Welcome to the The Den of Warriors, or tDoW, the website, which we call Explore. This is the site where you will find all information about the guild and the roleplay. On this page are the rules, FAQ'S and the application you must send in to join, as well as other things that are more general.

Rules

Please abide by our rules if you wish you be in tDoW.
1. Please be literate. Please. Please.
2. No chatspeak while in character.
3. Don't name your kitty with 'kit' 'paw' or 'star' in the prefix. Starpaw is cute, but Starstar the leader just sounds silly.
4. No using the same prefix as another cat. For example, Sunstripe and Sunpelt.
5. NO HARASSMENT, NO SWEARING. Seriously, uncool.
6. No God-modeling/Power-playing; aka, making your kitty the supercat who can never be hurt in any way, physically or emotionally, and is victorious in all things. Also, this includes having your character do unrealistic/fatal things, like purposefully provoking a predator or a large group of enemy cats.
7. No Mary-Sues/Gary-Stues. This goes right along with rule 6; don't make your character perfect and loved by all. People, and kitties, have faults; that's what makes them fun!
8. No autoing; that means roleplaying and/or controlling another person's character without permission. Badbadbad.
9. No aging super fast or slow; like, one day your kit is born, the next s/he is up walking, talking, eating, etc. Age realistically, at the rate of the roleplay, please.
10. Please, be realistic. No having your kitty be raised by badgers. No cat who can survive underwater. No kitty-wizards. Just...realistic, please.
11. No connections to the book, please. We are an entirely different clan, with no relation to the kitties from Erin Hunter's books.
12. Only leaders and medicine cats may have dreams from Starclan. I'm sorry, but that's how it is in the books, so that's how it is here.
13. When roleplaying, please make sure to specify which clan you are roleplaying in, whether it be in the subject or before you post (as you would see with 'ooc' or 'bic'). If you are roleplaying inbetween clans, write 'Inbetween'.
14. And obviously, no plagiarism; write your own stuff.
15. You have 5 days to make a introduction on the boards after joining.
16. Members must remain active or will risk being deleted. If you're on vacation or have a conflic neomail kat_zinc.
17. You can have up to 8 cats max. If you want another cat, you gotta kill one off. Sorry, that's the way it goes.
18. A member can only have ONE important role (leader, deputy, medicine cat etc).
19. When naming your cat, please consider what a Warrior cat would and would not know! No naming them after Two-leg things such as Popcorn/Cookie/Couch/Glimmer - you get the picture. Things of nature only. Any cat that does not follow this rule will have a name change.
20. You must send in your cat's info before roleplaying. Your cat doesn't have to be on the pages, but you have to send in the information first.

Ranks

Council members' ranks are known by their names. Members move up by their activeness, contributions, etc. The members' rank names hold clancat rank names, but they are not based on actual roleplay characters.

Founder: Owner.
Founder: Second in Command.
Founder: Third in Command
Owner: Fourth in Command.
Owner: Fifth in Command.
Clan Leadership: Roleplays a high-ranked clancat. You will be deleted after 80 days of inactivity
Elder: 1000 posts. You will be deleted after 60 days of inactivity.
Warrior: 400 posts. You will be deleted after 35 days of inactivity.
Apprentice: 150 posts. You will be deleted after 20 days of inactivity.
Kit: Starting rank. You will be deleted after 10 days of inactivity.

Frequently asked questions about tDoW.
Q: Why does this guild stress traditional Warriors roleplay?
A: We created this guild for the experienced roleplayers who would like to get back to roleplaying Warriors the way it should be, which is the original way, closest to the books. It's a very satisfying feeling.

Q: How do I join?
A: Look right above! There is a box with an application you can fill out. Copy it, click 'submit form', and paste it onto the neomail you will be redirected to. Our council will take a look at your application and make our decision from there.

Q: How many clans does this guild roleplay?
A: We roleplay two, LakeClan and ForestClan. We decided on two, because it is the most traditional we can get (which is four) before getting too chaotic and cluttered.

Q: How do I make a character?
A: Get your own little petpage set up (you can find premade layouts on the graphics page) and start filling it up with your cat's info! Guidelines are located on both the ForestClan and LakeClan pages. Direct any questions you may have to our council members. They'll be happy to help you!

Q: Why should I join The Den of Warriors?
A: Excellent question! First and foremost, we stress having a community which is tight-knit, celebrating Warriors roleplay, and simply sharing its passion. For all those who miss the times where guilds were more like a family rather than a corporation, we are here. We like to joke that this is a guild for all the homeless Warrior cats! Really, it's for old times sake. We plan to stick around a while.
