About Lucky Red Sock

Lucky Red Sock was created to provide the members of Scarlet Memories a place to role play casually. A lot of SM's members love to role play, but our board is too active to hold an actual role play, so we figured it would be better to have a guild just for role playing. The name Lucky Red Sock is definitely unique and we have Covu to thank for that.

Where to Role Play

You can role play on the guild if you want, but only the main plot can be role played on the guild. If you want to role play without restrictions you can. LRS has it's own ProBoard: LuckyRedSock @ PB The plot on there is the main plot as well, but you'll find a link to the side plot on the PB.

Rules

Yes, we have rules. So read them carefully. And to make sure you follow the rules, Kyra has drawn us our very own Kira.

Kira hates sues. Kira will make sure sues have been ELIMINATED.

General Rules

- All SM and Neopets rules must be followed at all times! Click here for a list of SM's rules.

Role Play Rules

Literacy:
- Please be at least semi-literate.

Characters:
- OCs and cannon are allowed. Cannons must be played correctly. You can use your pets if you wish, whether they have a character/design or not.
- Any species is allowed, including mixed breeds.
- Please, no Mary Sues or Gary Stues. Be original.
- You may have as many characters as you can handle.
- Pets/companions are allowed, but they must have a purpose.
- Characters must be hosted on your own petpage.

Posting/Tagging/Replying:
- At least one paragraph per post. Give us something to work of off.
- Keep one-liners to a minimum.
- No one shall die! This is just for kicks.
- Keep the lovey-dovey stuff to a minimum.
- Use some form of OOC. BIC is optional.

Plot

LRS actually has two plots. You can choose which plot you wish to role play. Just know that the main plot is what will be role played on the guild.

Main Plot: Fight for Naventh

In the city of Naventh a war rages between three tamer clans. The Droncras, who tame dragons, are feared among many for their strength and power. The Esmeirs are known for their loyalty and bravery as well as the majestic unicorns they tame. The Venriks tame griffins and are well known for their valor and intelligence. As the three clans fight for the right to claim the city of Naventh, its citizens are not amused by the damage done to their home and so they retaliate. Since Naventh is a city of power and magical history, it's only natural that most of its inhabitants are skilled magic users. So the civilians of Naventh have formed their own force to fend off the three rivaling clans. As the war wages on, wild mythic creatures roam around, some being tamed by the clans while the others are taken down to prevent even more damage to the city. If it wasn't for the Xanphier, the magical powerhouse at the center of the city, this war wouldn't be going on. The three clans want to use it to their own advantage, to give themselves powers like the city dwellers possess. And the Naventhians want to protect their magic source and keep all others out. But with all the magical activity of late, the Xanphier has been running out of power and taking longer and longer to refuel itself, leaving its city and people vulnerable at times. How much longer will the Xanphier last before it dies forever? What will the roaming creatures do to the city if they aren't stopped? Will one of the clans succeed and claim Naventh? Or will the Naventhians keep their home? Only time will tell.
- All characters, except the beasts, must be human. No vampires, werewolves, faeries, ect.
- Tamers have no powers and rely on magical objects and their beasts to get their jobs done.
- Naventhians are the only humans allowed to have magical powers.
- Each clan has ranks that you can work your way through.
- Positions of power are open for application. Ex: Leaders of the clans, second in command, ect.
- The roaming creatures can be any mythological creature or anything you make up.
- Real animals do exist as well.
- This is set in present day, so technology is available.
- The Xanphier is a spirit or a god who, in legend, is supposed to be immortal, but the recent events are driving it to the edge.
- There are positions of power in Naventh open for application. Ex: Xanphier sentinels, head sentinel, ect.

Old Plot: Dark Circle

Welcome to Shibuya! If you know the time, you know the rhyme. ….'The' rhyme. You do, don't you? Oops. Welcome, to a modern day Shibuya. A simple little district, with simple little places , and a simple little mysterious gang that happens to appear during the night. Curious members who have mysterious gifts, that prowl the alleyways and cause utter chaos.. All is in ruin for the district until a saving grace comes.

Mysteriously random people in Shibuya are hit with a gift when they wake up one morning. A Supernatural gift! Gifts. That when combined together can take down this horrible gang, and their dark leader. Nobody trusts anybody in this district. The people with gifts can't just go around and ask who has a gift, or show people their gift. For fear of being taken over by the dark circle. So, they must learn to control their powers before it is the end, while figuring out who is who.

But…
Can they learn how to use their powers?
Can they stay on the side of good with the evil trying to tear them away and to join their dark circle?
Can they find each other in enough time?
Can they win?
