You wander through the small woodland that you have found. You've no idea where you are or how you got here. You're starving, dirty, and dehydrated. A slim green uni rests her head under your arm as you start to trip, taking care not to poke you with her horn.
I don't get visitors often. Then again I move around a lot," she says. "Tell me, how did you even get here?"
You let out a weak groan, your thirst affecting your voice. Your thoart feels so dry and cracked you can barely talk.
W..wa..water," you groan weakly.
You are only a guest may I remind you. Don't ya think you being a bit invasive?" But taking another look at you the look in the uni's eyes turns to pity. "I'll get some," she whispers sweetly. "Wait here."
At that the uni charges off. You collapse after her support leaves, crashing to the ground. The uni had obviously hadn't been paying attention when she ran off.
Ouch!" you graon weakly. But the thumping of hooves alerts you of the unis return. She sets a small wooden bowl that has water in it next to you. "What chya doin' down there?" she asks. "That's an awful silly place to wait."
You grab the bowl and glug down the water.
While you're drinking the water the uni says, "You know, I sculpted that thing myself. I came across a human village once and saw them eating out those things and decided one day when I found a fallen branch that I'd try. I did it with my horn. I'm pretty good at that kind of stuff," she finishes. You set down the bowl feeling 100 times better than before.
Thank you! you say gratefully.
It's nothing really. I just use my horn too carve the wood is all. Hey you..."
No. Thank you for the water!" You say cutting her off.
Oh. Your welcome. Hey my names Syloleah by the way! What's yours!?"
My name's guest," you stamer.
Cool! You want some food? Theres this tree here that drops all these really yummy red fruits. I think they're called apples. You want some?"
You perk up at the metion of food.
Sure!" you say.
All right. Follow me!" The uni then starts to walk to the south. You stand up and follow soon coming to a small clearing surouned by fruit trees. The ripe fruit smelling sweetly as you aproch the clearing. You run a head of the uni into the clearing imeaditly going to the necturine tree grabing the biggest ripest one you see. You tear into the fruit with your teeth and sweet juice runs down your chin in droplets.
Wow. You eat like you haven't eaten in ages! Are all humans like this?" asks the uni. Bringing the pit of the fruit away from your mouth you wipe your mouth with your sleeve.
No. But I... I haven't eaten in days."
Well then help yourself to all the fruit you want. I'm leaving here soon anyway," says Syloleah.
But why? It's so nice here!" you say.
That's something that would take a long time to discuss," she says her tone becoming sad and her eyes dropping.

."Well...then tell me. I've got time."
."Uh... all right then. If you've got the time to listen. So, I was born in a huge forest. Even lusher and greener than this one. But.... My mother died while giving birth to me. So... My father had to find a source of nurishment for me. I suppose it was lucky for me that my aunt had a still born foal a few days before. So," Syloleah paused. She seemed hesitent to continue telling her story to a complete stranger.
."So my aunt nursed me. I have always been glad that she has been able to do that for me. However, when I was a yearling lighting struck a tree and set fire to the whole forest. The fire it spread so quickly... Ash got into my eyes and I ran blind in fear becoming seperated from my father and aunt. I've been on my own for a year now. Anyway, the next morning I woke up in a feild of some kind. I was covered in ash my wings had been singed and the tip of my tail burned. All I knew was that I was alone, scared, and had no idea how to make it on my own. I was despreatly hungry and all in the feild was dead. Well, nearly all any way. I found a couple of dandilions. Then...I set off. On journy to find my father and my aunt. I've no clue whether they survived or not but... I have to try finding them or I may never find my peace of mind. So I move from place to place. Searching, and hoping that I can find my father again. As I travled I came across many strange places. In the first place I discovered I had to be wary of where I steped. There were sinkholes everywhere! At one point I found a petpet in a sink hole. I don't remember what kind. I do remeber, that after I saved it, it stayed with me for a very long while. But just as my life so far has gone we were seperated when hunters--I think they're called--came chasing after the petpet for stealing food for me. I just hope it's all right where ever it may be."
Once again Syloleah paused. Though this time she looked as though she were trying to remember something.
."Where did you travel next?"
."To a mountainis range.... I remaember a cliff I stood on. So windy.." her voice faded as she spoke.

. She then Chuckled. "I also remember another forest I came upon. The Moonlight Forest I believe. I met a most delightful uni there. Larysa. She was kind and a great leader. Shes got heart." She smiles at you. "Though I've travled far I've not much more to tell you. For some places the memories are too foggy.

."A kind, noble leader. Unlike other leaders I have met, she's not to bent on fighting. She only cares about the well-being of her herd. I hope to join her herd someday. She's told me I'm welcome whenever I wish to come, for which I am most greatful."
."Why didn't you stay there?" you ask.
."I just didn't feel ready to settle into herd life yet. Plus, I still feel committed to searching for my father."
