Our Roleplay

If you want to know more about the roleplaying that goes on in Aegis then you've come to the right place.
First off let's get this straight. Aegis roleplays offsite so the character pages are also located offsite. This means that you will not have to use a petpage for your character or ooc on the guild board.
Let me break down roleplaying for you. So you create your character using our form, right? Good. Your character has been approved so now you plot their relationships with other characters at camp. Along with that you sign up with the face claim page so everybody knows who plays your character. Now you're ready to jump into the roleplaying action!
You can either decide to post an intro anywhere and invite anyone to join you or you can prearrange to roleplay with people. Your character will be at camp unless they are sent out on a quest. To get a quest you must apply. How to apply is found further down on this page.
That's all! It's not too hard now is it? Sure, I could have gone into detail, but that would have bored you even more.

Rules

So like with everything there are rules. These rules can be found on this page and on the roleplay form, so you can't say you never saw them.

.001. Be literate. Just like on our message boards we expect you to be literate while roleplaying as well. Nobody wants to read an illiterate post.

.002. Be realistic. That's right. There is no such thing as a blinking purple scar or tiger stripped skin, well unless you're a god or goddess. But you are a demigod my friend so you will have no such thing. If you're a son of Zeus is it possible for you to talk underwater? I think not. Must I state my point in black and white? I hope not.

.003. Respect. R-E-S-P-E-C-T. There's a song for a reason. Respect everyone on the board, alright? Not hard to do.

.004. Out of Character (OOC)Even though we aren't on neo you may want to post a comment on your roleplay. You can, as long as OOC is used.

.005. Name your account after your character. First Last. That's how it should go. Please be sure you're happy with your character's name. It's definitely a pain to change account names for the admin. Also make sure you take a look at our character page BEFORE making an account. We can't have characters with the same name, now can we?

.006. Follow the rules of Aegis. The roleplaying boards are still apart of Aegis so we expect our rules to be followed there as well

.007. No power play or god moding. You do not have the power to control another person's character and your character is not perfect. Oh, and don't go picking off other people's characters without their permission. Simple as that, right?

Quest Application

Think you can handle a quest? Well then you must apply for one! Keep in mind that you apply on our roleplaying form.
There are some requirements in order to gain a quest, but don't worry their not hard.

.001. You must be a member of the guild for at least two weeks.

.002. You must roleplay with your character for at least a week.

.003. Once you apply for a quest there is no turning back. Be sure you are ready for one.

.004. Only two other campers are allowed to join you on your quest so choose wisely. These characters will then be notified they have been asked to join a quest and then are given the option whether they will accept it or not. To ensure that the other campers accept you should Private Message them before hand to ask.
