You step outside and your skin tingles with the touch of the wind. It's cold, but not too cold for a flight. You walk to the edge of the cliff that sits above miles of forestland, spread your wings, and take off.

Where are you headed? Pogest asked as Elijah opened the font door.
I'm just going for a walk. Elijah responded. He closed the door behind him and started out into the foggy night.
Tick, tick, tick. Suddenly, Elijah heard an odd sound ringing in his ears. He ignored it, beliving it a figment of his imagination. He entered the abandoned house. The house was covered in spiderwebs and dust. and looked as if no one had ventured in here for years. A desk sat at the edge of the room, covered in gears and other junk. Taped to the walls were blueprints for some sort of handheld design.
A gust of wind blew one of the papers into Elijah's hands as he stumbled backwards. He studied the blueprint, finally realizing what it's supposed to be: a design for an old, out-of-date pocket watch.
He took a step forward into the forgotten house, and immediately heard a CRUNCH! beneath his foot. The ticking stoped. Elijah lifted his foot to see a rusted old pocket watch lying in pieces beneath him.

Her black hair blew in the wind. 60 miles per hour. 80. 120. 200. 500. At 2,000 miles per hour she fell through space. Her heart raced faster and faster with every passing second. Ba-bump, Ba-bump. Her eyes fluttered, but remained closed. Her dyed golden braids shone brighter with each flash of light from the planets she passed. Her dress blew as if in sync with her movement; her body flailed uncontrollably. Her hand grazed over her face and cut her lip. She could see each drop of blood fall away.
She could see the ground 500 miles away. 400. 250. Finally, gravity caught her. She slowed down drastically, her long dress blinding her vision. Suddenly, she felt the ground beneath one foot. Then the other. Her enchanting eyes flew open, revealing their beautiful midnight blue colour.
She glanced around, taking in her surroundings. Little did she know that she'd landed on the planet of Colossum, the largest world in the atmosphere that had the strongest gravity. The planet had no life. Rather, it was full of dirt and waste from the worlds that surrounded it.
She began examining the waste around her. When she found an object that facinated her, she picked it up with only her nails that stretched two inches beyond her fingertips, showing off her strength. The object was an escape pod from an exploration device that had crashed onto this world. She flung the pod behind her with little effort. The object flew ten miles behind her.
She continued on through this new world, trying to find the substance that could take her home.

Plumpi gritted her teeth as she tried to maintain the rotating magical light in her hands. Every day, she travelled out at night to practice her magic. On this particular evening, she trekked into a clearing in a forest with many other creatures, her friends, swarming in the trees around her.
Secretly, Plumpi was a member of the Order of the Red Erism, one of the most powerful groups fighting in the war. She constantly had to practice her magic to keep up her skills. Right now, she was trying to develop a rotating light to guide her followers. After the last battle's incident that left her face covered in scars, she wasn't willing to risk going out into the dark by herself ever again. Plumpi only knew she was safe tonight because she was surrounded by her friends who would protect her, no matter what.
BOOM!
Suddently, the light Plumpi had been developing for mere minutes burst. Her deep, purple dress flared and ruffled; her slick, short hair fluttered harshly behind her in the wind. A nearby patch of grass caught fire, but Plumpi quickly stomped out the flames.
Once more, she thought. Plumpi raised her hands and began to gather the energy around her. She created three different orbs of very dim light. She started rotating her hands, and the orbs followed. She began spinning faster and faster, and the orbs gathered even more energy. They started to get larger and brighter. Plumpi closed her eyes and began to feel the energy in her hands. Suddenly, she tightened her muscles and thrusted the orbs of energy towards the sky. As the orbs flow, they gathered into a single massive orb full or purple-tinted energy. The orb rose high about the trees before finally slowing to a stop. The orb's light illuminated the sky above and the forest below. Plumpi gazed up at her creation and smiled, her hair sparkling in the light.

Somulyi watched in envy as another Chomby stretched out his neck and took hold of a deep red, mouthwatering apple that dangled from a tall tree.
Once he'd traveled across the field, Somulyi began to examine the apples. They looked so delicious and irresistible! He just had to have one. Somulyi closed his eyes, stretched out his neck, and bit down.
OW! Somulyi clamped his teeth together hard, his effort to retrieve the apple unsuccessful. He was too short!
Somulyi stepped back, trying to create a plan to reach his apple. There were a lot of others around the apple tree, but none of them seemed to notice his dilemma. There was one, though, that caught his attention. A faerie Xweetok, who seemed extremely familiar, was hovering by a branch picking all the apples from it. Somulyi really wanted to approach her and ask for her help, but he was so shy around girls that he couldn't bring himself to!
Soon, the Xweetok flew out of sight, and Somulyi went back to his planning. He finally came up with a plan, and started to get ready. Somulyi backed ten feet away from the tree, lowered his head, and took a big breath. Suddenly, he charged toward the tree! He was just a foot away from knocking down his perfect apple when a noise stopped him in his tracks.
AHHHHHH!
Somulyi's head spun around in every direction. No one around seemed to notice. And then he saw her. The Xweetok, who had seemed so familiar, was being bound by a dark figure in a Smug Bug Net Trap, the toughest net in all of Neopia!
Once the Xweetok was wrapped in the net, the figure slug her over his shoulder and took off running. Somulyi started running after them on instinct. From behind, he could make out the villain's think, purple antennae.
Wait, purple antennae? That means he's Carnel, the Xweetok kidnapper who works for Dr. Sloth!
Somulyi started running faster and faster, but he was running out of breath quickly, too. Soon, he was completely worn out and ready to collapse, but something about the Xweetok inspired him to keep going! Somulyi keep running even faster, until he was nearly behind the villain.
As if on instinct, Somulyi lowered his head and charged towards the villain, striking him in the back! Carnel went flying, the Xweetok falling out of his hands! The villain fell to the ground, where Somulyi ran up to him, stamped his foot and growled. Carnel got back to his feet and sprinted away like a petpet on the run from an evil negg!
Somulyi approached the Xweetok, who was asleep on the ground. He untied her from the net, and lifter her onto his back. Somulyi carried her all the way back to the apple tree, where a huge crowd of Neopets awaited him.
Somulyi laid the Xweetok beneath the tree. The other Neopets crowded around the duo. A Camouflage Kougra, Baby Lupe and a Plushie Shoyru started nudging a huge barrel of apples towards him. Somulyi smiled so big that it hurt his face! He thanked everyone, and began munching, waiting for the Xweetok to wake up.
After another hour, the Xweetok's eyes fluttered open. She saw Somulyi, and nudged him with her nose. She grabbed an apple and bit in.
Hey, Somulyi! she exclaimed. How are you, brother?
Oh, yeah! Somulyi remembered! The Xweetok was his sister, Nyrrin!
Somulyi portrayed a huge toothy grin, adorably showing off the apple pieces stuck in his teeth.
