I honestly did try the whole, "Wheeeee happy happy funny clever silly super informative" application section, but about four sections into it I realized I sounded strained and awkward. I thought I would just be as casual and silly as I was with Chy, but it soon occurred to me that the only reason I could sound so casual and silly was because Chy was such a silly character.
Quantos, however, is not a happy-go-lucky character, and it was just creepy to go from dark and vacant to cheerful and spontanous.

So instead, I'm simply going to cut down my application section into the absolute necessities: Me, my plans, my accounts, why Quan, why me, and why not me.
Easy enough, yes?

Welcome Nochface, to the beginning of the game.

My name is Rosa. I am a girl. I am a high schooler. I've been playing Neopets for 5 years, and I have had the same pets that entire time. Pretty much the same basic concept, too. You can actually match up Cherry's age with the age of my account. :3

I love musicals. A lot. I love writing a whole lot more than musicals, which has to mean something. I read all kinds of authors -- Stephen King, Vivian Vande Velde, Eion Colier, and Meg Calbot to name a few. I dislike anime, though, sadly, it's the only style I learned how to draw. I love swimming, dancing, and network television (Scrubs = best show ever). I listen to a wide selection of music, most of which are chart-toppers and pop hits, though I have a few lesser known bands, including my absolute favorite singer, Her Space Holiday, and an obsessive amount of Snow Patrol and Panic! At the Disco. I recently saw the film Silence of the Lambs and it actually blew my mind, however I had to see it in secret so I can't make references to it which is killing me a little bit.

Why Quantos?

Why Quan, really? Why not any of the other hundreds of pets on the database, seeing that Quan isn't even on the database.
Well, honestly, it's his name.
First off, name: there's something about the letter 'Q' that I've always loved. I have no idea why, though. Some people like 'X', some people like 'Z', I like 'Q'.
And the way it sounds. Quan. Kwaaahn.
Then there's what it became. Quantos. Because Quan reminded me of the Spanish word 'cuantos', which is slang for "whatever".

Honestly, I would apply for Quan no matter what species he was. My memory remembered him because of his royal color, but I love his name so much that I wouldn't care if he was anything else. If he suddenly changed colors I would still apply. If he was any other species, anything; Acara, Aisha, Krawk, Yurble, Skeith, Moehog, Tusky, Gelert, anything, I would apply. Any color, even, though with his design I would probably save up to paint him purple. I love Quan's name, period.

So why, you ask, would I change it? I call him Quantos (..most of the time), after all. This is a simple device I use, separating my design from yours and from fellow applicants. This is my way of saying, "Hello, I am not trying to be your Quan, or Nattie's Quan, or Idio's Quan. I am Rosa's Quantos." And it helps ease confusion over characters.

Plans

There would be the obvious: He receives everything in his gallery, he receives his petpage, and his lookup. I would LOVE to BC him, though it may be difficult. The shows I'm in require a lot of after school practice. That, plus, high school is so much more difficult than I imagined. If I get him I'll BC him the first Friday that comes, as people suggest you BC a pet directly after receiving them, but I might not be able to advertise until weeks later.
He probably won't be role played too much. I have a very strict plotline (as I plan on using this for a future novel, after my baby series is published) and adding too many close characters could interfere, though he would be written about a lot. A section would be added with short stories that include him, and over time this section would probably include more work than his art section. I prefer writing over art, which some people dislike, but hey, what works works

Why not me

This is me forgoing the entire "why me" section. I dunno, mostly because I would just be repeating what is mentioned earlier. However, you deserve to hear the other side.

1. Quan would never be moved to my main. Period. This is only because I am never moving my four babies off my main.

2. I am going to go ahead and say that I will never be able to have him place overall like you did with Quan, and I'm probably never going to do anything amazing enough to have you mail me and say "I knew I picked the right owner." like Lira did with you.

3. I stalked your threads. xD With Wifey. I dunno why this would count against me but I'm listing it all the same.

4. I'm not giving him a petpet. I considered giving him Niatsu's petpet, a ghost whoot named Deathblow, but I realized that a petpet does not fit either of their designs.

5. It might look like I'm half-applying for Niatsu. x.x I'm sorry, but I've been scared of that since I started this application.
