another part I had never seen) and wearing something else… (hella creepy.. I like dressing myself, thanks) The kid entered the room and handed me my clothes. I gave him a weird look and he read my mind, "Don't worry, I didn't see anything. Wouldn't want to either." We sat there for a long time just talking. He was actually very interesting! (compared with the nothingness appearence he had earlier) He and one of the guard people took me home that night. I thanked him and left. Maann, was I in trouble when I got home so late. I went to put my clothes away when I saw the rock on top of my clothes. But the rock was surrounded by a gold chain. Under it, a note read, "Keep it, for your troubles," signed Xsele. And on the back, my name was engraved.. Now how'd he know my name?! It was weird, but I couldn't help but smile. (and look like a ------- in front of my family.. whiiiich gave me a weird look and laughed -__-) All that for a stupid rock…
And to know how much my school cared.. They didn't even notice I was gone, and those that did, didn't care.. Some great friends I have huh…
