Requirements for Membership

As we're sure you've seen by now, we have a few requirements for our potential new members. While there will be exceptions to these rules, please follow these when looking for people to join our guild.

Accounts 10 months or older

Individuals 18 years of age or older

Main accounts only -- a quick way of determining this is see if the person has an active shop on their account. Since shops are only allowed on main accounts... look for one.

As said before, exceptions will be made. Please have potential members neomail Amber or Bethany to have them address these issues.

Spotting our Boards

Our boards are simple to spot!! On days when we are recruiting, we will post links on the guild board.

On days when you do not see a link, please look for the follow:

All of our boards should be titled this unless otherwise stated, so please look for this before starting a new one.

Making a New Board

As said above, we would like to keep them uniform and easy to spot by our members. While you may create your own opening statements, please use our title.

Hello my name is - Insert Name Here - and I'm a member of Addicted Neopians Anonymous. We are a Private Adult (18+) NR guild. We are a well established guild, with 4 years of great leadership under our belts. With just over 55 members, we're looking to add new exciting faces to our guild family. Love to chat, collect things, or just addicted to neopets in every single way? Well ANA is for you. We are currently looking for: 1)Accounts aged 10 months+ 2)Members aged 18 or more 3)Main accounts only please

Below you will find a link to the Guild section of the Neopets Boards. When making a new board, please post a link of your board on our ANA Chat board.

What to say on someone else's board!

A very effective way of finding potential members is to post on their boards. If you see any board that says GUILDLESS in the title, that is the best place to start working. The following example may be used if needed. If the person says to not use premades, PLEASE refrain from using the following and come up with something original.

Hey I am *Insert Name Here*. I am a member of ANA (Addicted Neopians Anonymous) We are a Private Adult (18+) NR guild. With just over 55 members, we're looking to add new exciting faces to our guild family. For the time being, we are opening the guild to the public so everyone can check out the guild. What NOT to Say When Advertising

While advertising there are a few things you should NOT say. Please refrain from using the words:

Prize(s)

Contest(s)

When saying things of this nature, please refer to them as events and gifts. If you do not just like on the guild boards, saying these words will not only get the guild in trouble but will get you warned from us as well.

Someone Interested - Send Them Here!

If you find a person that is interested in the guild? Well that's GREAT! As of this moment we are a Private guild so an invite is required. Please have the person neomail the following to Amber, Bethany, Elizabeth , Krista, or Heather:

Name

Age

Who referred them (that would be your username)

If the person does not want to contact us, you may also send us this information. Either way an invite should be on it's way within 24 hours. Please be patient with us, we will respond to their request as promptly as possible.

Note: PLEASE do not post "This person would like an invite" on the guild message board. This will most likely lead to lost usernames and could end in a loss of a potential member

Recruiting Party

As I'm sure you know, each and every third Tuesday is our Meet and Greet event. Adding to this event, we will now also set up a board advertising the guild where members can chat amongst themselves while we meet new potential members. During these times, we will open the guild to the public to allow others to view our guild without the hassle of invites. When Bethany and/or Amber have left for the night, the guild will become private again.

Top Recruiters

As a type of loyalty program, we will be keeping track of which members recruit the most new faces. In the months to come a chart with everyone who recruited at least one member will be listed below. Just like neo's referral program, ANA will be gifting those who help bring in new faces. What that gift will be... well I won't tell you.
