Why You Joined TNP: I've never been very focused on what I wanted to accomplish here on Neopets... Generally, I would just do my dailies, and surf the boards for a few minutes. Thanks to TNP, I've accomplished so much and will keep thriving!

Description
I'm an internet-junkie who needs her social media fix 24/7. I'm always online either browsing the web or gaming (on Neopets or on my consoles). I can be very sarcastic, but I consider that to be my best trait. Kidding of course, there are more awesome traits about me ;) Well, I used to be very engrossed in anime and manga, hence the name, but I haven't found the time to get back into it. It's truly sad, but I'm sure by the time I have over 100 series to catch up on, I'll buckle down.

Another neat trait about me is that I'm actually involved in the "professional" game industry, although the term professional is a hard thing to associate with video games. Either way, I've gone to events like E3 and PAX, and loved every minute of it! I'm testing the waters to see where this industry takes me.

Finally, I do love helping others. What may seem like a random simple good deed for you can mean the world to other people (as I've personally experienced), so I always want to give back to the world. Neopets allows me to do this in ways I can't do in the real world (for now anyway).

How I Earn NPs
I don't consider myself rich, but I don't struggle for points either. I find myself being mediocre at most of the NP-earning methods, but with all these combined, I manage to survive... somewhat.

Dailies: Although Tombola always closes his doors when I pass by! Stop taking breaks and let me play!

Habitarium: I like to leave it running in the background at level 50 (gems), although that's not always practical.

Keyquests: Virtual board game for the virtually bored!

Games: Make around 15K a day, which I just invest in stocks.

Stocks: Hopefully this works out in the long run!

Graphics

Before Neopets, I used to make many icons on Livejournal and Greatestjounal (well, before it was shut down). I entered weekly contests and to date I have won a total of 247 awards! Neat right?

I have a livejournal with all my graphics, under the same name animefreak869! Here's a sample of some of the graphics I've made over the years.

Completely revamped my portfolio! I've changed the layout and added new sections to make it easier to track my goal progress. I'm very proud of how everything turned out, even if I don't win the 'most improved portfolio'.

I'm finally doing my part to help out the guild! I am now hosting the TNP Portal page, and hopefully can do a good job of keeping it updated.

Just in time for the holidays, Wren has gone above and beyond to help me adopt one of my dream pets! A Faerie Grundo was actually the first pet I ever wanted to have, but I could never get a lucky zap or event. Thank you so much Wren, you rock!

I've finally created my personal adoption agency! This has been a goal of mine for a very long time and thanks to TNP, I've finally done it!

I've received one of my dream pets today thanks to a wonderful Neopian :) I applied for Preserves a while ago through a neomail application and was fortunate enough to get him! I'm so happy, because he has a perfect name for what he is so I can work on his character well!

Reached Level 50 in Habitarium! | June 21st |
Yay! I was able to reach level 50 in 3 weeks for the Habitarium! To be precise, it was 18 days considering I went on vacation for a week. My electricity bill went up a little but now I can relax and collect some purple gems :)

Returned to Neopets! | May 27th |
I've finally made it back to this addiction of a site! I've always been on and off with this place, but now it seems like I might stay for the long run. First order of business was to fix up all my petpages and userlookups. It's taken quite a while but they finally look eye-pleasing (I hope)!

Why PPG?

In case you're curious as to why I created a PPG theme, it's quite simple: I love the PPG. It takes me back to a simpler time in my childhood, and it's one of the best cartoons ever to hit the air waves. I'm disappointed with the current shows on television; I don't think children are receiving the best quality of programming. Plus, the PPG were not only for the young, they had adult humor buried within that I can now appreciate. It's sugar, spice, and everything nice! What more could you ask for? Besides Chemical X.
