NEWBIE BATTLING GUIDE So you want to fight in the battledome, but you have absolutely NO idea where to start? The BattleDome is filled with people who are experienced, and those who aren't... if you want to fight in the battledome, then you might as well be good at it! The first thing you'll need is a good lineup of weapons and the knowledge of how to use them. Even before you try two player fighting, give the chia clown a try. If you win without any trouble... you are ready (sort of :P). If he still gives you a hard time, keep practicing! Remember, practice makes perfect. For 2-Player fighting there is no right or wrong way to fight. Just keep trying until you find a strategy that seems to work for you. Yes, these items may look expensive for some of you. So save up those neopoints, play lots of games, sell items in your shop, trade, buy items from neopet shops and sell them in your shop for higher prices (restocking)... anything to make nps! After you have saved up and bought these weapons, you are finally ready to start fighting. It may look the same as the first set, but it's a lot more effective. The ability to freeze will help you win many more battles. BD Lineup Cost: 42,000 np Weapons Icons Description Price Slime potion -- heals 10 1,500 nps Lost Desert Dagger 3 earth, 3 fire -- 12,000 nps Immense Rubber Axe of Doom 2 dark, 2 earth, 1-2 pysical Defends 1-2 earth and 1-2 pysical 2,500nps Leaf shield -- Defends water, earth and pyscial, varies 3,000 nps Snowglobe Staff 3 light, 3 air or freezes, makes a yellow snowball, breaks, or does nothing -- 4,000 nps Spider on a String 6 earth -- 8,000 nps Sticky Snowball 5 earth, 5 water, 1-5 pysical -- 700 nps Downsize! -- Defends half of all damage done (only 1/3 in 1P) 10,000 nps Intermediate Set Here is your basic intermediate set. There are so many choices at this point it's hard to decide. But this is a simple set that should work well. It's a very solid lineup that will do you justice in the battledome.
