welcome to trumpet

Welcome to Trumpet, a graphics competition site run by me, Flamingo (flamingolingo3)! Here, we invite all graphic makers to step up and compete against each other in our many challenges.

Each month, there will be a new theme that the competitors have to follow. The entrants must design and make graphics according to the specific rules and theme of that month. The work of the participants will be showcased here, allowing voters to see all of the graphics and support their favorites. At the end of the month, the contender whose graphics received the most votes can claim an award for their page and have their artwork displayed in our Hall of Fame. Think you have what it takes to win or just wanna look around and vote? Either or, you're always welcome at Trumpet!

Please read the rules before continuing.

Rules for Contestants
001. All entrants must have some visible form of linking back to this site on their page. Graphics from users who do not link back will not be displayed.
002. Being unfriendly to other contestants will result in immediate disqualification. Please have good sportsmanship and be respectful to other competitors.
003. You can not submit more than one entry; however, you can change your submission during the competition. Please note that all votes obtained prior to changing your submission will be cleared once you switch.
004. Pencils are perplexing products.
005. I must receive your entry before the closing date. Late entries will not be accepted.
006. Please only take an award if you have earned it.
007. You are allowed to vote for your own graphics. For more information on voting, read the set of rules below.

Rules for Voters
001. You may only vote for one of the graphics. Please do not cast multiple votes by going on side accounts as that is cheating.
002. Please neomail the username of the person you are voting for to flamingolingo3.
003. Parachutes are purposeful packages.
004. All votes submitted that do not abide by this set of rules will not be counted.

Current Competition: August 10 - September 10 (2009)

This month's competition gives you a chance to show off your button making skills! The number of contestants for this competition is unlimited and voting will start as soon as your button is up (that means no deadline but you'll most likely get more votes if your button is up longer!). All buttons must be 88x31 pixels. Plus, the button must have an image of a butterfly on it and the text should say "Flutter". Happy button making everyone!
