Introduction

A petite silhouette stands quietly upon the hilltop, etched upon the sunrise, fur rippling in the soft breeze that whips about the meadow. Of her color, in the light her pelt seems a soft purple-tinged tone. Suddenly sensing someone behind her, the silhouette turns. Now Deep cobalt eyes meet yours, the figure seemingly choosing whether to fight or flee. Instead, the figure waits, and when she sees no attempt at harm, turns to you and walks, slowly, to where you are standing. A glowing blue circle arises from behind the knoll, following the vixen. As they draw closer, the circle is no circle, its a blue baby fireball. In it's light, you can now see that the fatale is tinctured amethyst, with splashes of cobalt on every paw and rings upon her long, thick tail. The whole aura about her was frailty. From her small stature to her thin legs and delicate features, the vixen looked as if she could be snapped in half with the faintest of efforts. The fireball darted overhead, its soft blue luminescence a warm glow.Welcome, wanderer. Please do stay awhile. Her petite head notioned to a nearby log, inviting you to sit.I am Skarde, and this is my home. And that little ball of light is Luminus, she said with a chuckle as it zipped around her head and landed on it. The flame did not bother her at all, Luminus apparently only burning when it felt it needed to.Many wonder why I choose to live a solitary life, but it is no wonder for me. I choose solitude, for it is the only way to protect myself - and others - from my visions. I am a seer, capable of looking into the future, but the future is not always clear to me. I am shown what is needed, and never more or less. But these visions are painful. In some I see death, and in others, life. But the future is changeable, there is no set path, so I do not share these visions with others. I could not bring myself to tell someone of their possible demise, for then I'd know it is my fault. I learned this the hard way, years ago...
