Seriously man, have you even been in the water today? You look a bit pasty, you know what I mean? Like, you look like you're about to wipe out or something. Dude, you'd feel a lot better in the ocean, it isn't healthy to like, stand on this hot beach all day, you'll get like, a heat stroke or something. Dude it's like, 100 degrees Fahrenheit today man, uh...sorry dude, I can't tell you what that is in Celsius. Maybe you have a walking calculator in your head dude, but I sure don't!

Oh, I get it, you must be a tourist. We get a lot of those here on Mystery Island. I'm like, a native here. You can probably tell by my pro surfing skillz man. Ha ha, just kidding, bro. I'm not really the bragging type, I guess...I dunno.

Uh, anyway, what are you doing out here? If you're not going to swim you'll just burn your feet off on this sand, dude. So grab a surfboard and catch a wave, man. Peace.

story

Uh...nothing really epic has happened in my life so far, so I don't really know what to tell you, man...Oh wait! I know what I can tell you, dude! It's an old gnarly story, a story of how Beasty, like, found me, man. You see, I didn't always live with Beasty and Tanni. I don't really remember it...the memories are like, really fuzzy and far away, but once, when I was like, seven or something, I lived on Lutari Island.

But one day, there was this huge storm, and I mean HUGE, man. It was like, this killer storm that swept me away from Lutari Island. I was swimming peacefully in the water, and then the next thing I knew it, these huge tsunami killer wave things came crashing in and swept me away from home! Dude, that was scary! I thought I was going to like, die, man. Rain fell for hours, and waves pounded around me, and even though back then I was a strong swimmer, I couldn't get back to shore, because I didn't even know where shore was! The waves had already swept me out into the neopian sea.

I don't really remember much of that experience. The next thing I knew it, I was washed up on some different shore. I didn't know it then, but it was Mystery Island. Anyways, Beasty went for a walk on the beach after the storm stopped, and she found me washed up half-drowned on the shore. She took me in and has been my owner dude ever since, man.

Anyways, Beasty asked me where I was from, who my family was and all that. But...you see, that near-drowning experience, floating adrift in the sea for days...it really made me forget everything, 'cause I was just so scared and traumatized, man. I only have really dim memories of my parents, and my old life on Lutari Island, and now Lutari Island is so clouded up in mist that I can't return there ever again, dude. It's kind of sad...but ah well, I love my new life here with Beasty and Tanni.

My lutari talisman probably saved my life. You see, every lutari gets one from the day they're born on Lutari Island, and keep it for the rest of their life. I probably would've like, drowned if it hadn't been for that talisman. It really is lucky, dude.

It's kind of funny, for the longest time after that I was scared silly of water! Ha ha, but slowly I overcame my fear, and now I'm like, totally chill just surfing all the time and swimming out deep into the ocean and stuff. I really love the ocean, and even though I was scared at first, I couldn't stay away from it for long, dude!

Anyway, since that time I've just been living here, chilling out and stuff. I've helped raise Tanni. When I first came here, she was just a tiny little newborn kougra. Now she's already ten years old! Dude, can you believe it?

Uh, so yeah. That's the only interesting thing in my life really, ha ha.
