Welcome and a Guide to Using
Welcome to Dani's Dailies, a simple gist of all of the things I make sure I do daily. They're all meaningless tasks which you don't need all too much brain power to do, and the majority of them won't take long. This site is designed to be used in the order its written in. At the top of the page are the 'backgrounders' - the things you should set up when you first start getting dailies to eliminate dire boredom.
After that the dailies are (vaguely) in order of how much money/reward you'll achieve with using them, so if you get distracted and only get half way through you'll have the best ones.
Included are some 'mindless games'; the sort of games you can play while on the phone, ill or really tired and still get a decent amount of neopoints.
Check back regularly to collect your freebies - this is constantly getting new things added to it!
Enjoy!
P.S. If you have any questions or you think that some of the links are out of date please neomail me (random_typer).
Backgrounders
| Daily | Comments |
| Adver-Video! | Useful 'game' which lets you get neopoints for watching videos. Unfortunately, there's only one vid at the moment that you have to watch 5 times to get full points, so best as a backgrounder |
| The Wheel of Monotony | *New* This is the link to the petpage to show how to avoid a long wait just for a rock. Enjoy! It only costs 100np, and its good to just have in the background, so put it |
| Healing Faerie | OK, so not strictly a backgrounder, but its good to click on this first. She heals every half hour so check back after you've finished your dailies too! |
| Snowager!! | What time is it? What time are you planning to go off neopets? Keep an eye on the times when dear Snowy's asleep to grab yourself a Negg! |
| Stock Market | If you have stocks, check on them regularly! If not, feel free to have a go. The neoboard will show you plenty of tips on how to start. |
Freebie Dailies
| Daily | Comments |
| Wheel of Slime | The only free wheel on neopets. Prizes of 100np-2000np |
| Daily trivia quiz | Quick way to earn roughly 250-500np. Search on google or neopets for the answer (unless you happen to know it :P) |
| Fruit Loops! Hidden | Hidden np - Hover over until you can find a red np. 300np |
| Son of the mask! Hidden | Hidden np - Hover over until you can find a red np. 250np |
| Coming Soon! Hidden | Hidden np - Hover over until you can find a red np. 200np |
| Toy Chest | This daily used to be good, but now its pretty mediocre. Items aren't worth a lot, usually, but there's sometimes neopoints |
| Quasalan epila- the Scarab thing | Deposit you scarab in to get neocash or neopoint prizes! |
| Evil Slorgs XD | Go to the Shop of Offers and a slorg will give you 50-250np |
| Jelly!! | Free Jelly time. Yum. Usually pretty worthless, but it feeds your pets. Always check how much an unusual looking jelly is worth before feeding your pets, though (But shh... it doesn't exist) |
| Omelet. | Again, usually pretty worthless, but it feeds your pets. Again, some rare omelets can actually be worth money so keep an eye out |
| A meteor?? | Go terrorise a poor meteor! This one actually has given me some pretty good stuff before, but its quite rare. |
| Coltzan's Shrine | Do you feel stronger, richer, wiser, higher leveled? Or just vaguely warmer? |
| Underwater Fishing | Want junk? You've got it! Want something better? Maybe you'll get lucky! If nothing else you can get an avatar |
| Tiki Tack's Tombola! | Again, mostly junk but a few good things |
| The Lost City! | You scared? Mostly you get nothing or just get hurt, but once in a while you'll find a gem |
| Fruit Machine | People have been known to get paintbrushes on this one, but don't be surprised if all you get from years of using it is an ummagine |
| Altordors Reward | If you've finished the altador quest, go get your daily reward. If you haven't done the the plot, you should, its fun :) |
| Lunar Temple | Try and solve this puzzle. There are plenty of guides, like this one |
| Freebies | Once a month, TNT are nice and give you free stuff. Technically not a daily, hence why its at the bottom, but its good to check if its time or not |
Non-Freebie Dailies
| Daily | Comments |
| Lab Ray | If you've got the map, use it :D |
| (Winter) (Desert) (Spooky) (Premium) Scratchcards | Buy a scratchcard. Premium members - check if the space faerie card is in. Either scratch or sell your card (sell usually gets more money) |
| Wheel of Fortune | This wheel is a nice wheel (usually). |
Mindless Games
| Daily | Comments |
| Catch the Petpet | Find your neopet from a crowd... yey |
| Super Dailey Survey | Drop the ball in the right hole. Easy. |
| Splat Bugs | just hit them as they appear |
| Fashion Fever | Press Randomize. Press End Game. Get 300np. Repeat three times. :D |
| Potato Counter | Counting potatoes? I could do that with my eyes closed! |
| Revel Round-up NC-Shopping Race Super-Shopping-Spree Usuki Frenzy 2 |
Essentially they're all the same game - running around and picking up items. You can do them half asleep, and they get you a fair amount of np |
| Meerca Chase | Go as fast or slow as you want. Medium takes least brainpower and most points for me. |
| Hansee Bounce | All you need to do is press space-bar to jump. There's some skill, but it becomes natural so it requires little brain skill. You don't even have to bother with the arrow keys - they're just a distraction to me. |
| Rubbish Dump Second Hand Shop |
I've been converted to the scrounging way... People do get rid of a lot of good things in the second hand shop, and some good things can be seen in the rubbish dump (if enough people are looking) and luckily not too many people are there to beat you to the good stuff! |
| Hide 'n' Seek | For some reason your neopet gives you money if you find him. I wonder where the little thief got the money in the first place... play until he gets bored :D Hint: Use the tab button to find all the places he/she can be! |
Still looking for more?/Avatars
NB: Listed here are the sorts of things that may show up on other peoples dailies. Although they're worth a mention, I find them either too time consuming, too pointless or too expensive. Some are also only worth having if you want the avatars.| Daily | Comments |
| Buried Treasure | Some people can't get over their Buried Treasure. It may have good prizes, but I've been playing for years and with my best prize being a one-time booby prize, and at 300np per ticket, I'd advise you to look elsewhere. |
| Bank Interest | Come on, if you're earning enough to make a decent amount in interest then why would you care about that loose change? Still, free nps are free nps... |
| Grumpy Old King Wise Old King | This pair aren't easily amused, but they'll occasionally give you a little change for your effort |
| Symol Hole Big Fat Petpet | I've never, ever got anything from these, but one day... |
| Money Tree | You'd make a lot more money if you actually played games then wasting time trying to beat loads of other players to another pile of dung... |
| Any other wheel: (Mediocrity) (Knowledge) (Misfortune) | The odds are really against you on the other wheels. The only one where the odds are OK at best is the Wheel of Knowledge - some people keep playing because it has high np prizes, but that's because it has a high price. Most of the time you only end up with 'advice'. |
| Soup Kitchen | If you care about your pet and you have very little money, go for it. Otherwise its useless. Besides, its not like your pet can die. |
| Island Mystic Haiku Generator |
These are (as far as I'm aware) avatar only dailies. If you want the avatar, check up on them. If you already have it or don't care, don't. |
| Concert Hall | I've never been, but research has lead me to believe this is useless unless you want the avatars - and its expensive. If you want the avatars or the prizes (though there's nothing really exciting) there are plenty of guides as to which ones to go to (though I can't send any links as they're all off-neopets) |
