As the Typing Terror game happens to be one of my favourite games on Neopets I have decided to produce an easy-to-follow guide.
Here are some quick facts:
Typing Terror has a rated average difficulty of 4.1 out of 5. It has the 10,000,000 plays medal, which looks like this:

The catergories you can find Typing Terror under are:

You need 3600 points for the Typing Terror avatar.
Click here to play Typing Terror!
A quick overview of ideal scores for each round:
● Level one: 450-600+ points
● Level two: 1000-1200+ points
● Level three: 1400-1600+ points
● Level four: 1900-2000+ points
● Level five: 2500+ points
● Defeating all 25 words on the boss earns you 500 points
● Total added bonuses are equal to 600 points
This will give you the needed score of 3600 points for the avatar :) However, the bonuses vary depending on your performance during the game.
It seems quite difficult, but the game is more about luck than it is about skill. The more red/broken purple/broken robots that you defeat, the higher your score will be! It took many months of playing before I eventually got the score I needed. Hopefully your good luck charms will send you the red/broken purple/broken robots you need to be able to get the needed score!

There are four different types of robots:
First of all there is the plain yellow robot. Defeating this one adds 5 points to your score.

Then there are red robots. They are worth 20 points each! Try to defeat as many of these as you can.
The words on the red robots are upside down, so make sure you look carefully. I tend to make mistakes when the word is something like 'WOW' or 'MOM' because they look the same the other way around :)

There is also another red robot, but this one is "broken". They are worth a whopping 100 points each, so make sure you defeat these!

After level 3 you will start to see purple broken robots. These are also worth 100 points each so make sure you defeat as many as you can!

(word removed as it was inappropriate - it is also worth mentioning that you may get inappropriate words as TNT seems to have left them in their dictionary)

Sometimes when you are playing, a grundo will randomly pop up at the front of the screen. It's not known whether this is a glitch or just a random addition to the game, but you seem to automatically lose when he appears. I've only ever got this once in my whole time in playing so there must be a really slim chance of it happening. However, other users have mailed me about it happening to them on numerous occasions. What is the cause of this? Why, we'll have to ask the adoring Neopets Team one day. :)

It is helpful if you are able to type without looking at the keyboard as it allows you to focus more easily on the screen. However, it is not essential. It is more important to be able to type accurately at a fast pace in order to keep up with the speed of the robots! The more accurate you are, the more points you receive!
100% accuracy = 200 bonus points!

This is the first level of the game and it is very straightforward. To complete the level, successfully defeat 12 robots. All of the words are 3 letters long, so it's fairly simple. I try to aim for at least 450 points in the first round. This means plenty of red or broken red robots. If you don't get at least 400 points at the end of the first round, I would advise you to restart the game. Of course, the more red/broken robots the better your score. Also, try to aim for 100% accuracy to get 200 bonus points!
The robots now have four letter words, and are still fairly easy to defeat. You need to beat 14 robots in this round, and I would aim for at least 1000 points and try to accomplish 100% accuracy. Hope for plenty of red robots!
16 robots to defeat to complete this round! The robots have 5 letters and they start to move a little faster so it's more difficult to get high accuracy. It helps if you position both of your hands on each side of the keyboard and it helps me minimise my mistakes. I try to aim for at least 1400 points in this round as the next two rounds have a faster pace and it's difficult to see the other robots. Also in this round and beyond you will start to see the purple broken robots :) It's not guaranteed that you'll get one, though.
You need to defeat 18 robots in this level! The robots have 6 letters and it can be quite difficult to keep up with the pace so make sure you practice plenty! Aim for 1900 points at least because the final round is much harder and it's not guaranteed that you'll get any broken robots - which you need. 100% accuracy is also pretty helpful but if you can't manage that - don't panic! I find it difficult to manage 100% on round 4 as well :)
Fast-paced and fairly difficult, but practice will make it all worth the while. The words now have 7 letters. However, I suggest that you have at least 2500 points before going on to defeat the boss. In previous times playing the game, I've gone onto defeating the boss with 2000 or so and come short of a few hundred points for the avatar.
You have 60 seconds to type 25 different words. It can be quite nerveracking so make sure you're calm and have no distractions when typing the words! :) You get 20 points each time you successfully complete a word. The more accurate, the better. The letters are more difficult as they are 8 letters long.

● For defeating 25 words on the Boss, overall you receive 500 points (during the game)
● For completing the game with all three lives intact you get 300 points (at the end of the game)
● And for successfully defeating the game with 100% accuracy you get 300 points! (at the end of the game, obviously) If you didn't get 100% accuracy your bonus will be less than 300.

Good luck!
