Happy's Gift Drop Rules!
1. Never ask Happy to be chosen or for an item, if you do, it's most likely he will give you the cold shoulder.
2. Happy's gift drops are absolutely 100% random. The item he drops can be anywhere from 100np to 100,000np in value. It can be a codestone, a random book, a petpet, a petpet paintbrush or even labmap pieces! The member chosen will get whatever Happy happens to have on him at the time!
Where Did This Little Ghost Come From?!
This little Ghostkerchief grew up in the dark, dank Haunted Woods. He was exposed to the cruel ways of Edna, The Brain Tree and was forced to walk through the game cemetary everyday on his way home from school. Despite all these terrible occurances Happy kept a optimistic outlook on life and enjoyed every second of everyday. As the stars turned in Happy's favor, he was then plucked from the bowels of Neopia and thrust into high society. Happy was adopted by a rich and powerful Royal Kougra. During his time with the Kougra, Happy was simply an item to be carted around. Chained to his master Happy grew sad, and lonely. His master never played with Happy or let him fly (at least in The Haunted Woods Happy was free) The Royal Kougra never spent an ounce of his money on anyone but himself even when he saw those in poverty. When Happy spoke up to his master one day he was banished from his master's house. Joyful and Elated, Happy stumbled across the lovely and literate Eccentricity guild. Happy learned while with his master that he would rather use the little pocket change he found while flying around to help those who keep the guild alive, then to spend it on himself. Happy now is (well...Happy) to be flying around and dropping random gifts on those who help keep the guild active and thriving.
Other FAQ's
Do I need to PAY to take part in this? Absolutely not! Happy would be insulted if you did! He is doing this out of the kindness of his heart and paying for his gifts would slander his name!
How can I get ahold of Happy? He sent me a *cackle* mail! Happy is constantly flying around Neopia, it's impossible for someone to get him to hold still long enough to have a conversation. I'm sorry!
What do I do if Happy gives me an item I already have? NEVER return Happy's gifts to him. Well, because, it is just that- a gift. You would most likely insult Happy. He gave it to YOU, but you can sell it, trade it, auction it, or if you are inspired by Happy! Give it to someone else!
Why does Happy get sad, and what happens when he does? Happy gets sad when those in the guild aren't being active and aren't chatting, taking part in activities, or recruiting enough. When Happy gets sad, this page will tell you! Happy will go through a "dry spell" and give out no items until he is cheered up. You all can cheer him up by singing him a song, writing a poem (post these on the guild board so he can read them please) and just be active in general throughout the guild. Happy will know, he will be pleased and begin his random gift drops again!
