He first appeared in 2004, but didn't really have very much to say for himself; if you clicked on him he would occasionally say "..." or "0_o" but didn't do much else. Most people believed he was meant to have played a role in the Guildmaster's Dinner Logic Puzzle, since he appeared at roughly the same time. The theory was that he would act as a source of clues, but the puzzle was cancelled shortly after and so this was never confirmed.

After lying there for five years, he got a much-needed makeover during the 2009 Faerie Festival and started giving out Neopoints and items! You can now visit him once a day for the chance of a prize.

TDMBGPoP also plays a part in being able to chat on the Jelly World boards.
Shortly after the release of this new daily, TNT announced something else that had to do with the plushie....a new avatar!

Spiffy, eh? The Plushie awards this to people randomly, so all you have to do is visit it.

What happens if I visit it?

First Approach

Somebody has left their Blue Grundo Plushie here. What a poor unwanted little guy, maybe you should talk to him... no, he's just a toy, he won't answer you. Don't be silly!

Second Approach

What? You have already visited the plushie today, and he appreciates your attention, but he needs to sleep now.

Outcomes

You wait around for a bit, but nothing seems to happen. Best be on your way.
The worst outcome...you don't get anything. :( Maybe you should try again tomorrow!

PET NAME is so excited to visit the little plushie s/he forgets s/he was hungry.
Your active pet's hunger level will increase by one. For an example, if they're "bloated" they will be "very bloated".

Nothing seems to make a Neopet feel better than a soft little plushie, and PET NAME is no exception. S/he is looking better already.
If your pet is sick, they will be healed.

Haven't you been feeding PET NAME lately? It looks like s/he is about to eat the plushie! Best find them some real food quick.
Your active pet's hunger will level will decrease by one. For example, if they are "very hungry" they will go down to being "famished".

Seeing the poor discarded plushie seems to dampen PET NAME's mood. Perhaps you should return a different day.
Your active pet's mood will go down one level. For example, if they are "extremely happy" they will go down to being "cheerful".

While staring at the discarded plushie, PET NAME has an epiphany, and seems a bit more enlightened.
Your active's pet intelligence will increase by a few points.

The plushie remains ever silent, but as you leave you notice XXX Neopoints on the ground. Perhaps it was good luck or...
You get Neopoints! The amount you receive varies between about 50 and 3,000 Neopoints, although the averge is roughly 1,500 NP.

There is no response from the plushie, but as you turn around you kick a small object. Oh, it's a ITEM NAME!
You receive a random toy. The list of items seems to extend to all toy items (See Items part of guide) with a rarity of less than 90; this means that you can potentially receive wearable items, charms (which can be put into your stamp album), and even some unbuyable toys too.

It was very kind of you to visit this worn little plushie. Oh what's this? There is a NEW plushie on the ground nearby! You're sure you can give the PLUSHIE NAME a new home!

You get one of the six plushies which are available exclusively from this daily.
