This is a small guide with pictures to help people beat the required score of 40.000 for Snot Splatter in the 2010 daily dare. Hope you like it - if not, there are links to other guides at the bottom of the page :)

The "x2" multiplier. This will double the amount of points you get from the snots. You get this powerup if you destroy between 19 and 30 balls (no more than 29, no less than 20) in a single go. You will use this twice if you follow the advice below. | |||

The "drop doubler". This drop makes every drop of snot created due to its use behave like it is in fact TWO drops.
This means that every drop on screen will be able to destroy both
This is incredibly useful, and in fact essential. You will need to use this on every level, except on 1,2,3 and 6. You get one of these beauties when you destroy over 40 balls in one go. Emphasised for importance: this powerup does NOT just influence the ball of snot you use it on. It influences ALL drops on screen that are a result of its use. |

As you can see, the center is all pumped up. Had you been using the drop doubler, all the balls in the center could have been one size less - yet still would have resulted in the lovely effect seen when we pop one:

Yes, you read that correctly. You do NOT want to clear it at once, but you want to get two of those lovely X2 modifiers for later use.
You acomplish this by bursting 20-29 snot bubbles at once - no less than 20, no more than 29. If you get less or more - restart the game and try again. Yes, this is hard. Yes, this is frustrating. Do it anyway. And you will get something like this:

Once you succeed, fill all the bubbles to bursting level and destroy them in one go. This will give you the second X2. Yay !

Aaaand buurssst !
First, pump up the centerballs as shown earlier. In case you forgot, here is the example image again:

Then, with only one drop left in your beaker, use the X2 on one of the pumped up ones. See those lovely points coming in ! And if you did it right, the whole grid will be clear AND you will have a drop doubler.
Advanced tip: if you add some *extra* single drops at the sides of the grid, there is a high chance they will also be burst. Since every extra explosion in a long chain awards loads of points, this can speed up the beating of AAA significantly. It is not needed though. Use your own judgement when to do this and when not - in this and following levels
The same as level 2 - only the screen is bigger. Soooo... MORE POINTS ! WOOHOO !

Sadly, you now no longer have X2 modifiers. But you do have two drop doublers. Time to make them work ! First, pump the area around the center again. But this time, only go as far as this:


Again: notice how many balls are now only filled to lvl 4. They will still be cleared. Hurrah !
If one or two balls remain: no biggy. Just click them a few times till they are gone. You should have gotten a drop doubler back, so still have 2.
Level six is divided into 2 independent sides. Just clear them one by one by pumping one side up to full balls and clicking. Then clear the other side. You will have less than 25 (but probably over 15) drops left when done, but that does not matter. As long as you still have your drop doublers all is fine.
The remaining levels all are basically the same as level 4 and 5 - just far more complex looking ;) You WILL need a drop doubler per level here - and you WILL need to get it back. Be careful... you only have one spare...
