Guild NewsPeople will be able to write in to be included in the news. This will be broken down into several categories to include:
Upcoming EventsThe referral prizes are going to be revamped pretty soon.Also we will be going public as soon as Dung-chan catches up with everything. A new theme is coming soon. Hot Dogs are in the lead with 14 votes followed by Guild Newspaper/books with 10 votes, Music with 5 votes, Neopets Customization with 3 votes, and Neopets Games with 1 vote. Who are you person who's being an inadvisable?!?! Come out and show yourself! (Kidding). Some new classes will also be starting. Yay! Article 2Here is another article. Thank-you maltrkx for the article!What does every neopian want? A guide to reaching your goals Hi, I'm Max, today I am going to be your personal goal setter. In the society of Neopia every citizen has a goal, which is why neopians play games, enter in contests and play in the battledome. You may want to win 50 gaming trophies or zap your pets into beautiful colours, what ever your goal is there are steps to reach it, no matter how hard it is. 1. What do you like? To decide what your goals are you need to first think of what you like doing. Do you like to play in the battledome with your pets? If so do you want to make their stats higher or earn better weapons? Or if you already have those do you want to win a certain number of battles or the DoN trophies? What ever you like doing think of ways to improve. 2. What do you need to achieve that goal? Is it neopoints or good drawings? Write a schedule for what you need to earn. If you're good at sniping set a certain amount of time each day to earn your np or to draw your neopet for the BC. Make sure that you set a schedule that is easy to manage, if you're not that great at games don't set an unachievable amount to earn each day. Use your strengths to your advantage, if you are good at poetry, enter the competition to earn neopoints to help you paint your pet. 3. Now that you have your schedule, STICK TO IT. This is where you actually try and earn your goal, if you thought that you could earn 100k everyday by playing games but you can't reset your schedule. I have seen many neopians give up on their dreams just because they haven't set their schedule out properly and give up instead of adjusting their schedule. 4. So you have now spent the long grueling hours trying for your goal, it's just in your grasp, don't run out of puff because your almost there. Come on, I know you can do it. 5. Finally you have achieved your goal, whether it was Adam's elusive avatar or all four pets are gold banned, now its time for a well deserved break. It is alright to take a break from the Neopian society, you've earned it. But try not to be satisfied with just reaching for your goal. Set a new one, that's what makes Neopets so exciting, and reach for the sky… |
Article 3There will be several people involved in this. People can do one-time write-ups or a complete series that can be done biweekly or monthly. The articles will have to be hosted on the writers' own petpage. The beginning will be located on the newspaper page and then a 'More' link will link to the rest of the article very much like the Neopian Times does with it's articles. |
Fearless MysticThis will be kind of a mix between the Island Mystic and a horoscope. The person responsible will do a little write up for each astrological sign. Whoever is responsible for this will have to be witty and be able to come up with amusing horoscopes each biweek. |
Neofood ConnoisseurSomeone with a great imagination can do a write-up of a few of the neopian foods. Talking about the preparation, the taste, etc. Maybe even make up a recipe on how to make the food. |
Poetry CornerSeveral poems will be listed for all to see. We will also have a link to the poetry page for the past poetry entries. |

Current Job OpeningsPosition: Stock Tip Writer Requirements: This person will be responsible for writing a stock tip each biweek to include in the newspaper.Position: Cartoonist (Comic Writer) Requirements: There will be several people involved in this. Those interested will send in comics to be published in The Fearless Noize. This can be done biweekly, monthly, or done as a one time thing. Position: Writer Requirements: There are several of these positions open. These people will be responsible for writing articles, short stories, etc. for the paper. These can be done biweekly, monthly, or as a one-time writing. This info will all be held on one of the writer's petpages.

Classified AdsA person can create an ad for their shop, TP item, etc. to be included in the newspaper. Each biweek there will be different ads. If you have something like a Paint Brush at a great price, etc then this would be the perfect place to advertise it. If you are looking for certain items at reasonable prices, then again, this is the place for you. |
