♦Practice makes perfect♦
Trust me, it took a long time for me to get the avatar, and I did it with out a guide. If I could do it solely on practice, then i think you can do it too. I know you hear this everywhere, but in order to get better, practice is required ;)

This shows the power ups and what they do, this guide is for strategies, so if you don't know the instructions, read them!

Okay, here we see the options. Zen mode lets you go through as many levels as you want with the normal rules, but you get no points.
Classic mode is the one we will play and follows the normal rules
Extreme mode is easier in the beginning but gets hard really quick, blocks keep adding up, and when they get to the top your game is over.
Double trouble is the same as classic except there are 2 games going on at once
Double trouble extreme is just like its sounds, its the same rules as extreme mode, except there are 2 games instead of one
So before we break any bricks, I'm going to give some tips
1. always save a color, generally the color that is easiest to group together or the one that has the X3 power up.
2. Go from the top to the bottom and try to see if one move will affect another. I'll show an example of what I mean later
3. Use your power ups wisely! they can help you get a high score in a level.
4. Get rid of the timer! Please try to get rid of it, the timer is usually in the middle somewhere and when you get rid of it it could ruin some choices you had above. If this is the case, try to get the top blocks out first then go for the timer. It really just depends on the layout.
5. The X3 Icon doesn't appear until the 140 round
The walk-through

So this is what level one looks like. If you have a timer, get rid of that first. Okay so here the first thing I see is blue. The second thing i see is gray, and that's the one we are going to base the level on. The power up we have here (red) gets rid of all the blue bricks, so I'm not going to have that be the color I save.
Instead, it looks like the second most abundant color is gray. So I will be saving Gray.
I'm going to walk through my strategy for this level using the tips above.

Starting from the top I got rid of #1 and then #2, these are the most obvious that don't effect any other blocks. #1 dropped an orange down, but that is beneficial

#1 and #2 are the easy choices, #3 I picked because from it the ones with ♦ are going to move down and group together. Plus it gets rid of a big blue area which we were going to get rid of anyway.

#1 I picked because even though it splits the block above it, the gray square is going to add to the group below.
#2 Is also going to split a group, but I'm not that worried about it because the big blue group(◘) is going to bring the gray right back down again.
#3 is a very good move because it changes a lot of unconnected blocks and is going to make groups.
#4 Just adds to the green group below it.

The reason I start with green(#1) instead of orange(#2) is because by getting rid of the green first, the orange above it falls and adds to #2. After that we can get the three orange blocks instead of two orange and a left over.
#3 Has a power up where and extra line of bricks will fall.(hope for Gray ;D)

So with our extra row of blocks here, we are ready to get rid of the big blue combo. However, once we get rid of that, all the other blues will disappear. So we must first get rid of all the blue blacks we can.
Red represents what we want to do, however if got rid of red #1, the black#1 would be impossible do do, so we must do black #1 first.
The power up I have circled is very important. it shuffles up all the blocks on the board and can give more combos. So we must be sure to collect it and we can use it later.
So for black #3, it will take away the combo that allows us to get the power up. However, looking ahead we can see that #4 will just drop the power up on the ground, connecting it to the other grays on the ground.

#1 is the orange, blue and green, they can be done in any order and still get the same result.
#2 is going to affect a lot of the blocks above it. The orange combo(♦) will just move down and not separate which is good. However the rest of the blocks above it will shift, and the ones with red lines will connect. One which is blue, this is good to get points for blue blocks since we will be getting rid of them anyway.
#3 also has a big effect on the blocks above it, but since none of the blocks are connected it doesn't matter. The worst that could happen would be some of the blocks connect and we can get more points. Don't worry about the gray blocks, they will stay together.
#4 is an easy choice.

Okay, nearly done with the blues. #1 is both the blue and orange. Get rid of them both.
#2 is below, we must get rid of it now or else the big blue combo will ruin our chance at it.
I did not put a number 3. The gray combo at the top(◘) is actually what I would get next. I know it's gray and we are saving gray, but at this point in the game, there is no way that combo is going to make it to a bigger group. so we can safely click on it.

#1 is orange, and even though it splits the gray combo above it, I don't mind because in the end, the blues will leave and the grays will come back together.
When we get rid of the orange, the two blues with the red line will connect, that will be your second move.
#3 are the blues right below the oranges.

Okay, we ran out of ways to connect blues, even if we destroy the little green combo, it won't get us any further with the blues, so we can finally get rid of the big blue combo.

Much flatter now. The only combos we have left are gray. Get the small one in the corner first (◘) even though it messes up your big gray combo, it still gives you the oranges that will connect. Once you eliminate the oranges, the grays will all come back together.

Get the green. Notice how we have already passed the score by 21 points and we still haven't gotten out big combo yet.
After green go ahead and get the big gray worth 108 points. Plus it got rid of all the grays and we got a power up.

Okay, from here there is no way to eliminate every single block. But we can come close. Click on the green then the orange and we will have a single green block remaining.

for one block remaining we get 90 bonus points, bringing our total for level one to 330.
The timer
The timer is an annoying aspect of the game. We must get rid of it, but at the same time we have to be smart.

The timer is circled in black. It is usually what you want to get rid of first. however, if we do that in this case, we would move all the blocks above it and ruin combos. So, going from top to bottom, we get rid of top blocks before the timer.
We are given 15 seconds before the timer runs up. That is enough time to do the above 4 moves.
Note from the second picture, all of the blocks connected to the timer change to rocks. These cannot be broken and are just an obstacle.

Here, instead of clicking the gray blocks above #1, we click the greens. That's because the grays above add to the timer combo.
I don't have a picture for this, but some times, the timer is so far on the bottom, or you don't care about the blocks above that you can just click it with out worrying. And yes, there are times when we don't care about combos.

Here is one of the times where the timer isn't already in a combo. in this case, if you can get any combos above it before you mess up the bottom go for it. But it's hard to do, and I usually just try to get rid of the timer as fast as possible. here all we need to do is get the 2 grays on the bottom and then the timer will connect with the blues.
Additional power ups
This one is about the morph block. I really don't pay attention to it until I need to. in most cases, just use it to your advantage in which you can get the most points, or let it connect 2 groups. Like here it can connect the grays.
Another thing here is the volcano block. it destroys one layer of blocks around it. Always save it for the end unless your in a situation where clicking it would give you more combs than with out clicking it. When I play, the volcano rock is almost always my last move in the level. It is also the only block that can destroy the rocks obtained from failing to get rid of the timer.
The X3 Power up

The X3 icon is very valuable. Sometimes when playing we can get very lucky if get this power up early on in the game. Here, what I'm going to do it make gray the color I save. This doesn't always work out. Sometimes the color of the X3 is not the most abundant color of bricks. Here I would say its high along with blue and green, so it's safe to save it.

This is the same level after I save gray and used the method in my walk-through. You can see that there is a huge amount of grays all connected to the X3 power up. This is what we are aiming for in the game, this particular one gives out a whopping 288 points!

Okay here is a good example of having the X3 block be a minority. I have a different strategy for this, but make sure you have the mix up power up. So what I'm going to do is save the grays, but also ave a regular color like in a normal level. So I choose gray and green. Your goal for these levels are mainly the same, don't worry about having a lot of left over blocks. Just try to get rid of as many blocks that aren't green or gray.

This is the finished product, it is sloppy and doesn't look very nice. Now that we saved the greens, so we can get rid of them. Try to get as many points as you can while still saving the grays

This is the product after the greens have been taken out. This late in the game it can be hard to pass levels with this strategy and you might not want to do it, because here comes the gambling part. Now click the mix up power up and and get rid of all the new combos, saving gray again.

This gamble didn't exactly go as planned, ideally the X3 would be where the majority of the grays are. Now we just hope for the best and finish the level.

Here is a time where the gamble did pay off and i was able to advance to the next level. I don't have the end picture of after I switched the blocks around because I forgot to take the screenie and the level ended. But this is just to show you that it works :)
The Eliminator Block
-missing picture, ignore please 0:-)-Here, we can get rid of all the yellows in the level, But by doing that we would ruin some of out gray combos. #1 wouldn't be affected, in fact, it would grow into a larger group, but #2 would be separated be the yellow(♦). So even though I'm saving grays in this level, I can click #2 because this is the best time where I can get the most points for that combo.
Additional Tips!

◘-Know when to quit!-◘Sometimes(like above)there are combos you can still get but will ruin your biggest point scorer. Here, I could get a bunch of small combos below the big X3, but they wouldn't help the cause. So even with out all the combos collected, I can still click the X3 and then do the others. They way to tell when you can do this, is when none of the little combos will add to the X3.

◘-Use the mix up icon-◘ You don't only have to use it the way I suggested before, if you are saving a color in general, don't be afraid to use it. In the picture above, there is a good chance that when I shuffle the blocks, a bunch of grays will be together due to the fact that there are mostly grays left on the board. Or if you think that you can pass a level if you shuffle the remaining blocks, do that too.
keep a Pair open (don't click on it)if you plan to shuffle the blocks around for more points. It you don't then it will just go to the next level or give you a game over depending on the score. If you have a volcano block then you don't need to worry about it.
◘-Use the undo icon-◘ If you mess up, undo! I do it some times to, I click some pair below and then I see it ruin or separate some combo upstairs. Just click that paw print and your on your way again :)

◘-Don't always go for the X3-◘ Usually yes, go for it, but in this rare case in the later levels, you would lose points. We would normally get rid of all colors except red, but since there are so few, we would be wasting the opportunity of saving another color (possibly blue here). You can still try to save a few reds that are close(in this case the red above it) and try for some bonus points, but don't make it the main color that you save.
◘-Be smart with the extra row of blocks-◘ If you have the power up that eliminates a color and the power ups that gives an extra line of bricks, get rid of the former first. If you get rid of one color, that color will not show up in your extra line of bricks!
◘-Judge when to use The Eliminator Block-◘ Don't click it early on in a level, try to get as many points as you can off of that color. Even if in the beginning there are no combos of that color, when you go about clicking blocks, some combinations of that color may emerge. so don't be too quick in clicking that button.
◘-Always try to get bonuses-◘ The first couple levels are the easiest because there aren't that many blocks. the fewer blocks left, the higher the end bonus. You can only get the end bonus if you finish the level. Only then will it be added to your score.
◘-Don't worry-◘ When you play, you won't always get amazing combos like in the walk-through for every single level. In the beginning it is easier, but it's a lot with luck and hoping the X3 goes on the right color.
◘-Luck always plays a part-◘ It can be your good fortune like in those amazing combos we had earlier, or it can be your downfall like when we took a gamble and it didn't pay off. It all just depends on how the bricks fall.
Done!
i know that was a lot :P but I really hope it helps. If you get the avatar because of my guide send me a neomail. I would really like to know if this does any good X) Thank you for reading my guide, pass it on if you find it useful :)
